If you’re anything like us, you’ve avoided CrossFit and its enthusiasts with the sort of aggressive disdain that most folks reserve for sanctimonious vegans or people who love to tell you about their dreams. But for reasons we don’t fully understand, the fitness brand is wildly popular these days, and Javi Marroquin is looking to capitalize on the trend. Javi took to Instagram this week to announce that he’s opening his own CrossFit gym in Smyrna, Delaware, which is apparently a place. Marroquin announced the news with a triumphant video addressed to his followers. “DREAM COME TRUE!” Javi captioned the announcement below. “So I’m taking a big leap here and going to open up my own business,” he continued. Javi’s Big Announcement “This has always been in the back of my mind for years. “I was always scared to take the first jump and go after it. After talking with my family and loved ones, @crossfitkillshot will be opening soon in Smyrna, DE!” Javi elaborated on the news in the video itself, adding: “I am going to go ahead and open my own CrossFit affiliate called CrossFit Killshot,” said an exuberant Javi. Marroquin goes on to encourage fans to follow the IG page for his new business venture, adding: “Stay tuned for more updates.” Sounds pretty straightforward, but to be honest we have a lot of questions: Is Javi prepared for his insurance to skyrocket after a soccer mom from Dover inevitably takes a kettlebell to the skull? And what in the hell inspired the douchetastic name Killshot? Is it inspired by Eminem’s Machine Gun Kelly diss track of the same name? If so, we’re gonna have to go ahead and encourage all Delaware residents to boycott Javi’s gym on general principle. But the most important question of all, of course, is — what does Lauren Comeau think of all this? As you’re probably aware, Javi and Lauren are expecting their first child together, and they recently bought a house. So even though they’re not officially man and wife, their finances are pretty well intertwined. Hopefully, Javi consulted Lauren before jumping into this thing. Dre is an ex of Briana’s, and her latest social media posts have viewers convinced they’ve gotten back together. On Valentine’s Day, Bri posted a photo of herself and Dre on Snapchat. She captioned the pic, “Spa day!” Needless to say, the timing and the nature of the image led many to the conclusion that Briana and Dre are more than just friends. Dre seemed to verify that they’re an item when he tweeted “Ima make a great step daddy” in response to fan speculation. That seemed to pretty much confirm what fans already expected, but amazingly Bri says they’ve got it all wrong: “I’m so annoyed at these reports,” she told Blasting News Wednesday. “I am not with Dre. We have this inkling because Teen Mom 2 star Javi Marroquin went ahead and did the unthinkable on Friday night: He issued what appears to be a heartfelt apology to Kailyn Lowry. For real! “At the end of the day a good relationship with my sons mother will make Lincoln the happiest. I lost sight of that,” Javi wrote, referencing the child he shares with his ex-wife. The mea culpa was prompted by Marroquin’s actions while visiting current (or maybe ex ) girlfriend, Briana DeJesus, in Miami last week. (More on that down below.) “This trip made me realize that and I’ve apologized to kail for my actions,” Marroquin added, regarding Lowry and their relationship. The formerly married reality stars co-parent their four-year-old son. Through all their ups and downs (and there have been A LOT of ups and downs!), Javi and Kailyn have at least always seemed dedicated to raising their toddler in as happy and as healthy an environment as possible. The couple was together as husband and wife for three years prior to their split in 2016. Both have since moved on with other lovers, as Marroquin’s ongoing, up-and-down relationship with fellow MTV personality DeJesus is a constant source of tension. Early last week, Javi visited Briana in Florida, where she had gone to get some plastic surgery. At this point, it feels pretty safe to say that Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus are mortal enemies, right? And what a blessing that is to all of our trashy Teen Mom-loving hearts. Ever since Briana began dating Javi Marroquin, things have been super tense between these two ladies. They’ve taken turns being unnecessarily catty towards each other , and it’s been greatly entertaining for us all. But today, Briana went off on Kailyn and Javi on Twitter. Hard. And it’s not so much entertaining as it is bizarre … and just a little bit embarrassing. To give a quick bit of background, it seems like Briana is upset because of things that were said when Javi went on Kailyn’s podcast earlier this week. Which is odd, because while they did mention Briana, it’s not like they trashed her or anything. Javi actually defended her , saying that she’s a good person and that she’s different than she seems on the show. Kailyn didn’t even go too hard on her — she just explained that they’d never get along because some of the things she’s said to her in the past, and because she was disrespectful to her. But still, Briana got pretty heated about the whole thing. Heated enough to make approximately a billion tweets about the matter. “Since I have some downtime from actually working…let me spill some tea for you guys,” she began. “I will never ever come out my face just because…I will never come out of character just because…… so let’s get that out of the way…” She then explained that “Once I am provoked you have given me all rights to get out of character.” And apparently Kailyn has given her those rights . “Now once I get out of character and you can’t seem to handle the lash…. dont act like the victim because you were the one who made the issue what it is. I am not the one.” She didn’t direct all of this at Kailyn, but come on, we all know who’s she talking about here. About Javi, she said “Don’t allow someone to disrespect me and think its all gravy mother of ur child or not.” “I am not the common denominator as to why yall fail to co parent so dont ever use my name in that matter again.” “And you are right,” she added, “I’ll never say sorry cause I am not the one who started all this mess.” “You use ur kids as pawns and that is not my fault but ur own selfish reasoning’s.” That’s a lot to unpack, right? But Briana isn’t even close to being done yet. She