BOSSIP Exclusive: Live TV Killer’s Family Didn’t Approve Of His Homosexuality

Cousin James Flanagan Told BOSSIP He Believes Vester Flanagan Snapped The family of the gunman who murdered two journalists on live TV knew he was gay, but didn’t agree with it, a relative told BOSSIP. James Flanagan said the family tolerated his cousin Vester Flanagan Jr’s sexuality, but didn’t support it. “I don’t think too many families are cool with that, they accept that,” Flanagan told BOSSIP Friday from his home in Vallejo, Ca. “That ain’t the way it’s supposed to be, and when you go against the good man’s wishes…what is it? Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.” Vester Flanagan gunned down his two ex-colleagues, reporter Alison Parker, 24, and camera operator Adam Ward, 27, during a live shot Aug. 26 in Virginia, before killing himself. Flanagan, 82, said he last talked to Vester three or four months ago, and he never spoke of feeling targeted in the workplace because of his race and sexual orientation. Flanagan said his cousin seemed normal and didn’t appear to be unhinged. “I’ve never seen him come out like that,” the Korean War veteran told BOSSIP. “I never saw him blow up like that. You never really can tell what’s on a person’s mind.” The cousin said he believed Vester snapped. “I don’t think nothing like this is planned, it just hits you,” Flanagan said. Still, he conceded that he might have missed warning signs from his troubled relative. “As far as I know, he was normal like everybody else,” Flanagan said. “I couldn’t see what was on the inside. You see what’s on the outside.” “The only thing we can say, something went wrong,” Flanagan added. “Where? We can’t say. I guess nobody will ever know.”

Josh Duggar Enters Rehab, Gets SLAMMED By Parents

In a surprise move, Josh Duggar has entered rehab today as a result of his recent sexual misconduct. TMZ is reporting that Duggar is seeking treatment at an undisclosed location for issues remain unspecified, but are clearly tied to his recent scandals. Generally, matters such as Josh’s indiscretions are dealt with “in house,” or within the Duggars’ spiritual community. When Josh received counseling from church elders after he molested five young girls in the early 2000s, this was infamously the case. The fact that Josh is seeking a more conventional form of treatment is an indication of just how seriously his family is taking this latest scandal. After admitting to cheating on his wife and suffering from an addiction to pornography, one can see why any parents would be concerned. Josh’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, have issued an uncharacteristically critical statement to the press regarding teh decision: “His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife and children and have negatively affected so many others.” “He has also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.” The Duggars have revealed that Josh’s wife, Anna Duggar, is also seeking treatment “for her heart and future.” Michelle and Jim Bob add that they are praying Josh will prove capable of “sincere change.” Is Anna finally fed up? Are the Duggars hinting that she might finally divorce Josh ? We’ll have updates as more information becomes available. View Slideshow: 13 Reasons Why Anna Duggar Should Leave Josh NOW

Vester Flanagan Blamed Shootings on Discrimation He Faced as a Gay Black Man

Early this morning, Alison Parker and Adam Ward were shot and killed while broadcasting a live news report for WDBJ in Roanoake, Virginia. The man responsible for the shooting, Vester Lee Flanagan , fled the scene, but shot himself while being pursued by police just hours later. Despite the severity of his self-inflicted wound, Flanagan is still alive  and is reportedly in critical condition at an unspecified Virginia hospital. Shortly after the shooting, several sources claimed that Flanagan had faxed a disturbing 23-page manifesto to his former employers at WDBJ, detailing his various grievances with the network, and with the world in general. Now, for the first time, portions of the document are being made public, and the excerpts that have been released thus far paint a chilling portrait of a man who claims he was pushed to the edge by homophobia and racial discrimination. In a part of the document that Flanagan labels “Suicide Note for Friends and Family,” the 41-year-old former multimedia reporter explains that he was “sent over the top” by the  Charleston church shooting  that took place in June. He also claims that he was a victim of “racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work.” Flanagan says he was “attacked” by black men and white females as a result of his race and sexual orientation. “Yes, it will sound like I am angry…I am,” Flanagan writes at one point. “And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace. “The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily…I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!” In tweets that he posted before shooting himself, Flanagan stated that he had been discriminated against by both Parker and Ward. Those closest to Flanagan have yet to issue a statement in response to today’s tragedy. Story developing… Gunman Opens Fire on News Crew
