50 Cent is releasing the first single from his new album this week. The rapper made the announcement of the song’s impending arrival via Twitter today, April 18th. “I’m putting my first single off my new album out this week,” 50 wrote on the social networking site. “Nothing but heat.” 50 has yet to divulge the title of the song or the new album. 50 also revealed last week that his new album will come packaged with a new movie that the rapper will write and direct.  50′s last album, 2009′s Before I Self Destruct also came with a self-written and directed movie. HOT97 DJ Funkmaster Flex took offense at comments made by the hosts of rival radio station Power 105.1′s morning show “ The Breakfast Club ” in regards to the arrest of HOT97 DJ Mister Cee last week. In true Funk Flex style, the DJ dropped bombs as he called out Power 105.1′s Breakfast Club.  “I know everything that moves in that building,”  Flex said before launching into a rather emotional tirade. This morning, Funkmaster Flex was crowned “Donkey of the Day” by The Breakfast Club. The crew berated Flex for dropping subliminal disses towards the crew and even went so far as to say that they weren’t scared of Flex, claiming that he only goes after the dead or women, referring to Flex’s venomous comments towards 2Pac and his previous beefs with females like Christina Milian and Amber Rose, not to mention his recent domestic violence arrest. Meagan Good is set to star in a new film entitled “Video Girl” where she plays a regular girl with dreams of seeing her name in lights and being on the big screen. She then meets a man who helps her become famous and becomes one of the most sought after video girls in the game, gets hooked on drugs and looses herself in the business. Meagan told Vibe magazine that this movie is “not the Karrine Steffans story”. Not only is Meagen starring in the movie, she also helped produce it, and says that its similar to the movie that Angelina Jolie produced for HBO. Other than Meagan Good, the movie stars actors like Ruby Dee, Melyssa Ford, Lisa Raye, Juelz Santana and many more. Check out the trailer from the film below. What do you guys think?
