Twenty-five years have passed since the world’s worst man-made disaster – Bhopal gas tragedy – occurred. But despite the passage of time the trauma continues for the survivors of that fateful night of Dec 2-3, 1984, when over 40 tonnes of methyl isocyanate (MIC) spewed out of the now defunct Union Carbide’s pesticide plant. Having borne the brunt of neurological, hormonal and mental health problems – besides the economic hardships – the survivors are now faced with the problem of deformed children being born. Kyle Gallner on A Nightmare on Elm Street and Acting Scared in a Speedo

There’s something about Kyle Gallner that does “tortured” so well. Whether he’s exacting torment on his classmates in Veronica Mars or suffering at the hands of evil in Jennifer’s Body and A Haunting in Connecticut , the 23-year-old actor isn’t afraid to let fear and ferocity flicker across his baby face, and it’s a trait that serves him well as Quentin, the high-schooler who bears the brunt of Freddy Krueger’s wrath in the new remake of Nightmare on Elm Street . This week, Movieline spoke to Gallner about two intriguing indies he has coming up ( Goodnight Moon and Beautiful Boy ) and the most horrifying part of his Elm Street experience: acting in the near-nude for days on end.

Acknowledging his recent breakup with Hailey Glassman, Jon confirms he and she are taking “some time right now” to “focus on our individual lives.” Responding to claims he was emotionally abusive, he says she “taken the brunt of my anger and the world’s disappointment of Kate and I separating.” He tries to defend her from her critics – the world, in his estimation
