Chris Brown’s Car Search For Guns Outside Pre-Grammy Party Trouble must have a GPS signal on Chris Breezy… According to TMZ reports : Chris Brown has cops on high alert these days … and an anonymous tip that the passenger in his car had a gun was enough for L.A.’s finest to spring into action. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the LAPD got a call from someone saying Chris’ passenger was carrying a gun. Chris was already inside Sayer nightclub in Hollywood, but the cops were able to coral the friend, detain him and search Chris’ Lambo. They found nothing. Chris was attending TI’s pre-Grammy party when it went down. Cops are well aware trouble sometimes finds him. You’ll recall he was performing at a VMA party at 1OAK last Summer when shots rang out and Suge Knight was hit 6 times. Last month 5 people were shot when Brown was performing in San Jose. On the bright side, Brown tweeted Friday he’s completed his community service in the Rihanna case. “Anonymous tip” sounds like cop-speak for “We know Chris Brown is around, let’s f*** with him.”. After rumors surfaced that Aretha Franklin got uninvited to Whitney Houston’s homegoing service because of an interview with the Today show she is ready to set the record straight with a new statement: Extra TV, the New York Post and Newsday (New York) should stop the BS. Cissy Houston and I have been longtime friends for almost 50 years. I have four invitations and parking passes that were sent to me for the funeral. Extra TV, the New York Post and Newsday (New York) are more interested in sensationalism and negative speculations than the truth. People are getting their information from the wrong source. The intelligent and the thoughtful thing to do would be to respect and have some sensitivity to the moment. If you don’t know how, at least try. Cissy does not need ridiculous speculation and neither do I—particularly at this time. Also, with respect to the Today Show, my entire statement was pre-taped. However, the Today Show did not air the part of my statement, which said, “This is no reflection on Cissy or Nippy’s upbringing.” Knowing Cissy as well as I do, I know Whitney left home right and properly. I was generalizing and it was a well intended statement for any young adult coming into the music industry. I was not speaking of anyone specifically. It shows Whitney Houston peaceful lying in her golden casket with her “favorite purple dress” and diamond earrings. The magazine claims she was buried in $500,000 worth of jewelry. Edwards Funeral Home, the New Jersey funeral home entrusted with the final arrangements of Whitney Houston , have released an obituary honoring the life of our favorite “Jersey Girl.” Services for Houston, who died Saturday, February 11, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA the night before the Grammy Awards, will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, where Houston sang as a child. The services will be carried on television and streamed online. Her eulogy will be given by gospel singer Marvin Winans . Her godmother Aretha Franklin will sing. Clive Davis and Kevin Costner will also speak at the funeral. There still will be no public memorial service for Whitney Houston , but a publicist for the late singer told CNN that Saturday’s funeral in Newark, New Jersey will be made available for television and web streaming. The services will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, where Houston sang as a child. Services begin at noon. Gospel singer and pastor Marvin L. Winans, a longtime friend of the Houston family, will give the eulogy, while Houston’s godmother, Aretha Franklin, will be among the performers. Winans officiated at Houston’s 1992 marriage to Bobby Brown. Others confirmed on the guest list are Chaka Khan, Bebe & CeCe Winans, songwriter Diane Warren, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, pop singer Darlene Love, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Ray J and Brandy. Houston’s cousin, singer Dionne Warwick, was in New Jersey helping the family with funeral arrangements. Although the family is not commenting on Houston’s final resting place, her death certificate filed Wednesday in Los Angeles lists it as Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey.
