We interrupt this broadcast with breaking news of the zombie apocalypse. The Montana Television Network said that the Emergency Alert System of Great Falls affiliate KRTV and its local CW station were hacked Monday. Pretty sure they’re correct. Watch it go down live below! Hacker Warns of Zombies on Local News The hacker(s) hilariously activated the emergency warning system to broadcast that “dead bodies are rising from their graves” in several Montana counties. No word if the perp(s) were inspired by The Walking Dead Season 3 premiere the night before … or if they are actually rogue zombies themselves. Scary. The alert claimed the bodies were “attacking the living” and warned people not to “approach or apprehend these bodies as they are extremely dangerous.” So we’ve heard. The network says there is no emergency and its engineers are investigating. Whomever is responsible for this will surely be eaten alive … sorry. The Great Falls Tribune reports the hoax alert generated at least four calls to police to see if it was true. Absurd, but it did use the actual alert system.

Oops! They’re bad! Nestle has issued a voluntary recall for over 500,000 Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli Lean Cuisine dishes (produced in early November) after three consumers reportedly found shards of glass in their food. “We apologize to our retail customers and consumers and sincerely regret any inconvenience created by this voluntary product recall,” the company said in its press release, encouraging those with the recalled dish to throw it away and/or contact customer service. They will receive a coupon for doing so. “This is an unusual complaint for us because we don’t have glass in our factories. We have a no-glass policy,” Nestle spokesperson Roz O’Hear told The Huffington Post. “We are very committed to food safety.” We should hope so. Also committed to food safety? Our friends at Food Fanatic. Also glass-free and delicious? That site’s Tostada Recipe !

The 2nd Annual Tournament of THG: Couples Edition has come to an end. We began with 16 hot pairings, with the simple mission of determining our readers’ favorite celebrity couple on THG. The competition was fierce. Your votes narrowed it down to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart vs. Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev, who waged an epic championship round battle. The margin was not a runaway, nor was it razor-thin, with the champs taking 61 percent of the 30,000+ votes cast. Which on-screen vampire duo won the title? U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) finds himself in some hot water this afternoon following a Tweet he wrote about Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Basically, he likened Ahmadinejad to a space monkey. Iran claimed in January that it shot a monkey into space, while Ahmadinejad vocalized his desire to be the first person Iran sends there when the time comes. “So Ahmadinejad wants to be first Iranian in space – wasn’t he just there last week?” tweeted McCain in reference to both of these recent stories. Ahmadinejad actually wouldn’t be the first Iranian in space – Anousheh Ansari paid $20 million for a Russian Soyuz trip to the International Space Station in 2006. But that’s beside the point. Many felt McCain’s joke was in poor taste, or even racist. Others pointed out the joke was apparently used by TV host Jimmy Kimmel in recent days. The 76-year-old former GOP presidential candidate then issued a follow-up: “Re: Iran space tweet … lighten up folks, can’t everyone take a joke?” Should they? Or should McCain apologize?

Among the crazier rumors (or is it?!) slash burning questions to emerge from Super Bowl XLVII: Did Beyonce flash the Illuminati sign during her halftime show? In advance of this evening’s emotional third season-ender, MTV has announced the official premiere date for Teen Mom 2 Season 4. And it’s hella soon! Jenelle Evans , Chelsea Houska, Leah Messer Calvert, and Kailyn Lowry return in just two weeks. February 18 marks the start of the fourth season. A two-hour reunion special hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky will air next Monday, February 11, before Season 4 gets underway. Will that season be its last? Last week, multiple sources erroneously reported Teen Mom 2 canceled already, while others said it is “definitely on its way out” after Season 4. The reason, of course, is the drama surrounding Jenelle Evans, who may be “too much of a liability” due to drug, legal and other personal problems. MTV denied axing the show, but said in a statement regarding the show’s future: “No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2.” The fab four has come a long way in three seasons. Leah Messer married Corey Simms, then divorced him and married (and got pregnant by) Jeremy Calvert. Kailyn Lowry just married Javy Marroquin. Jenelle … goodness, that’s a whole separate section on our site. Only Chelsea Houska has gone the whole time without major upheaval in her life.
