Yesterday, George Anthony took the stand and defended himself against allegations that he carried on an affair with a woman who was helping him search for his grandchild, Caylee. Today, he implied that daughter Casey is behind Caylee’s death. George Anthony Testimony “The car smelled like human decomposition. Caylee was last seen with Casey,” George testified, growing emotional. “One and one adds up to two in my mind. I was trying to put all the stories together. ” Casey Anthony shook her head and scribbled notes to her legal team as her father answered questions. George said he felt a “deep, deep hurt inside” when Caylee’s remains were found a couple years ago. He even attempted suicide soon after because “it just seemed like the right time to go, to be with Caylee. To spend time with Caylee. I didn’t want to be in this world anymore.” The defense, who is trying to make jurors believe George abused his daughter and that somehow explains her changing story, asked the witness if he ever touched Casey inappropriately. “Sir, I never would do anything to harm my daughter in that way,” he said.

Lindsay Lohan is really getting screwed over by the criminal justice system. Serving her jail sentence inside a $2.25 million, 3,000 beach house in Venice Beach, Calif., where she relaxes , parties and gets paid big bucks to shoot commercials? That’ll teach her! In a new interview , Lohan opens up about her tough life. “I’m a very social person, and I like being outside, especially in Venice Beach. I’d like to get out more – just go out and have dinner,” Lindsay says. “I was really upset not being able to go to see my little brother (Dakota “Cody” Lohan) at his birthday party. He just turned 16. That bummed me out.” Of course, there are silver linings. Like NOT BEING BEHIND BARS . “I’ve been having a lot of work-related meetings. Sometimes my friends come over. And I get to see my sister, Ali, which is nice,” Lindsay admits. “When my friends come over, they’re not drinking,” notes the star, wearing an ankle monitor. “Alcohol is not in my house, it’s not part of my life.” But, have no fear, celebrity gossip photographers. When Lindsay is “released” on June 29, it won’t necessarily mean the end of nightclubs for her. “I don’t think you should ever say never,” she explains. Great. Only time will tell, but Lindsay is steadfast that she’s clean for good: “I’ve grown up and I’m willing to do what I have to do to prove that.” “This may come as a shock, but I mean it: I want to start my community service. I want to finish that so I can work in August and September.” “You go through experiences. I do understand that I need to gain some of the respect back, but I’m willing to work hard for that. Hmmmm….sounds like somebody was feenin for some lezzbunn lovin’: Lindsay Lohan was caught sneaking out of Samantha Ronson’s home in Venice Beach, CA. on (drum roll please!) VALENTINE’S DAY! The on-again-off-again ( or are they ‘on-again?’) couple have adjoining town homes, which Lindsay has previously maintained is just a coincidence. Instead of using the sidewalk, Lindsay opted to sneak through the bushes after leaving Sam’s pad Monday. This was the first time we’ve seen the Mean Girls star, 24, since her much-publicized court appearance last Wednesday after being charged with felony grand theft for allegedly swiping a $2,500 necklace from a jewelry store. Lindsay Lohan will not be sticking around rehab after all. Despite an earlier report that she would remain at Betty Ford despite being free to go, E! reports she’s peacing out soon – if she hasn’t already. Radar Online says she’s already been released from the Rancho Mirage, Calif., facility, where she was ordered to spend 90 days months ago. LOOK OUT WORLD : She’s free … or about to be. Lindsay’s next court appearance is scheduled for February 25. Until then, she will be trying to reacclimate to society slowly and cautiously. Lohan is expected to live at a secret beach hideaway (Venice Beach is the rumored destination) where she will try to turn over a new leaf . She still has the lease on her West Hollywood condo … for now. The big question, whenever she gets out, is whether she’ll stay clean. Thoughts?
