The Voice Results: Who Made the Finals? Who Went Down Singing?

The Voice results are in, and the final three are set. Tuesday on The Voice results show, America eliminated two more aspiring singers, and set the stage for the epic conclusion of Season Five next week. Who did fans send to the bottom three after Monday’s performances? Who got through the semifinals and who left with a broken heart on The Voice? Let’s get right down to the competition’s results below … James Wolpert (Team Adam) and Cole Vosbury (Team Blake) were eliminated. Jacquie Lee (Team Xtina), Will Champlin and Tessanne Chin (Team Adam) are still in it to win it! And with that news, Blake Shelton’s reign at the top has ended. After leading Jermaine Paul, Cassadee Pope, and Danielle Bradbery to victory over the past three seasons, he is officially out of the running along with Cole. It came down to Cole and Will for the last spot in the finals. The Voice: Semifinal Elimination While Adam Levine did suffer his first loss of the season in James (who came in fifth place), his proteges Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin survived. Christina Aguilera, who’s never won The Voice, finally may taste sweet victory if her last girl standing, teen prodigy Jacquie Lee, prevails next week. Think she can do it? The Voice Season 4 Photos: Ushering in a New Era!

Usher and Shakira are set to debut on The Voice, which just crowned Cassadee Pope champion, in Season 4. Here’s a look at the first photos of them in the big chairs! In just-released promotional portraits, the two new mentors pose in the show’s famous swivel chairs alongside veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Shakira, 35, and Usher, 34, replace Christina Aguilera, 32, and Cee Lo Green, 38, for the NBC show’s fourth season, premiering March 25. Shakira, who will soon welcome her firstborn son with boyfriend Gerard Pique (reports that Shakira gave birth already were a hoax) is quite pregnant. “I’m thrilled to be here and I’m sure he is too,” she told Access Hollywood , pointing to her baby bump, which Levine said contains his infant namesake. “She’s going to name the baby Adam, actually,” the Maroon 5 frontman, 33, joked. “It’s a great name. It’s a very strong name. Strong name.” The “One More Night” crooner admitted he “underestimated” the Latin superstar. “I stole a couple of contestants from him,” Shakira explained. Usher and Shelton, 36, have gotten along great. “The dynamic has changed for sure,” Blake said of Aguilera and Green’s temporary exits . “It’s really fun.” Joked Usher, “I’ve been able to bring out his inner MC Hammer.” Are you excited for Shakira and Usher on The Voice?   Yeah! Shake things up with some new blood! No! If Christina and Cee Lo go, I go! View Poll »

The Voice Recap: Top 3 Perform Once More, With Feeling

The Voice’s final three remaining singers – Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott and Nicholas David – gave it their all Monday in hopes of winning it all Tuesday night. With stars so talented, yet divergent in style, it’s anyone’s game. The three stars’ teams have no relevance, with the coaches unable to sway the outcome beyond whatever their praise after the performances is worth. Who will America crown the winner of The Voice Season 3? Cassadee Pope – Cry (The Voice) Cassadee Pope – Over You (The Voice Finals) Will it be Cassadee Pope, the pop-rock-turned-country cutie who reprised her signature performance of “Over You” in addition to Faith Hill’s “Cry”? Terry McDermott – Broken Wings (The Voice) Terry McDermott – I Want to Know What Love Is (The Voice Finals) Will it be Terry McDermott, whose “I Want to Know What Love Is” made him a contender, and whose “Broken Wings” cover served as his final song? Nicholas David – Lean On Me (The Voice Finals) Nicholas David – Great Balls of Fire (The Voice) Will it be soulful Nicholas David, who treated us to his defining cover “Lean on Me” and a fired-up medley of “Great Balls of Fire” and (yes) “Fire”? Clearly, any of the three would be worthy. But who’ll get the votes? Which performance above was your favorite on the night? Your least favorite? Let us know who you think will, and should , win The Voice, and vote in our poll: Who should win The Voice of these top three stars?   Cassadee Pope Terry McDermott Nicholas David View Poll »