claimed that “strings were never cut” between Kailyn and Javi, “and once she felt like she couldn’t control him any longer she used me as the problem and I am not the problem.” “Don’t ever tell me im being shady when u ran to ur ex as soon as u had an opportunity for urself. Meanwhile, back on Briana’s Twitter — there are seriously just so, so many tweets — she accused Javi of being fake because he was being wishy-washy about her on Kailyn’s podcast while telling her in texts that he wants to marry her . Things have been better for Teresa Giudice. She served her time in prison. Her husband is now serving his sentence. Also, The Real Housewives of New Jersey may be facing cancellation … and some say that she’s a big part of what is tanking the brand. To make matters worse, she’s reportedly terrified that Joe will get out of prison only to be deported. If he is, will she go with him? Bankruptcy is no fun, but bankruptcy fraud is worse. At least, that’s what our court system says. They sentenced both Teresa Giudice and her husband, Joe Giudice, to prison. For the sake of the children, the court very wisely allowed Teresa to serve her (shorter) sentence first, followed by her husband. If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime, or so they say. But it turns out that the prison sentences may just be the start of the Giudice family’s troubles. RadarOnline reports that Teresa Giudice fears that Joe will be sent to Italy, because he’s not actually an American citizen. “Teresa is terrified Joe will be deported upon his release in less than two years.” Growing up, many of us always assumed that marrying an American citizen granted automatic citizenship unless the union was found to be fraudulent. The reality is much more complex. Apparently, any sense of peace that the public has perceived from Teresa has been a facade. “She’s keeping good attitude in public and good happy face.” Happy isn’t really the mood that a lot of people associate with the infamous table-flipping Housewife, but … sure. “But lawyers have told her it’s not an easy task to win because of the felony charge — something he knew when the accepted plea deal.” Basically, they’re going to have an immigration fight on their hands when he finishes his sentence. Meanwhile, Joe reportedly has some fears of his own. “Joe is terrified that she and the kids won’t come with him if he’s deported.” Anybody else’s first thought: Well why would they ? Teresa’s joked about Italy being beautiful anyway (it really is), but vacationing somewhere is very different from living in a different culture, immersed in another language. Besides, Teresa might not exactly be motivated to pack up her entire life for Joe. “Teresa said she still hasn’t forgiven him for this whole mess!” The fact of the matter is that no relationship lasts forever. You either break up or you die. And there have been some indicators, including cheating rumors , that suggest that Teresa and Joe’s union won’t end in death. “Teresa and Joe’s marriage is not as it once was. They’re both changed people.” That happens over time. Especially when something dramatic, like both serving prison time, happens. “Both of them have grown so if he must go Teresa doesn’t think she’s going with him. The campaign and presidency of Donald Trump have brought all manner of D-list boot-lickers out of the woodwork, many of whom have attempted to forge second careers out of their willingness to publicly fellate the Donald. Scott Baio, Omarosa, Ted Nugent, and Stacey Dash are just some of the lackeys to emerge from the “where are they now?” file in hopes of winning Trump’s favor. But of all the has-beens who have put their remnants of their reputations on the line for a man who clearly has no loyalty to his minions ( ask Steve Bannon about that one) perhaps none is more perplexing than Piers Morgan. In the States, Morgan might be best known as the guy who once co-hosted a cut-rate talent show with Sharon Osbourne, but in his native UK, he still has a career. As the host of Good Morning Britain is basically the British equivalent of Matt Lauer … and we say that with full awareness that Lauer is a creep who was despised by his co-workers and received praise only when he announced his decision to finally go away. On this morning’s show, Piers was as giddy as a schoolgirl, having finally secured an interview with his longtime Twitter crush, DJT. For the most part, Morgan lobbed a bunch of softball nonsense at the president, but remarkably, he did actually broach a difficult subject by bringing up Trump’s retweets of Britain First, a bigoted hate group whose views have been universally condemned by British politicians. Trump didn’t deny that he retweeted the group more than once (“Well, three times. Boom, boom, boom. Quickly. Yeah,” he hilariously described the action), but he refused to apologize for one of the dumbest moves of a presidency characterized solely by dumb moves. “Here’s what’s fair: If you’re telling me they’re horrible, racist people I would certainly apologize, if you’d like me to do that. I know nothing about them,” Trump said. When Morgan basically replied, “That’s some Palin-caliber word salad there, boss, but folks have more finely-tuned BS detectors on this side of the pond,” Trump elaborated thusly: “I don’t want to be involved with people like that. But you’re telling me about these people because I know nothing about these people.” That was apparently good enough for Piers who took to Twitter after the interview to declare that Trump had “publicly apologised.” Now, obviously, dumb Trump tweets are nothing new, but the Britain First links took things to a dangerous new level, as for the first time, the president was presenting an immediate physical threat to civilians of an allied nation. Britain First followers have been known to engage in racially-charged hate crimes, and when their views are legitimized by none other than the president of the United States, it makes life measurably more dangerous for civilians in the UK and throughout the world. As this week’s CNN threats reminded us, the president’s words have real-world consequences, and what’s nothing more than a petty social media feud to Trump is a literal call to arms for some of his followers. But hey, if his apology is good enough for Piers Morgan, we’re sure it’s good enough to quell the homicidal rage of a heavily-armed far-right militia group.
