As we reported earlier, Jared Fogle has pled guilty to 14 counts of soliciting sex from a minor , and under the terms of his plea deal, the former Subway spokesman will serve 5 years in prison. Fogle’s troubles began last month when his home was raided by federal authorities in connection with a child porn investigation. One would think that as the suspect in such an investigation Fogle would at least temporarily curb his illegal activities. However, Radar Online is now reporting that Fogle continued seeking out teenage sex partners as the FBI was conducting its probe. The site claims that authorities have evidence of Fogle offering two underage girls money in exchange for sex on June 23. The alleged incident occurred more than one month after Fogle’s friend and employee, Russell Taylor, was arrested for secretly filming nude children in his home and producing child porn. Sources say that Fogle would have been aware that he was under investigation at the time, but he was apparently unconcerned about the possibility of getting caught. Earlier today, we learned that Fogle’s wife has filed for divorce in response to the charges. At this point, the best case scenario for the once-popular pitchman is a five-year sentence, but he may receive more than that, if additional charges arise. As you may have heard, Amanda Bynes went through a bit of a rough patch last year. And by “rough patch,” we mean she falsely accused her father of sexually molesting her and was eventually placed on 5150 psychiatric hold after one of the scariest celeb meltdowns in recent memory. Fortunately, Amanda has managed to turn things around and these days she’s in the midst of a transformation that’s downright inspirational. Amanda posted the above photo to her Twitter account last night, and its not the first time she’s stepped out looking fantastic in the past few months. Of course, it’s not just Amanda’s appearance that has us feeling optimistic about her future. The 29-year-old former child star is currently living on her own in West Hollywood (an idea her parents initially opposed) and she’s reportedly planning to attend USC in the fall. “Amanda is doing great,” her attorney said in a recent statement. “She appreciates all of the love and support she receives from family, friends and fans.” Amanda has reportedly told friends that she’s doing her best to avoid areas of LA with heavy paparazzi traffic and has mostly just been hanging out at home. On Wednesday, an Italian court will decide whether to uphold Amanda Knox’s 2009 murder conviction , for which the Washington native was sentenced to 28 years in prison. The 27-year-old Knox was originally found guilty of murdering Meredith Kercher , but the sentence was eventually overturned on appeal. That appeal was later thrown out, and tomorrow, Knox’s co-defendant and former boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, will appear in court to stand trial yet again. Sollecito hopes to convince the court to overturn his 25-year sentence, and sources say that he may attempt to shift the blame to Knox. Sollecito originally provided an alibi for Knox, claiming that the of them were together at his home on the night that Kercher was killed. Now, nearly eight years later, he reportedly plans to retract that story and tell the court that he cannot account for Knox’s whereabouts on the night of the murder. “The defense intends to show that Sollecito has always shown himself to be extraneous to the crime, and that that night he did not move from his own home,” reads a document filed by Sollecito’s attorneys. “However, he cannot rule out that Knox could have gone out.” The defense also emphasizes that Sollecito “had no reason to want the death of Meredith Kercher,” and that “the alleged motives concern only relations between the victim and Amanda Knox, not Sollecito.” Lawyers for Sollecito also intend to remind the court that their client had been dating Knox for less than two weeks at the time of Kercher’s murder. “Raffaele Sollecito was not linked to Amanda Knox from long, deep emotional bonds that could have caused him to give his full adhesion to a criminal act desired by others,” says their latest filing. While Sollecito will be required to attend court tomorrow, Knox remains in Seattle, where she has attempted to move on with her life. Knox got engaged to Colin Sutherland last month, and she currently works in a bookstore and writes theater reviews for the West Seattle Herald.
