The Voice Results: Who Made the Final 4?

This was, without a doubt, The Voice results show of the year so far. With no idea how things would shake out, the six remaining contestants were waiting on pins and needles to learn if they would earn one of the four semifinal spots. As has been the case since the live shows began, the coaches have no way; it’s all up to America now, and it’s every singer (not team) for himself or herself. So who’s out and who’s on to the final four? Let’s find out: The eliminated two singers leaving The Voice are … Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown, both of Team Adam. Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott of Team Blake and Trevin Hunte and Nicholas David of Team Cee Lo are on to the semifinals next Monday night. Melanie was eliminated first, with the final spot coming down to Amanda and Nicholas. Both were deserving of another week, but the voters have spoken. This result will likely be controversial, as will be the debate over which of the surviving stars has the best stuff going forward. We turn it over to you below! Do you agree with The Voice results tonight?   Yes, America got it right. No, Melanie was robbed! No, Amanda was robbed! No, they were both robbed! Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker?

The tension ran high on this evening’s Dancing With the Stars results show. Based on the scores from the semifinal round , any of the five remaining All-Stars could make a strong case for advancing … but were also at risk for going home. It’s DWTS , after all. You’re always in jeopardy until you learn you’re not. So which two were cut, and which three advanced? The two ousted dancers on Tuesday’s Dancing With the Stars results show are pictured above. They are … Apolo Ohno and Emmitt Smith! It’s an all-female final! Unsurprisingly, Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough made it through to the DWTS finals, as did Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony Dovolani. At the very last minute, it was also revealed that Kelly Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy will also be performing in next week’s finale, outlasting Emmitt. “After tonight, this show has lost a good chunk of charisma,” co-host Tom Bergeron candidly remarked after the results were revealed, and rightly so. Just the same, Apolo and Emmitt were gracious in defeat, and Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Johnson and Kelly Monaco are all captivating in their own right. What do you think? Who will win? The Voice Results: The Elite Eight Are …

The Voice results shows are getting tougher and tougher. After Monday’s performances, almost all of the 10 remaining singers could make a strong case for continuing on, but only eight spots were left to be claimed. It’s anyone’s game to win – or lose – by virtue of the fact that America’s votes count for all the marbles this year. The coaches have no sway beyond words. So who’s out and who’s on to the great eight? The two eliminated singers this week are: Sylvia Yacoub and Bryan Keith of Teams Christina and Adam, respectively, are out. Team Cee Lo trio Nicholas David, Cody Belew and Trevin Hunte, Team Blake’s powerhouses Cassadee Pope and Terry McDermott, Team Christina’s lone representative Dez Duron and Team Adam’s Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown all move on to next Monday. Cee Lo remains in the lead with all three contestants still alive. Though the iTunes chart did dictate who went home last week, it didn’t reflect The Voice results tonight; Trevin and Cody were at the bottom of the charts in terms of downloads, but lived to sing another week. Cassadee actually reached #1 on iTunes last night, knocking off Gangnam Style . What do you think? Agree with the voters? Who will win it all? Tell us in the comments and vote in our surveys below: Did you agree with The Voice results tonight?   Yes, the results were right on. No, Sylvia should’ve stayed! No, Bryan should’ve stayed!
