Kailyn Lowry: Javi Marroquin Was a BIG Mistake!

Kailyn Lowry isn’t exactly the pinnacle of stable … and when you combine her antics with Teen Mom, you have a veritable Sharknado of fuss and circumstance.  As her book, Hustle and Heart , is nearly ready for release, we’re getting all sorts of juicy tidbits and online drama, because what else would you expect?  She began one of her latest Twitter tirades talking about – what else? – relationships.  Kailyn said, “People don’t value relationships anymore.” “Everyone wants instant gratification & are constantly looking for the next best thing,” she continued.  “It’s a revolving door of people because as soon as there is one issue someone wants out of the entire relationship,” she explained, which makes us wonder if it’s she – or Javi – who is the one who has successions of people lining up to date one of the two. Somehow, we’re doubting this.  When she was criticized for her own decision to leave her marriage to Marroquin , Kailyn fired back with heavy ammunition, passive-aggressively putting the blame on Javi’s behavior.  “I walked away from something that was toxic,” she retorted. “A bad example for my children. There is a difference.” Sure, but when you just might be the toxic one, it’s high time to do some serious soul-searching to see if you, yourself, are the best example for your children.  She wasn’t done there, though.  “Sure,” she tweeted, “I’ve made mistakes in my relationships. But I know when things can be fixed & healthy. What I walked away from couldn’t be.”  From there, the crazy spun out of control, as it normally does when Lowry embarks on her manic Twitter episodes.  “Sometimes it’s better to love for a distance,” she continued.  “Guess I need to be a little more girly.”  “Never wanted to be the person who gives more than she gets,” Kailyn admitted.  Yesterday, Kailyn was “trying not to worry about things” that she can’t control.  What’s next, bathroom updates?  Poop photos?  She concluded, “You can tell me 100 times, or show me once.”  How about just not, you know, showing us at all?  Nobody cares about your book, Kailyn.  Nobody cares about your estranged relationship with Javi Marroquin.  Just go back to being your regular ol’ Teen Mom crazy mode , and let the fans and the haters do the work.  All right? My name is Disha and I’m from Mauritius. In December I…

My name is Disha and I’m from Mauritius. In December I found out that Justin was doing a concert in Cape Town, South Africa and my dad had promised me to get tickets to the show. In February, I found out that they were selling meet and greets for the concert and I asked my dad to get them. I found out that there were only 30 tickets and they were all sold out. I was so upset that I couldn’t meet my idol but my dad told me that he had managed to get us the M&G tickets. I literally cried for half an hour when I found out. I started the countdown and the big day was finally here. We left for the stadium at 3 o’clock and waited outside for 2 hours before they let us in. We were sent in a room where Ryan (the host) told us the rules. After a while I saw girls going out so even I went out and there I saw Dan, he was so sweet and I took a picture with him and talked to him. I even saw Kenny but he couldn’t take pictures because he was busy. Finally they put us in a line and the M&G started. The line was moving so fast because you get like only 2 seconds with Justin. It was my turn to go and I opened the curtain and I saw the angelic face of his. I couldn’t move because I was so shocked! I went to him and said, “Hi Justin what’s up?” He replied with, “Hi sweetie, how are you?” I was too shocked to say anything. I asked for a hug but we had to take the picture so he pulled me by waist and we took it. I asked him again for a hug but the security guard was pulling me so he gave me a light hug and a smile! I screamed “Bye Justin” and gave him a flying kiss he replied with, “Love you.” As soon as I got out I realized that I had just met my idol and I started bawling my eyes out. The concert was amazing and I had so much fun. Just a little piece of advice, when you meet Justin don’t wait for the picture to be taken and then start talking because as soon as they take the picture they take you out of the room so ask him questions before or while taking the picture and keep him interested. For those who don’t have meet and greets don’t worry, one day you will meet your idol. Just keep on BELIEVING. Here is the original post: My name is Disha and I’m from Mauritius. In December I…

