Kris Jenner’s Sister Says She’s Putting On A Front, Really Embarrassed By Caitlyn Jenner

Kris Jenner “Embarrassed” By Caitlyn’s Transition Kris Jenner may seem relatively cool with Caitlyn Jenner’s emergence as a woman, but behind the scenes she is apparently none-too-pleased about the new and improved ‘Cait.’ Kris’ sister, Karen Houghton, has come forward to let people know that even though Kris is doing her best to appear unbothered, Caitlyn’s transition has taken a toll and embarrassed her deeply. As she told Britain’s Heat Magazine : “Of course we all love Caitlyn but I felt so bad for Kris, she was so hurt and is still coming to terms with it. Kris and Bruce had the happiest marriage. Kris doesn’t talk about it much because she finds it embarrassing – I think she’s hurt more than anything. My sister is a genius at marketing so she’s very good at hiding her feelings. Kris doesn’t want the world to think her life is falling apart. She talked to our mom about it a lot. I just ask her if she’s OK. I don’t want to upset her. I pray for her because it’s hard.” Karen admits that the entire thing came as a shock to everyone, but as far as she’s concerned Bruce is still Bruce, and knowing how good a person he is, things will shake out in the end. “This is something none of us dreamed would happen, but now only time will tell what happens next. To me he’ll always be Bruce, even his voice is still Bruce. We spent every Christmas, Easter and birthday with him and the family. He helped raise my daughter. He is a great man. We love Bruce so much. He did a very brave thing. If it makes him happy, then it’s good.” You mean to tell us that Kris’ response to Caitlyn’s transition is all well-rehearsed spin??? We’re sooooo shocked. Seriously, who could really blame her for feeling some type of way about Bruce switching the style up on her like that?

Andy Murray Wins Wimbledon; First British Man to Hold Title in 77 Years

Andy Murray won Wimbledon Sunday, ousting Novak Djokovic and giving Great Britain its first home-grown champion of tennis’ biggest event in 77 years. Murray, the tournament’s #2 seed, bested #1 seed Djokovic 6-4, 7-5, 6-4. With Kate Middleton due any day now … quite a week for the UK! Andy Murray Wins Wimbledon Fred Perry was the last British man to win Wimbledon in 1936. Queen Elizabeth II was 10 years old and may actually remember that, but few others do. Andy Murray, 26, hails from Dunblane, Scotland … which is currently setting the record for most pints consumed by a single town in a single day. He won the 2012 U.S. Open as well as the Olympics, which were held at Wimbledon, but had yet to break through in the tournament he coveted most. Andy had been knocking on the proverbial door for some time, reaching the semifinals each year from 2009-2011, then losing 2012’s final to Roger Federer. Today he was finally able to get it done, despite facing the world’s top-ranked player (and 2011 Wimbledon champion) in Djokovic. Congratulations, Andy!

Making It Rain On Them Hoes: Serena Wins WTA Championship Title

This is Serena’s third time winning the championship. Ending the year on a good note, Serena is bringing in yet another win after she kicked Maria Sharapova’s azz (again). According to ESPN : “Now that I can be honest, I really wanted to win,” Williams said. “I wanted it so bad but I didn’t want to say it … It was really important for me to end the year with this title in particular.” Williams ended the season with a 58-4 record. Since her first-round loss at the French Open, the American is 31-1, winning Wimbledon, the Olympic gold medal and the U.S. Open. But because she did not play as well at the start of the year following injuries and illness, Williams will have to settle for the No. 3 ranking despite dominating the tour in the past few months. She finishes behind No. 2 Sharapova and Victoria Azarenka, who ends the year as the top-ranked player in the world despite losing to Sharapova in the semifinals. “I had such a good year, it was important to end on a good note. It was good for my sanity to win,” Williams said. “I really wanted it although I didn’t need it.” “Today she had another great serving day against me,” said Sharapova, who never had a break point. “If I’m playing well and doing everything right, It’s pretty difficult to beat me, without trying to sound too full of myself,” Williams said. “And I hate to lose.” Williams also became the oldest player, at age 31, to win the year-end championships and has seven titles this year. Big ups to Serena! Images via WENN
