Sherien Almufti apparently watched Sunday’s episode of RHOA where Kandi was airing out Phaedra for her alleged relationship with Mr. Chocolate and she decided to comment. “WOW! Sweet scammer love… Apollo Nida’s Fiancee Gets Roasted Over Engagement Ring Joke Apollo Nida’s fiancee recently caught some shade from RHOA fans after she jokingly showed off a janky engagement ring from her incarcerated bae. As previously reported Apollo’s engaged to real estate broker Sherien Almufti… and he recently filed divorce docs against Phaedra Parks —-after she already said their divorce was finalized. Well Sherien recently decided to have some fun on IG and she showed off the “engagement ring” made of paper towels her sweet scammer bae sent her way. “It’s made of the finest prison paper towels in chocolate brown,” she captioned a photo of her janky jewelry. Phaedra’s Divorce Claims May Have Been Phony It looks like Phaedra may not have been keeping it all the way 100 when she claimed that her divorce with jilted jailbird hubby Apollo Nida was finalized. We are all scratching our heads because yesterday Apollo officially filed for divorce requesting joint custody of their two sons and a 50/50 split of all joint assets. (How he can receive any of these things while serving 8 years in the Feds is beyond us, but here we are..). But its obvious that the two were still legally married after Phaedra claimed the papers were filed back in 2014. Apollo may be trying to push to end things officially with Parks so that he can take his relationship with new fianceé ,Sherien Almufti, to the next level.
Back in September of 2014, Apollo Nida turned himself in to begin serving an eight-year sentence on fraud charges. At the time, the sketchy reality star was estranged from Real Housewives of Atlanta fan favorite Phaedra Parks, and we think it’s safe to say she didn’t have any second thoughts about calling it quits before he started his sentence. Nida was late to report to prison because he stopped by Parks’ house to have one last screaming match before heading off to prison. Needless to say, it wasn’t long after Nida began his sentence that Phaedra filed for divorce . Of course, these things can take a while, particularly when there a lot of assets at stake, and one party is rockin’ a federal-orange jump suit. Reps for Phaedra claimed that the divorce was officially over back in 2014, but Parks never confirmed that she was legally single. That all changed in an interview for TMZ’s YouTube channel posted moments ago: Phaedra Parks on Apollo Nida: We’re Through! Asked if she’s talked to Apollo recently, Phaedra replied: “We are parents together, so we talk frequently.” Parks added, however, that her divorce is definitely final, and she’s not looking back. Asked if she misses Nida, Parks replied simply, “No.” Asked if she can imagine the two of them getting back together, Parks was similarly blunt: “I never say never, but in this case, I don’t think that would be a possibility,” she said. “At the end of the day, we have our kids together. We’ll always have our kids together, so we’ll always be friends.” At one point Apollo complained about not seeing his kids for several months at a time, but for now at least, it seems he’s out of luck in that regard. When Phaedra was asked about the possibility of bringing the kids for another visit, she replied: “I can’t say what I’m gonna do, but at this point in time, it’s not in our schedule.” Harsh. But hey, recent reports indicate Nida may qualify for early release . In fact, he could be hanging with his kids on the outside as early as … 2019. We guess the lesson here is don’t mess with Phaedra.
Peter Thomas Wanted For Questioning In Bar Fight Case Is Peter Thomas about to join his friend Apollo Nida in the slammer? After a patron at his Sports One bar and lounge claimed that Peter tossed him into a table earlier this month, Peter denied the charges. However, cops aren’t so sure that the case is cut and dried… Via TMZ : Peter Thomas isn’t in the clear for an alleged bar brawl in his Charlotte sports bar — investigators want to have a sit down with him to get his side of the story. Cops issued a criminal summons on Monday for the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star. As we first reported, Brandon Link claimed Peter attacked him during a business meeting at Sports One, which Peter and Cynthia Bailey own. Link claims Peter threw him into a table … but Peter claims Brandon was belligerent and only injured himself by slipping on ice outside the bar. Cops responded, and made no arrests but they continue to investigate. Peter has not been charged with any crime. We’re told he will be served the summons in the next few days.
