No matter what Chris Harrison tries to tell you every year, The Bachelor is terrible at making actual love connections. But that doesn't mean the women who have appeared on either The Bachelorette or The Bachelor haven't eventually made a different kind of connection: that of egg and sperm. The following stars and contestants have all welcomed bundles of joy into their lives since becoming part of our lives on the small screen. 1. Jason Mesnick Jason Mesnick was already the father to an adorable boy named Ty when he met his wife-to-be, Molly, on his season of The Bachelor. Together, they are now also parents to a girl named Riley. 2. Desiree Hartsock Siegfried Desiree Hartsock Siegfried announced in April of 2016 that she and husband Chris, who met on Season 9 of The Bachelorette, are expecting their first child. 3. Trista Sutter The original! This first-ever Bachelorette has two children with her husband, Ryan: seven-year-old Maxwell and six-year-old Blakesley. 4. Renee Oteri Rejected by Juan Pablo on The Bachelor Season 18, Oteri got married and gave her 9-year-old son Ben (pictured here) a little brother to play with; Oteri and her husband welcomed Jax in January 2015. 5. Ashley Rosenbaum Hey! A successful Bachelorette couple! Ashley and JP welcomed their first child in September 2014 and named him Fordham. 6. Melissa Rycroft Melissa Rycroft has rebounded nicely after being rejected by Jason Mesnick. She has a daughter named Ava and a son named Beckett with her husband, Tye. View Slideshow

The Bachelor & The Bachelorette: 27 Most Stunning Exits Ever!

In the past 14 years, The Bachelor & Bachelorette have given us plenty of shockers, from emotional meltdowns to twists we never saw coming. Usually, these events result – or stem from – an elimination. Or a dramatic departure of one's own volition. Or someone being asked to leave by the show itself. Or just a really, really bad breakup. With the TV cameras rolling to document it all, obviously. Suddenly it's no surprise that this franchise has left such a mark on the genre, airing for more than THIRTY seasons, with no end in sight. The men, women and moments featured on this list made their way onto it for very diverse reasons. Often through no fault of their own. All provided images we won't soon forget, however … at least not 'til the next season airs and we have to update this list (see #27). Here's a look back at the most shocking exits in the nearly decade-and-a-half history of The Bachelor and  The Bachelorette  … 1. DeAnna Pappas AND Jenni Croft The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected! 2. Jason Mesnick DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks. 3. Melissa Rycroft Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, and have a beautiful daughter. 4. Reid Rosenthal Reid Rosenthal bolted The Bachelorette of his own volution during the final three … then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart … only by then she had already chosen Ed Swiderski to be her fiance. 5. Ed Swiderski Ed, too, left in the middle of that same season of The Bachelorette … only to return and WIN Jillian Harris’ final rose. His shady, cheating ways soon caught up with him, however, and the lovable Canadian decided to List It, Not Love It … see what we did there?! 6. Rozlyn Papa In Season 14, starring Jake Pavelka, Rozlyn Papa got the boot at a rose ceremony … after getting a rose! Say what? Yes, she allegedly had a fling with one of The Bachelor staff members. Melissa Rycroft: Pregnant with Baby #3!

Party of Five Alert! Party of Five Alert! No, Fox is not bringing back this incredible former drama. Instead, Melissa Rycroft is making an important, exciting announcement. The former contestant on The Bachelor jumped on Instagram on Wednesday to make an adorable reveal: she’s pregnant with baby number-three! “This is definitely the last one…probably… #partyoffive #babyonboard #maybethisonewilllooklikeme,” Rycroft wrote as a caption to the above image. She included with it an emoji of a baby’s face and a bottle, while smiling broadly alongside husband Tye Strickland, her daughter and her son. Rycroft, of course, was originally chosen as the love of Bachelor star Jason Mesnick’s life. But he then broke up with her on the After the Rose special and selected Molly Malaney instead. All has worked out well for everyone involved, however, as Jason and Molly have a child of their own. Rycroft, meanwhile, went on to compete in Dancing With the Stars season eight and actually win the All Stars season with partner Tony Dovolani. But she’s clearly happiest playing the role of loving wife and mother. “I’m a lucky girl,” Melissa recently wrote on Twitter while posing with her kids. “Heading on our next adventure!!! #mamaisworking #travelingfamilycircus.” We send our best wishes to this beauty and her expanding family! Melissa Rycroft Reveals Gender of Second Baby: What Is It?!?

