Tori Spelling Is Too Poor To Join The Real Housewives!

It’s a bittersweet day to be Tori Spelling. She delivered a weirdly fantastic meta portrayal of herself on the premier of  BH90210 . The series is already garnering praise for its unique premise. Hopefully for Tori, that eases the sting of being told there’s no way she’s going to be a  Real Housewife . While appearing on Sirius XM’s  The Jenny McCarthy Show , Tori revealed that she wants to be one of  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . What’s more, she’s pretty bummed out that Bravo hasn’t approached her to join the show. “They never asked me,” Tori confessed, “and it actually makes me really sad.” We could see why Tori might make an interesting addition to the cast. She made a decent case for her eligibility on  Jenny McCarthy . “I was born in Beverly Hills,” she said, “so I have one thing going for me.” Tori added, “I’m married with a lot of kids.” “Drama follows me everywhere,” she insisted. She’s right about that. Unfortunately, Tori is just going to have to let this dream go. An inside source confirmed to  Radar Online that Bravo has zero interest in bringing Tori aboard. “Tori is 100 percent correct,” the source told  Radar , “She was never asked to be on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills .” “She’s not a good fit,” the source added. Tori wouldn’t be the only celeb to have a run as a  Housewife . Denise Richards and Lisa Rinna currently appear on  Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Tori even knows  some of the cast members, but Radar’s  source insists they “are not part of the same clique.” ” The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast isn’t running into Tori Spelling,” reports the insider. The source explains, “The cast is full of actresses who have set the bar high with bringing the drama.” They continue, “Tori doesn’t have a thick enough skin to play ball with  The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast.” Whoever this insider is, they are dragging Tori  hard . The source even added that Tori isn’t “rich” or “A-list” enough to make the cut. Ouch. In Tori’s defense, nobody on  Real Housewives is A-list, so let’s dial it back a bit, mystery insider. But they’re right about Tori’s relative lack of funds. The 46-year-old’s financial troubles have been a huge source of drama for her these past few years. She’s still embroiled in a lawsuit with City National Bank, who’ve sued her for over $200K for failing to pay a loan. And Tori was visibly irritated when her latest interview on  Good Day New York took an awkward turn toward her finances. Tori may (or may not) be struggling with money, but we still think they could make a decent reality series about her life. Oh wait, that already happened like three times. And she’s guest-starred on tons of other series. She even turned out to be the unicorn this year on  The Masked Singer . With that in mind, you almost wonder what she needs  Real Housewives for anyways. Overall, Tori seems to be doing fine. Maybe even better than usual. For her sake, we hope  BH90210 takes off, and keeps up the momentum from that promising premiere. It’s nice to see Tori with an income that isn’t based upon family money or how many kids she has. Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott: Getting Sober to Save Their Marriage?!

Even though that their marriage seems to be one long rough patch, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are still together after 12 years. This despite the fact that Dean’s been caught cheating  on multiple occasions and the two of them don’t even really seem to like each other. Lately, it’s Tori and Dean’s money troubles that have grabbed them the most tabloid headlines, and it’s not hard to see why. After all, these aren’t typical celebrity money problems like when Johnny Depp was forced to sell his yacht. No, this is coupon-clipping, mayonnaise sandwich-eating, regular folk poverty. Last year alone, Tori and Dean were sued twice by American Express for separate outstanding debts totaling $87,595 and $37,981, respectively. Add to that the couple’s two federal tax liens for  $707,487 and $184,390, and it’s plain to see that Tori and Dean are pretty screwed. Last year, Spelling and McDermott sold their mansion in posh Calabasas and relocated to the considerably less-posh Encino. But apparently, that wasn’t enough to pull them out of the hole they’re in. Even after taking several severe austerity measures, McDermott was nearly imprisoned for unpaid child support . It’s enough to make outsiders wonder what the hell Tori and Dean are doing wrong. In all likelihood, a combination of factors and circumstances have landed the couple in their current predicament, but those who know them best say the McDermotts’ substance abuse certainly isn’t helping their situation. It’s sort of a chicken-and-egg situation, as Tori’s pill-popping has reportedly worsened in response to her financial woes, but the consensus seems to be that both she and Dean need to sober up before it’s too late. “They know their lives and the lives of their kids are hanging in the balance,” a source close to the pair tells Radar Online. “They have to pull it together before it’s too late.” Being born extremely wealthy is objectively good in most respects, but it doesn’t prepare you for financial difficulties later in life. And it seems Tori is beginning to crack under the pressure. “Tori is losing it, mentally and physically. She’s been depressed, anxious and behaving erratically,” says the source. “She is crying to anyone who will listen that she feels backed up on a ledge.” The insider adds that Tori was prescribed various anti-anxiety medications by her doctor, and has since become addicted to the pills: “Tori has been dependent on the meds,” the informant says. “They were affecting her behavior. She and Dean decided it would be best for her to wean herself off the pills, so she could be 100 percent present for her husband and her children.” For his part, McDermott sobered up in 2014 after decades of alcoholism, but he’s reportedly fallen off the wagon in recent months. “Dean’s drinking led to him cheating on Tori in December 2013,” says the source.  “And this only added to Tori’s stress.” The insider claims that neither Tori and Dean are completely sober yet, but both have taken steps to curtail their substance intake. “Once Tori began to get her meds under control, Dean decided to get sober, too,” said the source. “They know it’s their last chance.” Yeesh. Look, we might make fun of Tori and Dean a lot here, but it sounds like these two are in desperate need of serious help, and we certainly hope they get it. It’s not fun to rip on them unless they have their sh-t at least partially together.

