Tristan Thompson: This is Proof I’m a Decent Father!

Tristan Thompson lost his starting job and didn’t play much throughout the regular season for the Cleveland Cavaliers. But then he regained the trust of his coach and his teammates and made an impact during the squad’s 2018 NBA Playoff run. Might the controversial power forward be close to replicating this same pattern in his personal life? We ask this question because Thompson is clearly attempting a comeback. He was spotted last week at a gym class with Khloe Kardashian, as it’s apparent at this point these two are attempting to work out their issues. Those issues, of course, being that Thompson cheated non-stop on his girlfriend throughout her pregnancy. Sources have confirmed, though, that Thompson was in the delivery room when Khloe gave birth and the reality star only just returned to Los Angeles after living in Cleveland for a few months after becoming a first-time mother. Was Tristan closely involved in the life of his daughter, True? He would certainly like folks to believe so, based on the basketball player’s latest Instagram photo: This is the first time, we believe, that Thompson has shared his own picture of True — and he’s actually done so via an image that also features his son, Prince. Yes, Tristan Thompson also has a son. The toddler is 18 months old and was born to Thompson’s ex, Jordan Craig, in December of 2018. She has said on numerous occasions that Thompson dumped her (while pregnant!) when he started to date Kardashian. As a caption to this parental snapshot, Thompson simply included a heart emoji. “Tristan is a part of Khloe’s life,” an insider recently told Us Weekly, confirming the romance is far from over and adding: “They are together, so he will be there. They’re continuing to work on their relationship.” How do Khloe’s loved ones feel about this reconciliation? “They know that in order to have Khloe back in their lives, they have to accept him,” this source adds. And this appears to be exactly what is happening. A few days ago, Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons went on a double date with Tristan and Khloe. Moreover, the relatively new mother shared videos of her and her baby daddy doing push-ups and high-knee jumps at a gym in California, making it clear that she’s now cool with the public knowing her status with Tristan. Will the whole cheating scandal be addressed on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 15 ? Yes, to an extent. “They always discuss real life things on the show,” Us Weekly wrote this week, concluding: “They’ve never ignored a topic. “It will definitely be brought up, but they don’t know how much. “They can film hours about it, but in the end, Khloé is one of the executive producers and will have final say on what actually makes air.” View Slideshow: Khloe Kardashian: Why She SHOULD Leave Tristan Thompson, But Never Will

Vinnie Paul Dies; Beloved Drummer Was 54

Vinne Paul, a veteran musician in the heavy metal music industry and a founding member of the band Pantera, died this week from unknown causes. He was 54 years old. The drummer’s death was announced by Pantera on Saturday via Twitter, as the group simply posted the following message: Vinnie Paul Abbott aka Vinnie Paul has passed away. Paul is best known for his work as the drummer in the bands Pantera and Hellyeah. No further details are available at this time. The family requests you please respect their privacy during this time. Paul helped create Pantera in the 1980s, along with his brother, guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott. Their father a famous country and western songwriter and producer named Jerry Abbott. The group enjoyed mainstream success with second lead singer Phil Anselmo. Throughout its career, Pantera earned four Grammy nominations and charted nine albums on the Billboard 200, including its 1994 album Far Beyond Driven, which debuted atop the chart at the time of its release. After Pantera split up, the Abbott siblings formed Damageplan in 2003. However, the band was performing in December 2004 when Dimebag Darrell was shot and killed onstage during a concert in Columbus, Ohio. Since 2006, Paul was the drummer for Hellyeah, a heavy metal band that included Mudvayne vocalist Chad Gray and  Nothingface guitarist Tom Maxwell. In the wake of Paul’s passing, some major names in the music business have shared their condolences on social media. Alice Cooper Tweeted the following: “Terribly saddened by the news of Vinnie Paul’s passing. “Vinnie was a beloved fixture in the rock and metal communities and we will miss seeing him out on the road. His impact on heavy music is immeasurable. Rest In Peace Vinnie, condolences to your family, friends and fans.” And then there was this from Slash: “Tragic news about Vinnie Paul today. “He was one of the warmest people I knew. A truly good & fun friend. We’re going to miss you more than you could possibly have known. RIP buddy.” And this from Bret Michaels: “Vinnie – You will be missed! You were an amazing human being & we had many great times together. A toast to you my friend, my prayers are with you!” And this from Dave Mustaine of Megadeth: “I just woke up in Belgium to the news that my friend Vinnie Paul has passed away. Another metal hero taken too soon. Say hello to Daryl for me. “Rest In Peace, my dear friend.” “Gutted to hear about the nicest guy in metal passing. Vinnie Paul showed us nothing but love. We’ll miss you Vinnie,” Papa Roach also wrote in response. As we said above, we do not know how Paul died right now or even on which day. We’ll update this story with more information and news as it breaks, May Vinnie Paul rest in peace. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2018: In Memoriam

A Great Ending To A Killer Finals, And The Best Team Won!

Game seven of the 2010 NBA Finals was the perfect ending for one of the best Championship Series in any sport in Your Old Pal New York Vinnie’s time on this Planet. This was the way to end a season with the two best teams in the NBA duking it out until the final seconds before the Los Angeles Lakers walked away with the Larry O’Brien Trophy. Early on it looked like the Boston Celtics would finish their dramatic turn around from a team that looked like they were ready for an early exit in the Playoffs and instead went to the seventh game of the NBA Finals. But in the end it was “ The Black Mamba ” himself Lakers All-Star guard Kobe Bryant who once again strapped his team on his back in the critical moments of the game and carried his team to the 83-79 comeback win over Boston. Bryant was named the 2010 NBA Finals MVP and deservedly so; especially in this game when he had a pretty lousy night from the field but still somehow ended up as the leading scorer of the game and got a double-double as well. Bryant did not win this game by himself as Ron Artest scored 20 points and Pau Gasol also came up huge putting 19 points on the scoreboard and grabbing 18 rebounds off the backboard. For the second year in a row the Lakers proved that they had the toughness when they needed it. That was a key factor in their winning this game as well as the series. Although New York Vinnie never gave them the credit they deserved during the season they were “ the best team in the NBA ” this year. They deserved to win this series. That is not to take anything away from the Boston Celtics who certainly did look like an old and lethargic team once the NBA second season began. Whether things came together for them at the right time or they took their game to another level once the Playoffs started Boston was for real! And they took the NBA Champions all the way down to the wire and lost by a mere four points. That does not look  like a team that needs to go through a rebuild in New York Vinnie’s opinion. You know that it has been a great season when you are ticked off when it is over and you can not wait until the start of the next season. That is the feeling that New York Vinnie has as the 2010 NBA season has come  to an end. It was a tough regular season but these Playoffs and especially the NBA Finals showed once again why the NBA is “ The Greatest Game On Earth! ”
