Sorry brothas ! Katherine Webb Marries University Of Alabama QB AJ McCarron Via US Weekly reports: Katherine Webb and AJ McCarron are hitched! The former Miss Alabama USA-turned-model married the athlete at the Orange Beach United Methodist Church in Orange Beach, Alabama on Saturday, July 12, her rep confirms to Us Weekly. The blushing bride counted down the hours before saying “I do” via her Instagram on Friday. “Getting close @amberlysheltonpaperie,” Webb wrote, along with a picture of the couple’s wedding invitation. In a second photo, she showed off their wedding bands. “Ready for tomorrow! Thank you to @mascreativeconsulting.” PHOTOS: Quickest celebrity engagements Webb, 25, first made headlines while cheering on her quarterback hubby, 24, during an Alabama and Notre Dame game at the second BCS National Championship last January. As fans kept their eyes on the field, ESPN commentator Brent Musburger commented on her looks during live TV. “You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women,” he joked in the booth. Musburger later apologized, but Webb didn’t seem to mind. The attention helped her land a feature in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue that same month. In March, she accepted McCarron’s proposal. “WE’RE ENGAGEDDD!!! @10AJMcCarron,” she gushed via Twitter, along with a picture of her new diamond ring. She added: “He designed it himself.” Congrats to the beautiful couple!

Filmmaker Jennifer Lynch knows a thing or two about battling the MPAA — her 1993 debut Boxing Helena earned the ratings board’s dreaded NC-17 for its sexualized violence and general depravity — and so it seems just like old times that her latest effort, Chained , faces the same fate for “some explicit violence.” But wait: Isn’t violence supposed to fly with the ratings board while sex gets the adults-only rating? What gives? Actually, look no further than the film’s NSFW trailer for your answer. On the one hand, I wouldn’t put it past distributor Anchor Bay to pull a Harvey special and exploit Chained ‘s Vincent D’Onofrio serial-killing kidnapper menace for maximum ratings “controversy.” On the other, publicity stunts aside, this just looks… heinous : Anyway, no release date has been set, and Anchor Bay can always turn around and release the film unrated, which is basically regarded the same as an NC-17 by skittish mainstream theaters, so for now it’s just a conversation piece with straight-to-video written all over it. Most recently, he entered the spirits business, with a cognac called Conjure hitting the top shelf. And now, it seems his latest his latest endeavor is having quite an effect on his art. The Battle of the Sexes star told MTV News his next video, for “Sex Room,” would be inspired by 2010 MTV Movie Awards nominee “The Hangover.” “The ‘Sex Room’ video will be on your tube very soon and on the Internet,” Luda said on the red carpet for KIIS-FM’s annual Wango Tango festival in Los Angeles over the weekend. “We got two different versions, one just for the adults and one for the kids. We did it out in Las Vegas, what better way to do it, me and Trey Songz, it’s pretty self-explanatory. The concept is kind of like ‘The Hangover’ theme, just like the movie. You gotta check it out.” “Sex Room” features Trey Songz, and is the third single from Luda’s latest effort, Battle of the Sexes, which earlier this year debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. While the album is the Atlanta MC’s seventh, it’s his first concept-driven collection. In February he explained the idea behind it to MTV News, saying it was originally slated to be a duets album featuring ‘Cris and former Disturbing Tha Peace artist Shawnna before it morphed into a free-for-all for female MCs. “It’s such a male-dominated industry that I feel like females need more of a voice, so we wanted to hear more of what the hell they had to say,” Luda said. “With that being said, I went out and got women from the past, the present and the future — everyone from Lil Kim, Eve, Trina, Nicki Minaj .