Dean McDermott: I Never Should’ve Married Tori Spelling!

We generally don’t hear much in the way of good news coming from the troubled marriage of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, and today is no exception. The tabloid obsession with the couple began back in 2013 amidst allegations that McDermott had cheated on Spelling with a woman named Emily Goodhand. The interest hasn’t let up in the years since, despite the very real possibility that Goodhand doesn’t exist , and Tori and Dean made the affair up for publicity. Fortunately for the Spelling-McDermotts, 2017 has been loaded with legitimate misfortune, thus sparing them the burden of having to pretend their lives suck. First, Tori and Dean went broke and were forced to suffer the indignity of selling their lavish mansion in Calabasas and relocating to a rental home in considerably less-posh Encino. That was followed by Tori burning her hand by falling and landing on a hibachi at Benihana, which is a situation that it’s okay to laugh at, because she wasn’t seriously injured. If you thought that was the end of Tori and Dean’s misfortune, you don’t know the McDermotts! It turns out creditors aren’t the only ones Tori and Dean have been evading while taking trips and going on shopping sprees. According to his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, Dean hasn’t been paying child support for his teenage son from his first marriage. So not only is she suing Dean, Mary Jo is also giving interviews in which she claims that her ex recently confessed that he regrets leaving her form Spelling back in 2006. “A year and a half ago, Dean confessed to me that he had made a mistake and he wondered what his life would be like if he had he stayed with me,” Eustace recently told UK tabloid The Daily Mail. “He said, ‘Do I love Tori? Yeah. But I’ve thrown my life away.’ It was the most bizarre conversation ever. It made me feel irritated. I don’t want any more drama. It was crazy, extreme behavior.” Eustace has a much healthier relationship with the truth than either Tori or Dean, so we’re inclined to believe her. We’re not sure what her endgame is here, but we’re guessing she wouldn’t mind receiving a long overdue child support check from Mr. McDermott. Take the hint, Dean!

Lifetime Reality Shows: The Ultimate Rankings!

Lifetime is basically known for two things: Very cheesy movies. Reality shows. Perhaps someday we'll take a few months to rundown the best and worst Lifetime movies in history (some of which don't even star Tori Spelling!), but now is the time for us to countdown the top Lifetime reality shows. It's difficult to judge, but we're going from WORST to BEST below… 13. Dance Moms Abby Lee Miller is our lest favorite personality on all of reality television. This ranking may change now that she’s off the series, but she’s done enough to slot it at the back of the pack for awhile. 12. True Tori Spelling and her family moved to Oxygen in 2015, but the scars she left from her earlier run on Lifetime as the subject of this ridiculously scripted nonsense will never go away. 11. Kim of Queens There’s nothing entertaining about child beauty pageant. Or star Kim Gravel. We have no interest in seeing her coach children to children in this weird and gross arena. 10. Married at First Sight A pretty big EFF YOU to the concept of holy matrimony. Based on a hit Danish series, this show featured six people who agree to participate in an extreme experiment: Each covenants legal marriage with a complete stranger. 9. The Rap Game With mentors such as Bow Wow, Rick Ross, Fabolous and Jeezy, The Rap Game pits aspiring artists against each other in a series of fun battles. We like it. 8. Bring It! This is everything Dance Moms could be if Abby Lee Miller didn’t suck so much. It takes us inside the intense, entertaining and competitive world of The Dancing Dolls. View Slideshow

Tori Spelling: Headed to JAIL Over Mounting Debt Issues?!

