Maj. Nidal Hasan, the Army psychiatrist who four years ago turned his gun on fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, has been convicted of murder. He was found guilty on all counts, including premeditated murder. Hasan, 42, faces the death penalty. If he is executed, he would become the first person the U.S. military has put to death in more than 50 years. A 13-member panel, or jury, of high-ranking officers voted unanimously to convict Hasan, 42, for killing 13 people and injuring 31 others in 2009. As the verdict was read, Hasan had no visible reaction . Similarly, there was no outcry from the audience, which included relatives of the victims. Military judge Col. Tara Osborn warned against any outbursts. Several family members, however, left in tears. The panel took only about seven hours to convict Hasan, and now turns to sentencing phase of the trial to decide what punishment to recommend. Prosecutors are expected to call 16 witnesses over two days during the sentencing phase as they move to have Hasan face the death penalty.

So much for that anticipated Tyson Gay vs. Usain Bolt showdown at World Championshipts next month. Gay, the U.S. sprinter who won both the 100 and 200-meter dashes at the Nationals in June, has tested positive for a banned substances and dropped out of the upcoming global event in Moscow. “I don’t have a sabotage story. I don’t have any lies. I don’t have anything to say to make this seem like it was a mistake or it was on USADA’s hands, someone playing games,” said Gay in a statement. “I don’t have any of those stories. I basically put my trust in someone and I was let down.” Gay would not name the individual in question nor include any more specifics. But he was notified by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency last week that an “A” sample came back positive from a May 16 out-of-competition test. He will now await the results of the follow-up “B” sample and then his punishment, assuming that test also comes back in the affirmative. Gay said he has spoken with his teammates and family members about the incident. “My career and my name have always been better than medals or records or anything like that. I’ve always wanted a clean name with anything. Unfortunately, I have to break this news, that I have a positive `A’ sample.” The track and field star finished fourth in the 100 at the London Olympics last month and was part of a USADA program titled “My Victory” a few years ago in which he testified on the official website: “I compete clean because I really believe in fairness, and besides that, my mom would kill me! Just being honest.”

I am thinking he was actually hoping slapping her ass would cause a ripple effect that would end up getting the venue shut down, evacuated for fear shit would spill out of her spandex she’s squeezed so tight in, and drown at least a dozen people when it gets unleashed….I mean getting kicked out is more of a thank you than a punishment, the punishment is the whole moment of contact with such an evil force….I am surprised she didn’t appreciate the male attention, you know since her husband is out there banging out hits with Rihanna…..I mean usually when old hag wives get dolled up…the ass slap is the objective of the night, but I guess Beyonce’s just more into stealing your fucking money
