Derrick Rose’s Son Has A Budding Modeling Career Congratulations are in order for Derrick Rose and his son Derrick Rose, Jr. AKA PJ . The soon-to-be four-year-old, who is the only son of Rose and Mieka Reese, was just featured on People.com for his collaboration with the Bullies Brand in honor of of National Bullying Prevention Month this October which aims to prevent bullying in schools and put an end to bullying. “We want to help our celebrities set an example for all their fans by incorporating a charitable component to each business we build together,” reads the Bullies Brand website. “Whether we donate a portion of our sales, our time, or our resources, we always contribute to a cause that resonates deeply with each of the celebrities we work with.” The PJ Rose/Bullies Brand clothing items retail for $13 to $35 and you can find them online at bulliesbrand.com The flair for fashion comes runs in the family, Reese has an brand called Rich Girl Candy. She says PJ works with her on her ideas and is enthusiastic about his modeling career. “PJ has a love for modeling along with a huge and spunky personality,” his mom says. “When in front of the camera, he is poised and focused. It’s crazy because it isn’t his mom pushing PJ, it’s PJ pushing himself to model.” She adds, “Being on set with PJ is a lot of fun, he loves to interact with people!” “PJ’s style is super sporty, even when he has to wear a suit he tries to add a little flavor and put on sneakers,” Reese tells PEOPLE exclusively of her son, “He loves to wear bright colors, and stays on or in front of current fashion trends.” Reese also said that PJ enjoys plenty of hobbies outside of modeling: “PJ’s hobbies are playing basketball, soccer [and] puzzle games on his iPad, and going to the park,” Reese says.