As you may have heard, Tori Spelling is broke. We don’t mean she’s “forced to sell her yacht to J.K. Rowling, Johnny Depp broke .” (Fun fact: Johnny Depp literally sold his yacht to J.K. Rowling to cover his debts.) We mean she’s “sell the house, default on the credit cards, one step away from welcoming you to Wal-Mart broke.” Tori’s debt is massive, and sources close to the actress say her situation appears to be getting worse by the day. She and husband Dean McDermott are currently buried beneath six figures in credit card debt and back taxes. To make matters worse, McDermott owes thousands in back child support to his first wife, Mary Jo Eustace. Tori and Dean have thus far managed to keep their heads above water, thanks in large part to help from Tori’s wealthy mother. But child support and federal taxes are two of the worst kinds of debt, and the couple’s financial issues may soon become serious legal woes. “All their debts, which just keep growing and growing, have put them so deep in the hole that it seems there may be no way out,” a source close to the couple tells Star magazine. “But what’s truly scary is how much they owe the government. Having their money actually seized shows just how serious their problems are. Tori’s running out of options, and the walls are closing in.” The tabloid spoke with a New York criminal prosecutor who’s prosecuted numerous cases in which wealthy debotrs wind up incriminating themselves with fraudulent claims: “Should Spelling continue to default on paying back the back loan in full, plus interest, the courts have discretion on punishments in situations like that,” attorney Brooke Camhi tells Star .  “While not the likely outcome, jail time certainly would be an option afforded to the court. At the moment this is not a criminal case. But if there is any kind of fraud happening, Tori could do time…” Yes, it seems Tori is not under immediate threat of criminal prosecution, and she’ll likely find a way to keep out of court. (We really can’t overstate how wealthy Tori’s mother is.) Her husband’s situation isn’t quite so encouraging. McDermott’s child support debts have nearly landed him behind bars in the past, and it seems he’s done little to rectify the situation. “He might have weaseled his way out of jail the first time, but if he doesn’t pay Mary Jo wahat he promised, he could still wind up behind bars,” says one insider. Whatever the case, it seems the couple will continue to lean very heavily on the generosity of Tori’s mom, Candy Spelling. “Candy pays [Tori’s] rent, private school tuition for the kids and even stepped up after Tori maxed out her credit cards to buy groceries,” an insider tells Star . “I hear that Tori’s been begging Candy for a $700,000 loan to cover her debts, but she hasn’t agreed to that yet.” We suppose you have to draw the line somewhere. Most parents would’ve cut the cord a few million dollars ago, but everything is relative …

Tori Spelling Owes Bank Over $200,000; Falls Further into Debt

It seems like every time you turn around, Tori Spelling is facing another lawsuit for not paying someone an enormous amount of money. And, well, that’s because it’s true. For the past several months, Tori and her husband, Dean McDermott, have been hit with one lawsuit after another, all because they are absolutely incapable of being responsible with money. We know that they’re in trouble with the IRS , since they reportedly haven’t paid taxes in years. Last July, we learned that they owed the government over $700,000 in taxes, just for 2014. In addition to their IRS issues, Tori and Dean have been sued by their credit card company , American Express. Twice. Back in October, Tori was ordered to pay her overdue balance of nearly $38,000, and then in November, she was sued for an additional $87,000. On top of all that, Dean owes his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, thousands of dollars in unpaid child support. He owed her so much money that he nearly went to jail over the case. Oh, and they also have five children, including a brand new baby they welcomed in March. Sounds like things can’t get any worse, right? If you think that, you obviously don’t have enough faith in Tori Spelling’s ability to fail. Now, in addition to the tax stuff, the credit card lawsuits, and the serious issue with the child support, Tori and Dean owe their bank $220,000. What a nightmare. A terrifying but completely preventable nightmare. Tori and Dean have been dealing with City National Bank for a while now, since they neglected to pay off a $400,000 loan from 2010. They still owe $185,714 on the loan, as well as around $3,000 extra in interest and late charges. The bank also sued for an additional $17,149, which is the amount Tori overdrew back in September. Remember back in college when you overdrew your account by a few dollars and freaked because of the overdraft fees? These are obviously lessons that Tori has never learned. Tori and Dean were required to come to court on May 22nd to respond to the lawsuit, but they didn’t, and that’s how the bank got their $220,000 default judgement . It’s hard to calculate exactly how much debt these two are in right now, but it’s probably safe to say that it’s a whole, whole lot. Those storage units hardly seem worth it now, huh, Tori?
