Matt Fiddes, Former Michael Jackson Bodyguard, Says MJ Tried to Have Brother Randy Killed

Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard Matt Fiddes claims that the late King of Pop once tried to have members of his inner circle kill Randy Jackson. His brother, not the portly American Idol personality of the same name. In the interview with The Sun (UK), Fiddes claims that Michael was intensely paranoid and “caught in a war with his brothers for years, They were all desperate to sign him up to a $500 million deal for a Jackson 5 reunion tour.” Fiddes explained that the eccentric Michael eventually grew fearful of his sibling. “Things reached a head when Randy was trying to force his way past the bodyguards to speak to him in one of his rented homes. Michael ordered him to be shot .” Of course, no one shot Randy, who is alive and (presumably) well right now. Fiddes adds, “[Michael] was out of mind on drugs and luckily Randy was OK.” “Randy was so scared he got on the phone and threatened to call the press. He told the bodyguards, ‘If you shoot me the whole world will know about it.'” Fiddes also claims MJ despised Madonna and poked holes in a Voodoo doll of Steven Spielberg. None of his accusations have been corroborated. [Photo: WENN.com]

John Travolta Accuser: I Can Prove It!

The man suing John Travolta for sexual battery is responding to the actor’s denials, saying he can in fact prove the salacious behavior took place. Marty Singer, Travolta’s lawyer, says the lawsuit from the anonymous masseur is totally unfounded, as John wasn’t even in town at the time. Despite his claim that Travolta was not in L.A. January 16, and that the suit is “ complete fiction and fabrication ,” John Doe tells a different story. “I have proof to support the truth that I’m telling,” he said. Much like his name, he won’t reveal specific details … yet. Singer’s claim that John Doe would “regret” filing the lawsuit incensed the masseur, who says, “It is not for Mr. Singer to deny me my right.” “I represent the 99 percent of the population, the working class, and I was put in an inappropriate situation that I didn’t put myself in.”

Kid Rock’s Waffle House Brawl Results In $40,000 Payout

Jury awards compensatory damages in restaurant scrap. By Mawuse Ziegbe Kid Rock Photo: Frank Micelotta/Getty Images for VH1 On Friday (September 17), a jury awarded $40,000 to the man who sued Kid Rock after the star and his entourage sparked a brawl in 2007, according to The Associated Press. The sum was awarded to Harlen Akins, who initially sought $6,000 in medical fees and an unspecified amount of punitive damages. Punitive damages were not awarded, but Akins will receive $40,000 in compensatory damages. Rock will not shoulder the entire amount and is only responsible for 15 percent. Guitarist Jason Krause will pay the majority of the sum, 70 percent, because he was found to have lobbed the first punch. Rock’s personal assistant James Murphy will dole out 10 percent, and his executive assistant Brian Lang will pay 5 percent. Rock (born Robert James Ritchie) and his crew were sued by Akins following a scuffle at an Atlanta-area Waffle House three years ago. The fight apparently broke out after Akins exchanged words with a woman accompanying Rock’ s entourage. The rocker testified Thursday that he never physically assaulted Akins but did rail at him. “I gave it to him verbally. I said, ‘Shut your mouth, man,’ ” Rock said. The star insisted Akins insulted the entourage member while Akins maintained that he was speaking to the woman about text messages and phone calls he received from her. “I still don’t even know what did I say to him to start this jumping on me,” Akins said in court. Both Rock and Akins have admitted to being intoxicated at the time of the incident. Akins’ lawyer said he and his client were pleased with the verdict. “We feel vindicated and we are very satisfied,” Eric Hertz said. Rock’s lawyer insisted the case was all about securing a major windfall from the multiplatinum-selling rapper. “As far as we were concerned, it was just about money,” said William Horton, who represented Rock and his entourage. Rock was previously sentenced to a year of probation and fined $1,000 in 2008 for his involvement in the restaurant clash. Related Artists Kid Rock
