Here we go again: A pregnant reality star who dated Mel Gibson briefly during the summer is telling friends that the actor is the father of her unborn baby. Laura Bellizzi, 35, and Gibson, 55, denied the claim when contacted for comment, and a source close to Gibson insists that it’s “physically impossible.” Unless Mel got “fixed” after the Oksana Grigorieva debacle, we’re not sure what that means. In any case, he says it’s not true. Radar says otherwise . A supposedly close insider says that Laura Bellizzi has already confided to friends that Mel is the baby daddy, but does not want the big news to go public. “Laura’s being as secretive as she can be about it,” the source said. “But she’s really showing now, and people are beginning to ask: ‘Who’s the daddy?’” The well-placed source says Laura, who appeared on VH1’s Secrets of Aspen in 2010, is more than four months pregnant. She and Mel dated this summer. “Laura and Mel met through mutual friends in Malibu; the chemistry was instant,” a source said. A family member says the baby has “a famous father.” Mel has seven kids with his estranged wife, Robyn Moore, and a daughter, Lucia, from his relationship with Russian pianist/singer/gold digger Grigorieva. As Mariah Yeater proved, you can’t believe every baby mama coming out of the woodwork. Although in Mel’s case, it clearly wouldn’t be the first time.

It finally is all over between Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva , who settled their custody dispute in court. But there is a lingering disagreement on one point. Despite Mel Gibson’s no contest plea to battery last week, Oksana Grigorieva plans to file a lawsuit alleging battery, emotional distress and defamation. Sources close to Gibson say he will wage legal war if Oksana does so. Forget settling out of court … it is ON like legal Donkey Kong this time around. The actor will “gladly” file his own lawsuit against the woman he says put a $15 million price on the Mel Gibson tapes in return for keeping quiet. It could be just beginning for Mel and Oksana … Oksana’s lawyer, Daniel Horowitz, said “our position hasn’t changed” regarding Mel’s no contest plea and her plans to sue for myriad damages. This looming lawsuit likely played a huge role in Mel’s no contest plea on misdemeanor battery charges, for which he will serve no jail time. Pleading no contest subjected him to similar sentencing as a plea of guilty, but there was no admission of guilt that will bolster her claims. No decision has been made yet, but sources report that Mel Gibson is likely to be charged with domestic violence in an alleged attack on Oksana Grigorieva. At the same time, Oksana, who Mel alleges tried to bilk him out of millions by lording his taped rants over his head, is likely to be off the hook for extortion. The question complicating an already confusing, drawn-out mess of a case is whether L.A. County District Attorney Steve Cooley should even be involved. Is the D.A. biased by a connection to Oksana’s lawyer? The D.A.’s office will soon decide the fate of Oksana and Mel, but critics are pointing to fundraisers he attended on his own behalf as questionable. Why? The lawyer who negotiated Oksana’s $15 million settlement – which she left on the table, and is at the core of the extortion investigation – is Eric George. George, a prominent Beverly Hills civil lawyer, hosted both campaign fundraisers last year, while the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department was investigating. George contributed more than $8,000 to Cooley in 2010 …
Mel Gibson isn’t nearly as worried about being charged with domestic violence as he is about his baby mama NOT being charged with extortion, TMZ reports. Either Mel believes he won’t face a domestic violence charge or he just feels that strongly Oksana Grigorieva tried to bilk him, but that’s where his mind is. He believes there is more than enough evidence to prove Oksana used the explosive Mel Gibson rants as leverage to score a $15 million payday last May. MOTHER OF ALL BREAKUPS : They don’t get any worse than this . However, he fears politics of prosecution could get in the way. As for the alleged violence, he claims he only slapped her once – to protect their daughter. Oksana’s ex Timothy Dalton may testify against Gibson, reports suggest, but the credibility of Oksana has been called into question on many occasions. The D.A. is currently mulling over the two case files, with the investigation having wrapped last week. So far, no decision has been made regarding either. The Sheriff’s Department’s investigation is over, but sources say the Mel Gibson case is not heading toward a resolution, or even a decision on charges, soon. The L.A. County D.A. will not make a quick decision on whether to charge Mel and/or Oksana Grigorieva with a crime, at least not this week. TMZ reports. The reason? This is a really, really complicated case! It’s unclear if either Mel or Oksana will be charged . The L..A. County Sheriff’s Dept. turned over a full report on the Oksana Grigorieva extortion investigation. There are two separate investigations in play, too. Because of the alleged extortion, the Mel Gibson tapes , her accusation of domestic abuse and myriad custody issues, the report will take time to digest. The D.A. has said they will make a decision on whether to file criminal charges as a package, but that the decision absolutely will not be made this week. Whose side are you on?

Oksana Grigorieva’s former bodyguard Kristian Herzog has completed a tell-all book about his former employer and her explosive relationship with Mel Gibson. Herzog, who claims he nailed Oksana, but that she basically lied about all things Mel, is now hoping he can land a book deal, and is shopping around a draft. The convicted criminal, who was once accused of impersonating a police officer, was set to be deposed by Mel this week but postponed that due to illness. TEAM MEL : Kristian Herzog is ready to throw Oksana under the bus . Kristian working with Oksana during a particularly turbulent time in her life – shortly after the January 6, 2010, incident in which she claims Mel attacked her. “Kristian thinks there is a big market for a book, and he thinks he is the one that should spill the beans about Oksana and Mel’s relationship,” says a source . “He is trying to do whatever he can to insert himself into this mess, and [Kristian Herzog] is adamant that he had an intimate relationship with Oksana.” Credible witness? Maybe not. Entertaining and enterprising? You know it! Herzog was formally subpoenaed by Mel’s legal team recently. Gibson, accused of domestic abuse, wants Herzog to admit Oksana exaggerated her claims. When he is deposed, “Herzog can be expected to be grilled by both Oksana and Mel’s lawyers. He has changed his story multiple times,” the source says. His motives are suspect. Herzog has an ax to grind with Oksana Grigorieva , insiders believe, because she fired him when she became aware of his past. Basically … who knows. But it should be interesting to watch unfold.
