From the moment Julie Chen introduced us to the Celebrity Big Brother house, it was clear this was going to be a season like no other. Julie wasted no time in introducing us to the houseguests. They are Metta World Peace, Ariadna Guiterrez, Ross Mathews, Brandi Glanville Mark McGrath, Omarosa, Marissa Jaret Winokur, James Maslow, Keshia Knight Pulliam, and Shannon Elizabeth. Yeah, it’s clear the producers scraped the bottom of the barrel with some of them, but Omarosa made it clear from the get-go that she was in the house to play. Her dress was just too much, but it showed she did not care about what the others thought of her. Omarosa wanted to have an all-female alliance to get the men out. In doing so, it revealed a glaring flaw in the format. There were six females and five males when the season kicked off. It’s certainly an odd number. Before Brandi entered the house, her stylist said she would need to keep her mouth shut, or she ran the risk of becoming an early target. She did not take that to heart and immediately started dragging James Maslow for speaking about his vocal range. Brandi felt like Mark McGrath should have been speaking about vocal range because he was in the business for a longer time. This rattled James, who told Mark he needed to win HOH and put up Brandi. Omarosa spoke to Shannon about creating an alliance with the ladies, and it became a reality a few scenes later. The men were too busy messing around to notice the women becoming a force to be reckoned with. At the HOH competition, Omarosa won immunity from the first eviction, and it allowed her to step out of the competition for the week. The houseguests had to hold on to a supersized award for dear life. The women dominated the competition, and it came down to James and Shannon. James was visibly struggling and tried to cut a deal with Shannon to keep him safe, but Omarosa interjected, saying that James was close to falling so a deal would be unfair to Shannon. In a confessional, Omarosa dished that she knew she did not want to align with James and that’s why she shut down the dealmaking during the competition. Shannon won the first HOH of the season, but Julie dropped a bomb of epic proportions on the houseguests. They all had to pick a gift that would have some Big Brother swag or a game-changing twist. That twist would allow the lucky recipient to overthrow the HOH and become the one in power for that week. James knew the odds were stacked against him, but the episode concluded before we got down to it. What did you think of the opener? Will you continue watching? Hit the comments below! Alliances in the Big Brother house are changing. With Paulie as HOH, it meant that the plan to take Frank out of the game would have have to wait for at least one more week. Paulie is currently solid with Nicole, Corey, Zakiyah and Michelle, so there was no way he was putting either of them on the block. He was part of the plan last week to keep Tiffany in the game, but everyone who kept her regretted the decision. Frank found a way to get Tiffany on his side and the two enemies are now in cahoots with one another. This alliance obviously came out of nowhere, but it kind of makes sense. Who would expect those two to be working together? Frank even done damage control with Da’vonne, but it’s clear that he’s still gunning for her. Paulie nominated Natalie and Tiffany for eviction. Tiffany is his target. He doesn’t trust a word she says, so he and his alliance agree that it’s time to target her and stick with it. Tiffany then won her first competition. Yes, the Road Kill! After deliberating with Frank about who to put up, she went with Corey. This doesn’t come as a surprise because he’s a big player, but she kept her win quiet and it has the rest of the house wondering who could have won. Frank will no doubt use her win to his advantage further down the line. Corey informed Natalie that if he won the veto he would take her off so that the winner of the Road Kill didn’t have a say in who would be the replacement nominee. Natalie was ecstatic, but would he really follow through with his plan? Corey did win the veto, but we don’t know what he will do? We’ll find out the answer on Monday. This has been a hugely entertaining weekend on the live feeds. What do you think about the latest drama? Hit the comments below! View Slideshow: 13 Most Toxic Relationships in Reality TV History

Bachelor Pad. It’s the best/worst. If you thought the people on this program weren’t the sharpest tools in the shed before, the Spelling Bee last night confirmed that and then some. Also confirmed Monday night? Certain people have no self-respect and others get far too emotional about a show based around voting people off. Did Chris Bukowski live to fight another day? Did Blakeley Jones cry about it? Who got the heave-ho? Find out in THG’s Bachelor Pad recap! From now on, they will compete as couples, meaning Rachel had to get over Michael’s elimination and pair up with Nick … who’s still on the show? Plus 10 . Soon it’s time for the spelling bee, in which each duo had to spell their designated word by alternating letters. Can get kind of confusing at times, so Plus 5 . Minus 390 for some of the words these people missed, though, and for the manner in which they did so, omitting entire syllables and such. Almost scary. It came down to Ed and Jaclyn vs. Sarah and Chris, and after an eternity of botched efforts, the latter pair won this war of attrition and the roses. Plus 20 . Blakeley cried that Chris will not be sent home. It was awesome. Plus 10 . The winning couple got an overnight date at a Barn Hoedown, which was 1. really nice, and 2. an appropriately-named venue for Bachelor Pad. Plus 15 . Sarah Newlon actually seems pretty cool. Not clear why she and every other girl are THAT smitten with Chris, but they make a pretty cute duo. Plus 10 . Chris says he still reflects on his time with Emily Maynard and came on the show focused solely on money. We’ll buy it. The breakup is still fresh. Plus 5 . Ed and Jaclyn also got an overnight date (on California’s Channel Islands) and made sure to bring up yet again that he’s not interested in her. Minus 10 . It’s hard to get a read on Ed Swiderski. On the one hand, he was very up front and honest about the woman he’s been pursuing back home, so Plus 20 . On the flip side, it seems like he’s trying to finesse the situation so he can still bone Jaclyn but not have her get too attached, which is seedy. Minus 30 . Minus 240 more since it totally works. Come on Jaclyn. Could you be any more pathetic than trying to force him into declaring you’re a couple? UGH. Back at the house, the alliance was struggling with what to do next. You know, since the alliance was comprised of everybody but Chris/Sarah. Plus 5. Rachel was quick to volunteer herself and Nick for elimination, acting like Michael was dead and that she had no reason to go on living there. Minus 20 . Jaclyn and Ed each had a rose that they were able to give out – they couldn’t save themselves – and presented them to Blakeley and Tony. Plus 10 . Their options narrowed, the gang sent home Lindzi Cox and Kalon McMahon. Fortunately, they have each other, professing love in the limo. Plus 100 . EPISODE TOTAL: -480! SEASON TOTAL: -790!
