According to WSB-TV , in 2018 Kevon Watkins, who was 16 at the time, was charged with the death of Alexus Watkins when he strangled her after he was confronted for changing the password to the Wifi in his home. See, he was upset that too many people were using the network, which was slowing down his Xbox connection. Apparently, his mother tried to remove the Xbox from his room, but when his sister confronted him, he put her in a chokehold for 10 minutes, only letting go when the police arrived on the scene, according to witness testimony at his murder trial. Alexus was pronounced dead from asphyxiation at the Medical Center, Navicent Health, early the next morning. Earlier this week, Kevon was recently found guilty of felony murder and aggravated assault. He was spend the rest of his life in prison. Watkin’s lawyer asked for a bench trial, one where the judge makes the decision about the plantiff’s innocence, not a jury of one’s peers. Bibb County Superior Court Judge Verda Colvin told the court that she nixed manslaughter charges for felony murder because his brother tried to stop him and he kept choking his sister. “Even under the best estimation, by the time [a sheriff’s deputy] got there …. It had been at least 11 minutes that the defendant had to have been choking his sister,” Colvin said, adding, “In those 10 minutes, she had to have stopped moving. Perhaps that wasn’t noticed by the defendant because he was still angry.” Hearing sentence, Watkins and as he left the courtroom, he sobbed, muttering, “I’m sorry,” WSB noted. It stars reality star Kendall Jenner in what looks like a Party City wig, catering to cops at a fake protest. SMH. “Pepsi was trying to project a global message of unity, peace and understanding”, the company said in a statement. “Clearly we missed the mark, and we apologize. We did not intend to make light of any serious issue. We are removing the content and halting any further rollout.” Well, clearly you missed with flying colors, PepsiCo. When Reuters tried to reach out to reps fro Kendall, no one responded. How convenient. Who thought it was a good idea to appropriate injustice anyway??

We bought two Hero3 black edition cameras, used them this weekend with great video quality but terrible battery life and if you plan to use the wifi feature you will need to buy extra batteries or the battery back pack(I assume that is why they make it). We used the wifi iPhone app on one of the hero3 cameras and the battery was drained to almost empty in 30mins and the other hero3 camera we didn#39;t use the wifi feature and it lasted longer but not as long as expected(comparing to our other he
Good news for the folks who can’t afford to break the bank for a shady overpriced iPad2 … Amazon just unveiled their new tablet — the Kindle Fire and it’s sposed to be very comparable. At a press event in New York City on Wedesnday, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos took the wraps off the company’s tablet offering. The Kindle Fire will sell for $199, will run a modified version of Google’s Android operating system, will feature a 7-inch display and will be deeply integrated with Amazon’s cloud storage system and its massive online content library of books, music and more. According to AllThingsD’s live blog of the event, pre-orders open for the Fire on September 28; devices will ship November 15. Ahead of the official announcement, Bezos gave Bloomberg Businessweek some of the details about the tailor-made OS and the content that will be available on the Fire. “Amazon has painted over the rough surfaces of Google’s Android operating system with a fresh and easy-to-use interface and tied the device closely to its own large and growing content library,” Bloomberg explains, based on a briefing from Bezos. “Kindle Fire owners can watch the film Rio, scroll through magazines such as The New Yorker or Esquire, and access their music collection on Amazon’s servers.” The device will also run a custom-built “split browser” called Amazon Silk, which “accelerates the power of the mobile device hardware by using the computing speed and power of the Amazon Web Services Cloud,” according to a statement provided by Amazon. “The Silk browser software resides both on Kindle Fire and on the massive server fleet that comprises the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2),” Amazon’s statement also reads. “With each page request, Silk dynamically determines a division of labor between the mobile hardware and Amazon EC2 (i.e. which browser sub-components run where) that takes into consideration factors like network conditions, page complexity, and cached content.” GDGT’s Ryan Block notes that the WiFi-only Kindle Fire is merely a “stopgap” product, hence its pre-holiday release. Writes Block, “[M]y sources tell me the second-gen Kindle tablet will be out in Q1 of 2012 — yes, that soon.” This Kindle Fire definitely sounds like it can compete, especially since Amazon has such great ebook services. Would you cop one of these or are you Team Apple all the way? Source
I thought the pictures I had up earlier today of Blake Lively were hot, until I saw these shots and almost lost my mind. When I say lost my mind, I mean pop a boner at the Starbucks where I was using their wifi. I’m not allowed back. Anyhow, the girl is just hot, plain and simple, putting her in a fancy little dress like this is just icing on the cake. I don’t know what the award she won was for, but I’m assuming it has something to do with her hotness or sexiness or long legs or something along those lines.

here are the step by step how Make Your Cell Phone Battery Last Longer 1. Turn the phone of f. This is probably the most effective and most simple way of conserving your battery’s power. If you don’t plan on answering the phone while you’re sleeping or after business hours, just turn it off. Do the same if you are in an area with no reception (such as a subway or remote area, since constantly searching for service depletes the battery fairly quickly. Some phones have an automatic power save feature, but it takes about 30 minutes with no service to kick in. By then, much battery power has been used. 2. Turn off Bluetooth. It will drain your battery very quickly. 3. Switch off the vibrate function on your phone, and use just the ring tone instead. The vibrate function uses up a lot of battery power. Keep the ring tone volume as low as possible. 4. Turn off your phone’s back light. The back light is what makes the phone easier to read in bright light or outside. However, the light also uses battery power. If you can get by without it, your battery will last longer. If you have to use the back light, many phones will let you set the amount of time to leave the back light on. Shorten that amount of time. Usually, one or two seconds will be sufficient. Some phones have an ambient light sensor, which can turn off the back light in bright conditions and enable it in darker ones. 5. Avoid using unnecessary features. If you know it will be a while before your phone’s next charge, don’t use the camera or connect to the Internet. Flash photography can drain your battery especially quickly. 6. Same goes for WIFI, GPS, and infrared capabilities, if your phone has these features built in. Keep them off; save more power. 7. Use GSM – Using your phone in 3G / Dual Mode will drain the battery quicker than if you just use GSM mode – have a look at your phones spec and you’ll see it will quote two different battery life times – normally 50% more for pure GSM use. Charge your battery correctly, in accordance with its type. Most newer cell phones have lithium-ion batteries, while older ones generally have nickel-based batteries. Read the label on the back of the battery or in the technical specifications in the manual to determine which yours is.