Melissa Rycroft is feeling blue at the moment. But for a very exciting reason. The former The Bachelor contestant is pregnant with a boy! Rycroft, husband Tye Strickland and daughter Ava confirmed this news via an adorable photo on Instagram and an interview wit Us Weekly. “Tye, he’s such a guy’s guy, so personally I’m really happy he gets to do all his boy stuff,” Rycroft tells the magazine of her second child. “It’s so funny the first thing out of his mouth was, ‘I feel so much responsibility now!’ I was like, ‘Um have you not felt it the past two and a half years?’ “I guess there’s something to be said about the same sex parent taking the bulk of [responsibility].” Rycroft is 17 weeks along in he pregnancy and says the family is still preparing for its impending addition. “I haven’t started the nursery or anything yet,” Melissa says. “Tye and I have been tossing names back and forth and it’ll probably be a process.” And will this be the couple’s final child? Rycroft can’t really say in either direction. “We talk about if we had a third it wouldn’t matter if it’s a boy or girl because we have one of each. So never say never! We always said three was our number, and we may stop at two — or we may keep going!”

Dancing With the Stars Results: And The Winner Is …

Melissa Rycroft. Shawn Johnson. Kelly Monaco. The fall season of Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars came down to tonight, with the Olympic gymnast and soap opera star seeking their second Mirror Ball. Did they add to their trophy case? Or did The Bachelor winner enter the winner’s circle for the first time after entering part two of the finale as a slight favorite? Based on Monday’s Dancing With the Stars scores , Melissa held a narrow edge, but all have been so consistently solid, America couldn’t really get it wrong. Or could we? Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker?

The tension ran high on this evening’s Dancing With the Stars results show. Based on the scores from the semifinal round , any of the five remaining All-Stars could make a strong case for advancing … but were also at risk for going home. It’s DWTS , after all. You’re always in jeopardy until you learn you’re not. So which two were cut, and which three advanced? The two ousted dancers on Tuesday’s Dancing With the Stars results show are pictured above. They are … Apolo Ohno and Emmitt Smith! It’s an all-female final! Unsurprisingly, Shawn Johnson and her partner Derek Hough made it through to the DWTS finals, as did Melissa Rycroft and her partner Tony Dovolani. At the very last minute, it was also revealed that Kelly Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy will also be performing in next week’s finale, outlasting Emmitt. “After tonight, this show has lost a good chunk of charisma,” co-host Tom Bergeron candidly remarked after the results were revealed, and rightly so. Just the same, Apolo and Emmitt were gracious in defeat, and Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Johnson and Kelly Monaco are all captivating in their own right. What do you think? Who will win? It’s week three on Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars and the competition is heating up, with the All-Stars going all out to prove that they are in fact All-Stars. Cue Shawn Johnson. Shawn Johnson – Dancing With the Stars Week 3 In a night of flawless performances, the tiny Olympian stood out most thanks to a quickstep filled with trampoline flips, aerial tosses and fun choreography. The judges proclaimed the dance one of the best in 15 seasons. “Spectacular. Unforgettable,” Bruno Tonioli gushed. “Best. Dance. Ever.” echoed Carrie Ann Inaba. Even more amazing? Carson Kressley, Sabrina Bryan or Kyle Massey: Who Should Join Dancing With the Stars All-Stars?

Carson Kressley, Sabrina Bryan and Kyle Massey are presently vying for the 13th and final spot on the Dancing With the Stars All-Stars cast . The winner, determined by fan voting on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars official site, will be announced Monday, August 27 as the last All-Star. The trio appeared on GMA this week to stump (and dance) for votes. The three contenders did some good-natured campaigning, as well as move-busting, as they vie for the spot on the show’s first-ever All-Star season. Pamela Anderson, Emmitt Smith, Kelly Monaco, Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft, Kirstie Alley, Joey Fatone, Drew Lachey, Gilles Marini, Apolo Ohno, Bristol Palin and Helio Castroneves are already on board for the fall. Bristol and Kyle, of course, were rumored to be dating, and he claims Lifetime stole his idea for Bristol’s reality show … so that could be awkward. Who do you think the 13th cast member should be?
