HBO announced Tuesday morning the final season will air in April but with no actual date, so we know that we at atleast have five more months to go. The network also gave fans a promotional video for season 8. The catch is that it does not contain any new footage, so it’s not a season 8 trailer. However, the video does tease all of the conflict we have seen the characters go through and build up to their final confrontation with the White Walkers. So in short, it sets the stage for the final season by getting you excited with old but fan-favorite scenes and quotes, plus that classic music that we love! WENN.com Scott Wilson Dies A member of the “Walking Dead” cast has died. Scott Wilson passed away this week at age 76. Reps for the veteran actor who has more than 50 movie credits told TMZ that he passed away from leukemia complications. Wilson was most recently known for his role as Hershel Greene on “The Walking Dead.” “The Walking Dead” confirmed his passing via a statement. “The character he embodied on ‘The Walking Dead,’ Hershel, lived at the emotional core of the show,” the statement read. “Like Scott in our lives, Hershel was a character whose actions continue to inform our characters’ choices to this day. Our hearts go out to his wife, family, friends and to the millions of fans who loved him. Scott will be missed.” So sad, R.I.P. Scott Wilson.
For Bert and Ernie, it really is a sunny day. At last, the clouds that have covered up their sexuality have been swept away and they can live a life of true freedom and personal expression. Because the long-held belief by most Sesame Street viewers has finally been confirmed… … Bert and Ernie are gay. Shocking, right? Totally stunning, no? Who ever would have thought such a thing about two males who sleep in the same room, play with the same rubber ducky and seemingly cannot go anywhere or do a single thing without having the other one around. In an interview with Queerty, writer Mark Saltzman said he has often drawn upon his own experiences when telling the televised stories of Bert and Ernie. A seven-time Emmy winner, Saltzman explains that he has always imagined the puppets as a “loving couple” and that he has based his take on them on his relationship with Arnold Glassman. “I always felt that without a huge agenda, when I was writing Bert & Ernie, they were [gay],” he says, adding in this interview; “I didn’t have any other way to contextualize them. The other thing was, more than one person referred to Arnie & I as ‘Bert & Ernie.'” Saltzman continued with this theme as follows: “Arnie as a film editor — if you thought of Bert with a job in the world, wouldn’t that be perfect? Bert with his paper clips and organization? And I was the jokester,” he said. “So it was the Bert and Ernie relationship, and I was already with Arnie when I came to Sesame Street. “So I don’t think I’d know how else to write them, but as a loving couple. I wrote sketches … Arnie’s OCD would create friction with how chaotic I was. And that’s the Bert and Ernie dynamic.” For the record, Saltzman did not create these puppets. They made their debut on the children’s program in 1969 and Saltzman did not start writing for the series until 1985. Back in 2011, Sesame Street responded to the question of Bert and Ernie’s sexual orientation by shooting down chatter that they were hooking up . “Bert and Ernie are best friends,” Sesame Workshop said in a statement responding to a Change.org petition demanding the characters get married. It added seven years ago: “They were created to teach preschoolers that people can be good friends with those who are very different from themselves. “Even though they are identified as male characters and possess many human traits and characteristics, they remain puppets, and do not have a sexual orientation.” In June of 2013, however, The New Yorker used a photo of Bert and Ernie on its cover upon reporting that the Supreme Court had shot down a couple anti-gay marriage policies. So the topic of whether Bert and Ernie were getting it on has always been a question within pop culture. That question appears to have been answered now, leaving only two more Sesame Street-related inquiries to ponder: What gender is Big Bird? And why does Bert have one giant eyebrow, while Ernie has none?

At the time, that was the only detail that was released. But now we have a name. A truly unique, precious name. Welcome to the world, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher!!! We also now know that little Dimitri was born at 1:21 A.M., and he weighed 8 pounds and 15 ounces. The couple also released a brief statement that read “We’d like our kids to have a choice on whether to have a life in the public eye or not.” “We don’t want to make the choice for them.” So yeah, it pretty much goes without saying, but there’s no photo of the new baby. And judging by the situation with Mila and Ashton’s older child, Wyatt, who was born on October 1st, 2014, it’ll probably be a good long while before we get one. When Wyatt was born, they shared a series of baby photos and invited people to guess which kid was theirs , and then that December, some creeper leaked photos of the family from their Christmas card . And then last November, Ashton posted a photo of a little girl who would be roughly Wyatt’s age, but he never confirmed that it was her. And now that baby Dimitri is here, we didn’t even get another guessing game — just a statement about privacy. So, tragically enough, it could be years before we get a glimpse at this surely beautiful baby. We know, we know, it doesn’t seem fair that we’d have to suffer like that. As you’ve likely heard by now, Kanye West was hospitalized last week after suffering a psychological breakdown. As is usually the case with this sort of thing, rumors about the nature and severity of his condition have been circulating non-stop, but confirmed details remain scarce. So far, we know for certain that the rapper required nine days of in-patient care and that his release date was postponed at least once to allow for additional treatment. Now, Kanye is out of the hospital but still under the supervision of 24-hour medical staff. It’s been widely rumored that his erratic and possibly dangerous behavior has put a strain on his marriage to Kim Kardashian, and now People magazine is confirming that Kim and Kanye are indeed living in separate homes. The move is said to be primarily a safety precaution, but there have been multiple reports that Kardashian and West were headed for divorce in the weeks leading up to his hospitalization. “He is receiving outpatient care else with a medical team,” a source tells the magazine. “Kim still seems concerned but is supportive. They don’t know for how long Kanye will need outpatient care.” The insider says Kim is concerned for the safety of her children, who have reportedly not seen West since the day he was admitted. “She is very worried about the kids being around Kanye,” says the source, adding that they did not accompany her on her visits to the hospital. The family threw an early birthday party for Kim’s son Saint on Wednesday, but Kanye was not in attendance. The unidentified family friend claims that the future of Kim and Kanye’s relationship is unclear, but adds that both parties hope to move forward as a couple. “There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply,” the insider says.
