Scarlett Johansson is engaged! To journalist Romain Dauriac! “They’re engaged and very happy,” a source says of the duo. People broke the story earlier today, noting that the proposal occurred about a month ago and the actress’ engagement ring is a vintage Art Deco ring. Johansson was spotted wearing the diamond stunner while in Italy promoting her new sci-fi film Under the Skin at the Venice International Film Festival. In the past year, she’s been seen wearing diamonds on her left hand, most recently in July, when she was sporting an ornate gold ring with a diamond and ruby. That bauble was “simply a piece of jewelry.” Not this time! Before dating Romain Dauriac , who she was first linked to in late 2012, Scarlett dated Nate Naylor and Sean Penn. Prior to that, she was married to Ryan Reynolds. Congratulations to the soon-to-be-newlyweds!
