Justin Timberlake has posted an open letter on his website to both apologize for a wedding video that made the rounds on the Internet this week, and also to clarify a few points regarding it. The video in question depicts homeless people wishing Justin and his new bride, Jessica Biel, well on their nuptials – and many have reacted harshly to the mockery of the subjects on film. Justin Timberlake Wedding Video “I think we can all agree that it was distasteful,” Timberlake writes, adding: “I was always taught that we as people, no matter what your race, sex, or stature may be, are equal.” JT goes on to say: The video was NOT actually shown at the wedding. He had “ZERO” contribution to it. His friends behind it are “good people” who simply showed a “lapse in judgment” in this case. Concludes the artist: “I do understand the reaction and, by association, I am holding myself accountable. “Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my thoughts. It really is a blessing to be able to speak directly to my true fans so that you can know exactly where I stand.”