Nine Reasons Why You Should Never BUY an Animal Companion from a Pet Store

December 12, 2008 at 12:15 pm by Sarah Irani 9 Reasons You Should Never Buy an Animal from a Pet Store When my husband and I were about to move to our new place, I told him I’d like to get a cat, so we planned to adopt one. We didn’t get that far, however, because as soon as the landlady unlocked the front door to let us in to our new place, a skinny little black cat scurried in and made herself at home. She’s been with us ever since. Speaking of black cats, there still prevails a superstitious bias against dark-colored animals and they are often passed over for adoption at animal shelters. Unless you have all-white furniture and the dark shedding fur would cause you major grief, consider bringing a black dog or cat home with you. There are some other important and compassionate reasons to consider adopting a pet over buying from a store. Puppy mills. Most pet stores get their puppies from factory-style breeding facilities called puppy mills. Puppy mills are high-volume breeding facilities where many dogs are kept in squalid, caged conditions until they’re ready to sell. They often have health and socialization problems. Save a life, make a friend for life. It’s sad but true ““ space is limited in animal shelters and if that sweet little creature doesn’t get adopted within a certain amount of time, it will have to be euthanized. There are some no-kill shelters, but they are in the minority. Save money. It costs much less to adopt from a shelter than to buy from a pet store. What you pay to the shelter generally includes vaccination, de-worming and spay/neuter services. You’ll also get some guidance and advice for the care of your new pet! AKC papers don’t guarantee health. Purebred papers from the American Kennel Club guarantee only the purity the breed ““ nothing more. Even if a puppy is purebred, it might have hereditary health problems. If you are looking for an AKC-certified pet, look beyond the anonymity of the pet store or the internet and visit a reputable breeder in person to find out more about the puppy’s parentage and living conditions. These days there are rescue organizations for nearly every breed, so it’s not necessary to adopt a mutt if you want to rescue an animal. You can find purebreds at a shelter. If you’ve got your heart set on a particular breed, give animal shelters a chance; purebreds show up there all the time. Good karma. Many years ago, our family cat went missing and although my mom scoured the local shelters for him, he was never found. In the meantime, however, she came across a scrawny little ball of fluff that caught her eye and tugged at her heart. She brought him home, took care of him, and now he’s the biggest, fluffiest Maine Coon you’ll ever see. He and my mom are inseparable. She saved his life and he’ll never forget it. Socialization. A pet store animal has probably never been in a house before, whereas a shelter animal most likely has. Most shelters screen for good behavior and temperament and will be honest with you about the animal’s personality and needs, whereas a pet store only wants to make a profit. Most shelter animals have been left behind because of a cross-country move, a new baby, or expense. These animals have likely been housebroken and know how to manage their way in the world of humans. They’ll certainly be happy to have a new home. Don’t support animal over-population. There are already so many domestic animals in this world that need a home. Pet shops and puppy mills support over-breeding of these animals for profit. It’s estimated that 6 to 8 million pets are euthanized every year! Rescue a spayed or neutered pet instead and give it the loving home it deserves. Shelters offer a huge selection of animals. Many shelters rescue more than just dogs or cats. Birds, horses, guinea pigs, hamsters, reptiles, farm animals and all kinds of other critters may be your ideal companion, too. Image: Conway L. added by: EthicalVegan

Sade’s Soldier Of Love Marches Into Billboard #1

Singer’s first album since 2000 leads next week’s albums chart, followed by Lady Antebellum and Jaheim. By Gil Kaufman Sade’s Soldier Of Love Photo: Epic Apparently, it doesn’t matter how long Sade stays away, because as soon as she slinks back into our lives, we can’t get enough of the enigmatic Helen Folasade Adu, whose last album came out in 2000. The smooth-as-silk singer will easily take the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200 charts with her sixth full-length album, Soldier of Love, capitalizing on the Valentine’s Day holiday and racking up impressive sales of 502,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan. That feat was enough to push the previous two-week champ, Lady Antebellum ‘s Need You Now down to #2, as sales slipped a fraction to 208,000. Debuting at #3 is R&B crooner Jaheim , whose Another Round moved 112,000 units, followed by two more new faces in the top 10, country singer Josh Turner with Haywire (#5, 85,000) and Christian pop act tobyMac , with Tonight (#6, 79,000). The rest of the top 10 are Lil Wayne ‘s Rebirth (#4, 89,000, down 49 percent), Lady Gaga ‘s The Fame (#7, 76,000), the Black Eyed Peas ‘ The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) (#8, 67,000), Susan Boyle ‘s I Dreamed a Dream (#9, 51,000) and Taylor Swift ‘s Fearless (#10, 50,000). Canadian crooner Michael Bubl
