Lauryn Hill Abruptly Removes Santigold And Nas From Her Tour

Michael Hickey/Getty Images Lauryn Hill’s Tour Gets Some Interested Changes Several artists including Santigold, Nas, SZA, and Dave Chappelle were slated to perform for Lauryn Hill ‘s  Miseducation  20th Anniversary tour–but it looks like that won’t be happening, as some performances were cut from the final roster. The cancellations were a surprise to many fans, who were only told that there were “production issues.” Santigold, one of the artist removed from tour dates, took to Twitter to explain her no-show. I’m sorry you paid to see us and we’re not there. That really bums me out. I’m also bummed that @MsLaurynHill and crew didn’t tell ppl why we’re not there. She took us off the bill. — Santigold (@Santigold) September 13, 2018 Nope not sick. So sorry I wasn’t able to perform for you all. Note I saw from @MsLaurynHill Mgmt team read… “Due to production issues, The Miseducation 20th Anniversary Tour is unable to accommodate Santigold’s performance this evening” — Santigold (@Santigold) September 13, 2018 The singer wrote that Hill and her tour organizers decided to “reduce the support” for Santigold’s set. Apparently Nas was also taken off the bill without much explanation. I will no longer be performing on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill Tour at the following dates due to the tour organizers' decision to reduce the support. So sorry to disappoint my fans. 9/14: Vancouver, BC 9/15: Seattle, WA 9/22: Phoenix, AZ 9/26: Denver, CO — Santigold (@Santigold) September 15, 2018   Unfortunately for Lauryn Hill fans, this is far from the first issue that the  Miseducation  tour–and other Lauryn tours/dates in the past–has faced. Most recently, after she angered fans by showing up late in Toronto earlier this summer, several North American dates were canceled. These new problems come only a month after Robert Glasper claimed that Hill stole music during the making of her first album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , and has failed to credit musicians in the past.

Trio of YouTube Vloggers Die in Tragic Waterfall Accident

We have tragic news to pass along. Three popular Canadian YouTubers – Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper – all died on Tuesday in a tragic accident that took place at Shannon Falls in British Columbia. In a statement released on Wednesday, the Squamish RCMP wrote the following about this awful incident: “On July 3rd, 2018, at 11:55 am Squamish RCMP received a call from BC Ambulance regarding three people who were swimming in one of the pools at the top of Shannon Falls.” Continued the police in this statement: “The individuals were with a group of friends when they slipped and fell into a pool 30 metres below.” All three corpses have since been recovered and the case is being referred to the British Columbia Coroners Service. (Shannon Falls, it should be noted, is the third highest waterfall in British Columbia. it reaches a a height of 1,009 feet.) According to The Vancouver Sun, the fatal accident occurred after Scraper slipped and fell off the waterfall. Gamble (pictured below) and Lyakh reportedly then got swept away by the water while attempting to save her. The British Columbia Coroners Service has told People Magazine that it cannot confirm or release the identities of the victims, but that they are “in their late 20s – one female and two males.” In a YouTube video shared on July 6, members of the group High on Life – which posts travel videos online – published a tearful memorial for the three deceased vloggers. This is what was said on it: On July 3rd, 2018, we lost three very dear friends of ours: Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper. There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and the devastation we are all going through right now. They were three of the warmest, kindest, most driven and outgoing people that you could ever meet and the world has lost a good deal of light with their passing. From what we can gather via Facebook, High on Life was started in 2012 after Gamble, Lyakh and another friend named Parker Heuser gave up the lease on their apartment and chose to start traveling the world together. As you can see from the photo above, and has been confirmed by various outlets, Scraper was dating Lyakh at the time of their deaths. Shortly before his passing, Gamble wrote a long message on Instagram about finding his “purpose” in life. “When life is on purpose and I feel clear with my direction, all my other decisions seem to get easier,” he wrote, adding that “it took me 29 years to understand this” and continuing as follows: “So if you have a strong masculine core, and find yourself drained of energy, attention, and power, check in with this notion of your ‘purpose’ and see what comes up. “Make purpose the focus above everything else in your life and watch how the rest will fall into place.” Elsewhere, a GoFundMe page/account has been created by High on Life to help pay for a memorial “to commemorate the beautiful lives and legacies that these 3 friends left behind.” Any additional funds raised will go towards travel arrangements and expenses for the families of the deceased. Our thoughts go out to all affected by these deaths. May Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper rest in peace.

Safety Is Sexy: Pyeongchang Sets A Record for Most Condoms Distributed At Winter Olympics

FABRICE COFFRINI/AFP/Getty Images Winter Olympics Sets New Record For Condom Distribution In 2018, The Olympics ain’t playing when it comes to safe sex–and Pyeongchang is going above and beyond to make sure that every athlete is safe at the Winter Olympics. South China Morning Post  has reported that 110,000 condoms will be given out this year. With the total number of athletes only reaching 2,925, that’s a little less than 40 condoms per person, which makes it the largest number distributed in the history of the Winter Olympics. If that supply runs out, the site also claims that condoms will also be available in men and women’s restrooms in addition to the media and medical centers throughout the Olympic Village. Convenience Co donated 100,000 of the condoms for “a successful hosting of the Winter Olympics and the prevention of the spread of the HIV virus.”100,000 condoms were passed out during the 2010 Vancouver and 2014 Sochi games respectively, but during the Summer Olympics in 2016, Brazil passed out a whopping 450,000 condoms. More people do compete in the Summer Games than the Winter, though, so that’s to be expected. Pyeongchang’s Winter Olympics runs from Feb. 9 to Feb 25. Continue reading

Shay Mitchell in a Slutty Bathing Suit for Relevance of the Day

Shay Mitchell is some Canadian rich kid, possibly have Indian, dot not feather, roots, who was raised rich in the rich area of West Vancouver, where a girl I know knew her or her brother and said she was a cunt and I’ll believe that because I know Canadians, I am Canadian, and the second a Canadian makes it in America after being in Degrassi, they end up thinking they are bigger and better than Canada… So there’s no hanging out and seeing any Shay Mitchell titties at our Canada wide Canada party where all 1000 Canadians get together in an Igloo to fuck and make more Canadians…she’s too good for that.. Especailly now that she’s on a hit show, or what was a hit show, with her 18 million followers that she cleverly figure out she could monetize, by creating her own brand, releasing her own series of teen novels, producing her own videos, doing her own “influencer” traveling series on youtube where the real money is at…called Shaycation and now she’s posting racy pics to social media to keep them hits up because all these girls are just attention seekers, some are just smarter and cash in when they can and you can’t really hate that…but I can hate how much I know about Shay Mitchell, when really I’ve never seen anything she does…I blame her being the only famous girl besides Celine and Drake from Canada….so that I get the inside scoop when really I just want to stare at her 30 year old, too old to play a teen, fit ass…. Here she is working out slutty… Here she is jumping on the bed… The post Shay Mitchell in a Slutty Bathing Suit for Relevance of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .
