This Is Us Recap: Toby’s Got a Secret. Did He Keep It?

Kate and Toby were at the center of This Is Us Season 4 Episode 2. And so was their son, Jack, which is where the problems between the couple arose. We’ll start with this: A clearly thinner Toby simply could not hide his anxiety over the baby boy’s diagnosis of blindness on this installment of the NBC drama. The family remarked on Toby’s weight loss, which he attributed to stress and stress only. Kate, for her part, appeared to be holding things together and also appeared to be unshaken by any new developments. The husband and wife did get plenty support from Kevin, Rebecca, Miguel and Madison as they navigated the ins and outs of parenting a child who cannot see. Kate eventually lost it when she thought about Jack never getting to see a Pittsburgh Steelers game — and she wondered whether his condition was her fault because doctors warned her not to get pregnant. However, she regained her inner strength once she decided that he would live a limitless life… with the Pearsons’ assistance. She was still struggling, though. Could anyone blame her? Toby noted that Kate was overeating to cope and that he was worried about her, while he was secretly sneaking to the gym to work out and slim down. Elsewhere… Kevin also attempted to remain busy to maintain his sobriety. He helped Kate and Toby… went to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings… wrapped a new film with M. Night Shyamalan … and considered a job offer in Chicago. However, he could not stop thinking about Nicky (Griffin Dunne), who totally ghosted him after Kevin wired him bail money. Instead of heading to Illinois to take a meeting about a new movie, Kevin traveled to Nicky’s trailer to figure out what was up with him. Watch This Is Us Season 4 Episode 2 Online Nearby, Randall, Beth and the girls settled into life in Pittsburgh. Tess (Eris Baker) and Deja (Lyric Ross) wanted to express their independence, naturally, by getting a kinda crazy haircut and riding the city bus to school alone, respectively — but their parents hesitated. Ultimately, they caved as viewers discovered that Deja’s route passed by Malik’s auto shop and she had been flirting with him via text message. Finally… In flashbacks, Jack, Rebecca and the Big Three went to the pool, yet it was nothing like their Season 1 trip. Unfortunately. The children were about to begin seventh grade and were not into hanging with their mom and dad. Kevin and Randall argued over their less than brotherly treatment of each other… and Kate kissed a boy after falling prey to a prank by popular girls. This Is Us airs on NBC Tuesdays at 9/8c.

Kailyn Lowry: Javi Marroquin Tried to Cheat on Lauren Comeau … With ME!

Kailyn Lowry seems to make a genuine effort to get along with her baby daddies. But there's a difference between being friendly and what Javi Marroquin wanted her to do at this year's Teen Mom 2 reunion taping. Now, we already knew that Javi cheated on his fiancee, Lauren Comeau . What we didn't know until now was that he (allegedly) tried to hook up with Kailyn Lowry behind her back. We're guessing Lauren is having second thoughts about giving her man another chance right about now! Take a look: 1. Handsy Javi Kail and Javi have hooked up several times since ending their marriage back in 2016. And clearly, it’s an arrangement he thought would continue … 2. He Was Wrong The problem with that, of course, is that Javi is engaged to Lauren Comeau. And as far as we know, the couple is not in an open relationship. 3. Popping the Question Of course, Javi and Lauren’s engagement was a new development when Kail filmed her scenes for this week’s Teen Mom 2. And while Comeau seemed to believe Javi had changed his cheating ways … Lowry was less convinced. 4. Not Exactly Low-Key But as Javi learned the hard way this week, it’s hard to get away with cheating when a camera crew follows both you and your attempted cheating partner all day. 5. Kailyn Lowry: I Would NEVER Marry Javi Marroquin Again!

There was a time when Kailyn Lowry made a concerted effort to maintain civil relationships with her baby daddies. We think it’s safe to say those days are done. Yesterday, we learned that Lowry still hates Jo Rivera . And today, she’s got her sights set on Javi Marroquin. On the latest episode of her Coffee Convos podcast, Kail engaged in a little thought experiment with co-host Lindsie Chrisley. Basically, Lindsie tried to get to the bottom of Kail’s views on matrimony by asking if she would “choose to never be married or [be] married to the same man or woman three times.” “Never be married,” Lowry promptly replied. “I could never, I would never marry Javi ever again.” Jeez, Kail. Tell us how you really feel! Chrisley attempted to keep the tone light, joking, “We know that, duh.” But Kail wasn’t kidding around. In fact, it sounded like she was dead serious in her response. Lowry went on to say that not only would she never marry Javi again, she can’t see herself getting hitched to anyone — at least not legally. “I’d given it a lot of thought over the last, probably several weeks,” she stated. “Like, if I was to get, like, married again, I don’t know that I would go legal with it. I think I would do like a commitment ceremony.” Kail found her inspiration for this stance in a pair of fellow MTV reality stars. “Yeah, 100 percent not like I would pull a Brody Jenner [and Kaitlynn Carter] for sure,” she said. “I’m pretty sure it was a commitment ceremony. They said that they were never legally married.” As you probably know, Brody and Kaitlynn recently called it quits , and Carter promptly entered a relationship with Miley Cyrus. Shortly thereafter, Kaitlynn and Miley broke up , but as messy as the situation got, we suppose it was all made easier by the fact that Jenner and Carter were never legally hitched. In fact, their breakup seemed to be a fairly amicable one. So maybe Kail is onto something with this whole “commitment ceremony” business. That’s open for debate, of course, but one thing is for certain — she’s got the right idea when it comes to never giving Javi another chance. Lauren Comeau: I Can PROVE Javi is Not a Cheater!

Lauren Comeau is a bit weaker than usual at the moment. That's what happens when you give birth to a human being, as Comeau did back on November 15 . She and Javi Marroquin welcomed a son named Eli and he's very cute and everyone is happy for her… … except Javi's ex-girlfriend, Briana DeJesus, who used the date of this blessed event to accuse Javi of cheatiing on her. How so?  Scroll down to find out and then keep scrolling to see how Comeau got up the strength to defend Marroquin — in no uncertain terms: 1. First, Here’s the Baby He’s downright adorable. He weighed in at six pounds and 13 ounces when he was born. 2. And Here’s the New Family Again… so precious, right?!? Both Comeau and Marroquin posted this picture after welcoming their first kid together. 3. Javi Now Has Two Sons And here they are! The five-year old is named Lincoln and is shared by Marroquin and Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry. 4. Adorable! So… What’s the Issue Here? Ask Briana DeJesus. She Tweeted this message upon the occasion of this birth, doing some math and implying strongly that Javi slept with Comeau while he was dating her. (Because Javi visited Florida for Briana’s surgery and attempted to keep their romantic flame lit while there.) 5. FAKE LOVE! Briana went on to label her love with Javi “fake” and made it clear she’s moved on. But still doesn’t think highly of her ex. 6. What Say You, Lauren? FAKE ACCUSATION, she says of Briana’s allegation against Javi. “I’ll tell you the day I conceived: March 10. We know the timeline. We know when we conceived,” Lauren has told Radar Online. Javi Marroquin Baby Name, Photo: REVEALED!

He has a name, folks. And quite the adorable little face. About a day after Javi Marroquin welcomed his second son into the world, the former Teen Mom 2 star has shared two critical pieces of information about the tyke: 1. His name. 2. His photo. Upon first announcing the birth of his second child (Javi also has a five-year old son named Lincoln with Kailyn Lowry), Marroquin said he and girlfriend Lauren Comeau had not yet come up with a name for the newborn. But that has now changed. Along with the totally adorable snapshot below, Javi wrote the following caption on Instagram last night.  Take note of the first word in it… Eli Joseph Marroquin, I didn’t know I could love another human as much as I do your brother. My heart only got bigger yesterday and now I have another little boy to help guide and mold to become a gentleman! I love you Eli so much! How very sweet, right? Comeau, meanwhile, shared this same photo (along with the others below) and wrote her own caption that address her first kid. It reads as follows: And just like that, my heart is completely full. Nothing will ever top this moment, a moment I’ve prayed for, for a very long time. I love you E. And thank you my love for supporting me through the craziest two days of my life. Comeau and Marroquin dated for several weeks last summer and then rekindled their romantic flame late this past winter. ( While Javi was still dating Briana DeJesus, some people named Briana DeJesus might say .) They announced they were expecting on May 30 and then revealed they were expecting a boy a couple months later. Lauren was due on December 1, but had her labor induced on November 15. In a chat with Radar Online, Comeau admitted that induction was a tad scary , but “it’s been incredible” overall to be a mother so far, adding: “I was nervous about having to start from zero at the hospital, but we had a really great experience… “His first overnight was amazing. We all three slept in between nurse visits. He’s latching great. He’s a happy, healthy boy!” Marroquin also shared the above image of Eli asleep in his daddy’s arms. Life doesn’t get much better than this. In the wake of Javi become a dad again, Lowry Tweeted “congrats,” while DeJesus figured out some math in regard to when Comeau gave birth and when she split from Marroquin and basically accused him of cheating on social media. But Javi doesn’t seem too concerned about that right now. He has something far more important to focus on. For the next few minutes, months and many years. “I shed some tears,” Marroquin told Radar of his reaction when Eli was born. “For those that don’t know, I’m not an emotional person anymore at all and just seeing my son come out really had me in my feeling.” Well, yeah. Of course man! You’re only human. Briana DeJesus to Javi Marroquin: Congrats… On Being a Cheater!

Briana DeJesus has a message for Javi Marroquin on the occasion of her ex-boyfriend becoming a father for the second time. But it isn’t exactly congratulatory. A day after Javi and Lauren Comeau welcomed a baby boy into the world, DeJesus took to Twitter and strongly accused Marroquin of cheating on her. Sort of a strange reaction, given the blessed development for the former Teen Mom 2 cast member? Yes, but Briana thinks she has new proof that Javi stepped out on her with Comeau earlier this year. You see, Javi and Lauren dated for a couple months in the summer of 2017. After they split, Marroquin started getting down and dirty with DeJesus, a relatively new star on the aforementioned MTV hit. And then not long after they split, Javi returned to Comeau’s bed. But DeJesus now says on Twitter that the relationships overlapped. To wit: Fans will likely remember that Briana traveled down to Miami for some plastic surgery on the date she cites above. Her and Javi were very much on the outs at the time, but he showed up in Florida to support her, making it seem as if he wanted things to work out between the D-Listers. So now we can do some math: Comeau gave birth on November 15. She was due on December 1, however, which is 10 months after Javi and Briana were in Miami together, attempting to work things out. According to DeJesus, this means Javi and Lauren were clearly back in touch, if not already having sex again, considering how soon she got knocked up after this Florida trip. And according to DeJesus, this is evidence that Marroquin’s feelings for her were totally fake, as you can see by her follow-up Tweet before: Again, there does seem to be a bit of time in between Marroquin and DeJesus’ break-up here. Moreover, the status of Javi and Briana during the infamous Florida vacation remains unknown. Were they really, truly, 100% together? We may never know, but Javi, at worst, wasted VERY little time in moving on from DeJesus. But this doesn’t exactly come as a surprise to anyone who has followed the rocky journey of Briana, Javi and even Kailyn Lowry. We’re pretty sure Marroquin was doing all THREE women at one point . Javi Marroquin: Kailyn Lowry and Lauren Comeau Will NEVER Be Friends!

Last night, the world learned that Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau have welcomed a child . The baby boy is Javi’s second child and Lauren’s first. As Javi pointed out in a video message to fans, this is an exciting time for the young couple for a number of reasons. Not only did he just welcome a second son, his firstborn is about to turn 5, and Javi announced this week that he’ll soon enter the world of celebrity boxing. “So with this boxing fight and the birth of my new son, probably wasn’t a good idea to do it on the same day,” Marroquin said in the video. “I have a quick second, so many people texting me and calling me I’ve been ignoring everything.” On top of all that Javi and Lauren recently bought a house together . So we think it’s safe to say she’ll be sticking around for a while. And that may not sit well with Javi’s first baby mama. As we’ve reported before, Lauren and Kailyn Lowry do not get along . And it doesn’t look as though that will be changing any time soon. Javi admits that he’s not thrilled with the situation and wishes Kail and Lauren could find some common ground. But he also says he won’t be forcing the issue: “I tell Lauren this all the time, I think we’re just gonna let it flow and let it happen naturally, so whenever we cross paths and they just talk and stop and meet, I mean, we’re not gonna force it,” Javi recently told Us Weekly . “We’re not gonna set up a dinner date or whatnot,” he added. “We’re gonna see each other at sporting events, like basketball is starting up again in the winter, but we’re just gonna let it happen naturally and when it happens, it happens.” We guess that’s the mature approach to take here. Now, let’s see if everyone sticks with it. Asked about the rumors that Kail has a new boyfriend, Javi was similarly non-committal: “Kail is pretty open with me as far as communication, so if it’s true, I mean I’m sure she’ll tell me soon,” he told Us . “I think I tell this to Kail all the time, you know, she deserves a lot. She’s a very hard worker and it’s a shame that she’s … I don’t want to see her settle, so I tell her all the time, ‘Know your worth and don’t settle for anyone. Your time will come.’ “I just want her to know that you know, she’s special and someone out there will be great for her. I just don’t want her to get caught up with any bad guys and see her cry or any of the stuff like that and that’s really it.” It’s great that Javi has Kail’s best interests at heart.  Now if only he felt that way when they were together. Kailyn Lowry vs. Lauren Comeau: Teen Mom 2 Feud Alert!

Back in March,  Javi Marroquin got back together with Lauren Comeau , and the couple immediately started making up for lost time. Within a few months, the couple announced that  Lauren was pregnant with Javi’s baby . The two of them quickly got engaged, bought a house together, and set about the business of sweeping Javi’s promiscuous past under the rug. On the outside, it looks as though Javi and Lauren are well on their way to creating an idealized white picket fence future. The view is particularly convincing if you’re able to ignore the fact that Javi was sleeping with two other women at the time he got Lauren pregnant. But on closer inspection, the rapid transition into quiet domesticity seems to be resulting in some serious growing pains for both Javi and Lauren. And perhaps this is most evident in the strained relationship between Lauren and Javi’s ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry. Kail and Javi, of course, are parents to 4-year-old Lincoln, which means whether she likes it or not, soon-to-be-stepmom Lauren is now a permanent fixture in Lowry’s life. And in a new interview with something called Teen Mom Time , Javi admitted that the arrangement is currently less than ideal. “Co-parenting is fine,” Javi said when asked about his relationship with Kail.  “I’ve been so busy. We rarely talk. When we do, it’s, ‘Don’t forget his soccer cleats.’ That’s really it. Things are fine.” Asked how Kail and Lauren are getting along, however, Javi was considerably less optimistic: “I hope they eventually say hi to each other,” Marroquin said. “If she needs anything, Lauren can help out. It will come eventually.” Javi went on to say that he hopes his ex and future wives will be able to work out their differences someday: “We know it will happen naturally and whenever it’s right,” he added. “There are a lot of moving parts right now.” Well, relationships between exes and new loves are often tense. Of course, the situation tends to be even more fraught when you were banging both of them at the same time, but who knows — maybe these three can beat the odds and make it work.
