Dean McDermott: I Never Should’ve Married Tori Spelling!

We generally don’t hear much in the way of good news coming from the troubled marriage of Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, and today is no exception. The tabloid obsession with the couple began back in 2013 amidst allegations that McDermott had cheated on Spelling with a woman named Emily Goodhand. The interest hasn’t let up in the years since, despite the very real possibility that Goodhand doesn’t exist , and Tori and Dean made the affair up for publicity. Fortunately for the Spelling-McDermotts, 2017 has been loaded with legitimate misfortune, thus sparing them the burden of having to pretend their lives suck. First, Tori and Dean went broke and were forced to suffer the indignity of selling their lavish mansion in Calabasas and relocating to a rental home in considerably less-posh Encino. That was followed by Tori burning her hand by falling and landing on a hibachi at Benihana, which is a situation that it’s okay to laugh at, because she wasn’t seriously injured. If you thought that was the end of Tori and Dean’s misfortune, you don’t know the McDermotts! It turns out creditors aren’t the only ones Tori and Dean have been evading while taking trips and going on shopping sprees. According to his ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace, Dean hasn’t been paying child support for his teenage son from his first marriage. So not only is she suing Dean, Mary Jo is also giving interviews in which she claims that her ex recently confessed that he regrets leaving her form Spelling back in 2006. “A year and a half ago, Dean confessed to me that he had made a mistake and he wondered what his life would be like if he had he stayed with me,” Eustace recently told UK tabloid The Daily Mail. “He said, ‘Do I love Tori? Yeah. But I’ve thrown my life away.’ It was the most bizarre conversation ever. It made me feel irritated. I don’t want any more drama. It was crazy, extreme behavior.” Eustace has a much healthier relationship with the truth than either Tori or Dean, so we’re inclined to believe her. We’re not sure what her endgame is here, but we’re guessing she wouldn’t mind receiving a long overdue child support check from Mr. McDermott. Take the hint, Dean!

Dean McDermott: Headed to Jail For Unpaid Child Support?!

We think it’s safe to say Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott aren’t great with money. Despite the fact that Tori is the daughter of one of the most famous moguls in television history, and she and Dean both had relatively successful careers in entertainment at one point, the two of them are nearly always broke. In the past year, Tori and Dean have been sued for unpaid credit card bills on multiple occasions. They recently downgraded from their posh mansion in Calabasas to a considerably less-swanky rental home in nearby Encino. Tori has been reduced to doing informercials  and cameos in Lifetime movies, while Dean … well, Dean is in even worse shape. McDermott has a long history of failing to pay child support to Mary Jo Eustace , the mother of his first child, Jack. In May, he was almost thrown in jail for delinquency, but Eustace graciously allowed him to pay off his debt in small increments of $1,500 so that Dean wouldn’t be forced to do time. To the surprise of absolutely no one, however, Dean has already fallen behind on his payments. Now, Page Six is reporting that Dean is once again facing prison time for failing to make good on his promise to the court. “It’s crazy that all this is over $1,500. He could get a job at the Gap and pay that off every month,” an insider tells the outlet. We think the insider is a little naive in his estimation of how much employees of the Gap get paid, but we see his point. It’s a little crazy that a couple who was worth seven figures just a few short years ago is now struggling to come up with such a relatively small sum. Of course, there are some extenuating circumstances at play here. For one thing, Tori and Dean welcomed their fifth child  back in March, and things and things are reportedly tighter than ever around the Spelling-McDermott household. On top of that, sources close to Dean say he’s been spreading himself thin paying for Jack’s moving expenses so that his son with Eustace could start college this week. “It’s not like it came out of left field,” says the source. “It was late because Dean was paying their son Jack’s first-month rent, security deposit and several other college expenses, which Mary Jo would not contribute to.” Obviously, that’s a Team Dean source, but it’s worth noting the situation may be more complicated than it seems. Still though, the most likely explanation is that Dean’s a deadbeat.

We first learned that Tori Spelling is broke  over a year ago, and at first, the actress seemed to take actions that made sense for someone in dire financial circumstances. She downgraded her home, filed for bankruptcy, and took part in the proudest of washed-up starlet traditions by shilling for a psychic hotline . But it seems Tori was just going through the motions and pretending she knows what it means to be poor, because a lot of the stuff she did after that didn’t make a whole lot of sense – like getting pregnant with her fifth child . Don’t get us wrong – people shouldn’t be forced to forgo having children simply because their struggling financially. But maybe people who are 43, already have four kids, are constantly on the verge of divorce, and are struggling financially should hold off on the breeding for a while. Anyway, the decision has been made, and Tori and Dean McDermott’s family is about to expand by one. Which is something of a frightening thought, as they’re currently not even supporting their own kids. Okay, in fairness Tori and Dean are providing for the four kids that live with them – but not Dean’s teenage son from his first marriage. Page Six is reporting today that Dean’s ex, Mary Jo Eustace, is suing Dean for unpaid child support. Eustace was said to be “livid” when she learned that the couple recently partied at a $40,000 baby shower (hosted by Tori’s mother, Candy Spelling), despite the fact that Dean hasn’t paid child support in over a year. Now, it looks as though Dean’s deadbeat ways could have a criminal penalty. Sources say Eustace is hoping to have McDermott charged with contempt of court for failing to comply with the judge’s previous order. Needless to say, the McDermotts aren’t welcoming baby number five into the most stable of environments. Insiders say the renewed interest in her personal life has given Tori hope for a career revival. Mary Jo Eustace: Paid to Appear on True Tori Season 2! Promised Non-Villain Role!

Mary Jo Eustace, Dean McDermott’s former wife, was reportedly paid $10,000 for her appearance on True Tori Season 2, and even that took some persuading. Not only did it take money, but producers had to promise the original Mrs. McDermott that she won’t be portrayed as any sort of villain, a new report claims. Insiders say Mary Jo Eustace was first “approached by Dean at Tori’s demand to see if there was any interest in coming on the show,” for its second season. “Producers needed a new storyline, and Mary Jo’s name came up.” Eustace didn’t agree immediately, but eventually came around: “At first, Mary Jo said no, but began to talk to Tori. After being offered $10,000, and a promise that she would not be portrayed as the evil ex-spouse, Mary Jo agreed.” Tori Spelling famously hooked up with McDermott when she was married to another man, and he was married to Mary Jo. The cheating pair eventually left their spouses. Now married with four kids of their own, their own union was left in tatters last year when Dean allegedly put it to Emily Goodhand while traveling on business. True Tori Season 2 Premiere Clip – Mary Jo Eustace?! In a True Tori Season 2 promo clip, the two wives talk about him in an awkwardly scripted conversation that, to their credit, does seem fairly genuine. Tori tells her, “You can say ‘I told you so.’” Eustace is forgiving and won’t even go there, noting, “I don’t hate Dean. I mean he’s a total knob. I know that.” “But he’s your knob now.” Spelling also has “ clear ulterior motives in attempting to befriend Mary Jo on camera,” the insider dishes, knowing it’ll give her even more of an upper hand. “She is hoping that this will make her more sympathetic to viewers. Also, it will make Dean look like a fool for cheating on both of them. It’s dysfunction at its best.” That pretty much sums up these two knobs to a T. Mary Jo Eustace: Dean McDermott Is An Alcoholic Drug Addict!

Dean McDermott cheating on Tori Spelling may soon be much lower on the couple’s list of marital troubles.  According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Dean’s ex-wife, Mary Jo Eustace,  accused McDermott of alcoholism, drug addiction and violent fits of anger  during their 2005 divorce proceedings. In sworn testimony, Eustace claimed McDermott’s anger problem was so bad that on their first date she witnessed him violently beating his dog for knocking over a garbage can.  Recalling the incident, Eustace claims, “Dean McDermott repeatedly and violently beat the dog with his fists and a rolled-up newspaper.” Probably would’ve been a deal-breaking moment for most women, but Eustace went on to marry McDermott and have a kid with him. Needless to say he wasn’t the greatest dad: According to Eustace, McDermott once missed a family event attended by her parents and their infant son because he “didn’t feel well.” Halfway through the gathering, however, McDermott walked into the room and tossed a bag of cocaine on a table. He tearfully confessed that he had a cocaine problem and had repeatedly used coke and gotten drunk while alone with his son. Eustace enrolled McDermott in a treatment program, but he began using again shortly after being released. When he divorced Eustace, McDermott made a point of assuring her that he was not under the influence of any drugs other than anti-depressants at the time of his decision. What a guy! Appropriately enough for a Sunday morning, clips from the latest installment of everyone’s favorite Jesus-tinged adventure series, The Chronicles of Narnia , have been released. Older siblings Peter and Susan are gone, replaced by their pug-nosed brat cousin named Eustace, who accompanies Lucy and Edmund Pevensie back to Narnia. I’m sure his bratty behavior will lead to an Aslan-led intervention, but I don’t know if I can handle two-plus hours of listening to him whinge. Check out the clips and judge for yourself!
