It should come as no surprise to The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers that Teresa Giudice dislikes Melissa Gorga. With a passion. But what is the source for this total and complete hatred? According to In Touch Weekly , it centers around Teresa’s husband, Joe, who reportedly has a wandering eye for more than just Atlantic City hoes . “When Melissa started dating Teresa’s brother, Joe would flirt with her and check her out whenever Teresa wasn’t looking ,” a source tells the magazine. “Melissa always told me he was a ‘creep.’ He’s so disrespectful to Teresa, but she turns a blind eye.” The insider goes on to claim Joe is well aware of his wife’s resentment toward Gorga and his behavior, but “doesn’t care – he thinks he’s an attractive guy.” For a lot more on this totally unscripted feud, pick up the latest issue of In Touch Weekly .

Rapper Nelly was detained last night as police officers searched his tour bus at a Texas checkpoint and found heroin, marijuana and a loaded gun on board. Nelly’s bus was stopped by the border patrol in Sierra Blanca, where Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Armie Hammer and Fiona Apple have been popped recently. A police canine detected the presence of drugs. After performing a search, officials found 36 small bags of heroin (totaling .64 ounces), over 10 pounds of weed in a duffel bag and a loaded .45 caliber pistol. The rapper was not arrested, however. Brian Keith Jones, one of seven passengers on board the bus, admitted the drugs and the gun were his. He was subsequently placed under arrest. Nelly and the others were cut loose. Why on Earth anyone is driving around with all those items at all – let alone through the most notorious checkpoint in the U.S. – is a question we can’t answer. [Photo: WENN.com]

The good news: Jay Chandrasekhar , founding member of Broken Lizard and frequent helmer of the comedy troupe’s major motion picture outings, including Super Troopers , Beerfest , and the not-technically-Broken Lizard The Babymakers , has landed his biggest studio gig to date! The less exciting news: It’s Yogi Bear 2 . Well now, let’s give this a chance. Deadline reports Chandrasekhar’s hire: “The sequel is being produced by Donald Deline and Karen Rosenfelt. The Eric Brevig-directed 2010 film grossed just over $200 million worldwide.” Remember, it’s a hit property! A good move for Chandrasekhar, in theory. Maybe he can work a little blue comedy into the PG (for “mild rude humor”) franchise. I know every Broken Lizard fan out there would love nothing more than for the guys to keep making Broken Lizard movies, and maybe someday get around to doing Super Troopers 2 , already. But these dudes are indie artists at their core, and sometimes you’ve got to do a Dukes of Hazzard or a Yogi Bear 2 to keep the machine going. (And admittedly, Yogi Bear was more harmless than offensively dumb as these kiddie pics go.) Consider Yogi Bear 2 : Jay Chandrasekhar as Night at the Museum : Tom Lennon and Ben Garant and let’s just keep our fingers crossed that Kevin Heffernan gets a cameo as a goofy Jellystone Park ranger tangling with Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake’s voices, which ought to be enough to keep the BL flame going. Based on Matt Bondurant’s novel The Wettest County in the World , the film stars Shia LaBeouf ( Disturbia ), Tom Hardy ( The Dark Knight Rises ), Academy Award-nominee Gary Oldman ( Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy ), Mia Wasikowska ( Alice in Wonderland ), Academy Award-nominee Jessica Chastain ( The Help ) and Emmy winner Guy Pearce ( The King’s Speech ). The Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD will include special features. Hitting retail on November 27th, special features include an audio commentary from director John Hillcoat and author Matt Dondurant. It will also have two featurettes: The True Story of the Wettest County in the World and Franklin County, VA: Then and Now . Willie Nelson’s Midnight Run music video is also a part of the nifty additions. Commenting on the film in Cannes last May, John Hillcoat noted : “There are a lot of parallels to today with the economic crisis, today’s Mexican cartels, heroin in New York, crack and cocaine in the ’80s and the war on drugs. All this feeds back to Prohibition in the ’30s.” Lawless opened with just over $10 million in its opening weekend theatrical release in late August, and has taken in over $36.27 million through last weekend.
