Her songs are catchy – will her products catch on too? Rising music star Ke$ha is now the brand ambassador for the Baby-G women’s Casio watches. Appropriate, you could say, for the singer of “Tik Tok.” Yesterday, the dollar-signed one even made a special appearance at The Manhattan Center for the Casio press conference and to reveal her latest ad . Given previous Ke$ha pictures we’ve seen, we half expected the campaign to feature her looking unkempt and mostly unclothed. What a surprise! Now if only they could improve her ability to sing live the way they can touch up a pic with Photoshop, Ke$ha would be ready for world domination … TOUGH AND COOL : Ke$ha is both. And hopefully punctual .

Stephanie Pratt and Josh Hansen have broken up, and somewhat contentiously. In other news, Stephanie Pratt was dating a dude named Josh Hansen. Just kidding, we did know that. Because we watched The Hills ‘ final season despite recommendations of our psychiatrists, we knew they were dating. Amazingly, even after the revelation that by and large, The Hills is fake, that part was apparently real. Stephanie and Josh did begin seeing each other. It’s all over now, though. The sister of Spencer Pratt and the motocross racer “went their separate ways,” her rep confirms. Yes, Steph has a rep. Whatever triggered the breakup, Josh was not pleased. Josh Hansen and Stephanie Pratt in happier times . “Another dysfunctional move by Stephanie pratt,” Hansen Tweeted . “I was under the impression u had to be someones bf in order to get dumped.” Ohhh, snap. In response to that Tweet, the always intelligent Stephanie reported: “No josh Hansen u were dumped so stop acting like a child.” “Keep star [expletive] ur (sic) way into Hollywood. Now pls GO AWAY!!!!!!” A rep for Hansen says he and The Hills hanger-on were never an official item and that the racer is “moving on.” Looks like he’s making good on that, since the dude’s been Tweeting at Girls Next Door star Holly Madison fairly regularly. The Mel Gibson tapes are just insane. They’d be absolutely wild, disturbing stuff from any person, let alone one of the biggest movie stars in history. That said, two big questions remain unanswered: 1. Did he actually abuse Oksana Grigorieva , as she alleges? 2. What the HELL made him so crazy?! Investigators probing Mel for domestic violence are examining a secret email he sent Oksana that may offer an explanation for his erratic behavior. The email, sent the day after the alleged, violent January 6 confrontation with his then-girlfriend, reads: “The tranqullizers (sic) only make me nuts.” Is this an apparent reference to pharmaceutical drug use ? “Tranquilizers” could refer to any number of things, from depressants used to treat anxiety and insomnia to drugs aiding substance withdrawal. The actor was trying to quit smoking then, and on February 18, when ALL the now-infamous Mel Gibson phone calls were recorded by Oksana. If authentic, the email obtained today by Radar Online could shed new light on the psychological state of the troubled star and his pure rage . The message was supposedly retrieved from Oksana’s phone and computer, confiscated as part of the criminal probe underway involving Gibson. Mel supposedly sent the email January 7 at 9:39 a.m. The night before, Oksana has claimed, Mel punched her while she was holding baby Lucia. Mel’s lawyers have never addressed the tapes or his comments, but say that he ever struck Oksana Grigorieva and have accused her of extortion. Eleven minutes after he sent that, Mel apologetically wrote again, pleading with her to call so he could tell her “how unspeakably sorry” he was.
