The following stars and contestants have all welcomed bundles of joy into their lives since becoming part of our lives on the small screen. 1. Jason Mesnick Jason Mesnick was already the father to an adorable boy named Ty when he met his wife-to-be, Molly, on his season of The Bachelor. Ben Higgins to Marry Lauren Bushnell… REALLY SOON!

Some time in the near future, Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are getting married . No, wait, the wedding between Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell has been called off ! Contrasting reports regarding the latest winner of The Bachelor and his chosen suitor have gone viral over the past few weeks, confusing fans desperate to see another successful relationship spring from this show. So, which is it? Are Ben and Lauren closer than ever to saying “I Do” or to saying “See Ya?” According to Us Weekly, it’s the former, as that magazine claims the famous tandem “will get married very soon, probably this summer. Yes, the tabloid adds, these nuptials would be televised as an “ABC special.” Higgins rejected new Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher toward the end of his featured season, proceeding to propose to Bushnell during the finale’s taping in Jamaica. They actually do seem like a very happy couple, but how often have you heard that about Bachelors and their fiancees before? Just prior to the relationship coming to a not-so-surprising end? View Slideshow: Lauren Bushnell: Ben Higgins’ Bachelor Bride-to-Be! Ever since his season concluded, though, Higgins and his 25-year old love have been “very happy,” a source tells Us Weekly, saying of Ben and Lauren : “They’re making it work a lot better than past people have done in their shoes,” adds the source. Why would they film their nuptials for a national audience? Money. No… wait. That isn’t it. “We want to share our life with everyone who’s been supportive,” says Bushnell, who recently moved into Higgins’ Denver home. “And that includes Bachelor Nation.” If this wedding special makes it to air, Ben and Lauren would become the fifth Bachelor couple to exchange vows in front of network cameras. Trista and Ryan Sutter started this trend in 2003 and were followed by: Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney wed in 2010; Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum in 2012; and Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici in January 2014. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Stars Ranked By Relationship Length

The Bachelor & The Bachelorette: 27 Most Stunning Exits Ever!

In the past 14 years, The Bachelor & Bachelorette have given us plenty of shockers, from emotional meltdowns to twists we never saw coming. Usually, these events result – or stem from – an elimination. Or a dramatic departure of one's own volition. Or someone being asked to leave by the show itself. Or just a really, really bad breakup. With the TV cameras rolling to document it all, obviously. Suddenly it's no surprise that this franchise has left such a mark on the genre, airing for more than THIRTY seasons, with no end in sight. The men, women and moments featured on this list made their way onto it for very diverse reasons. Often through no fault of their own. All provided images we won't soon forget, however … at least not 'til the next season airs and we have to update this list (see #27). Here's a look back at the most shocking exits in the nearly decade-and-a-half history of The Bachelor and  The Bachelorette  … 1. DeAnna Pappas AND Jenni Croft The one that started it all: Brad Womack rejected Jenni Croft on his season finale, and looked poised to propose to fan favorite DeAnna Pappas … who he ALSO rejected! 2. Jason Mesnick DeAnna Pappas became The Bachelorette, and threw fans for a loop by rejecting beloved single father Jason Mesnick, who was so smitten with her, in favor of Jesse Csincsak … who she stayed engaged to for like two weeks. 3. Melissa Rycroft Jason Mesnick upped the ante on both Brad and DeAnna in the finale night shocker department. After getting engaged to Melissa Rycroft on his season finale, he dumped her … on the After the Final Rose special, in favor of runner-up Molly Malaney! At least this one had a happy ending, though: Jason and Molly are happily married, and have a beautiful daughter. 4. Reid Rosenthal Reid Rosenthal bolted The Bachelorette of his own volution during the final three … then returned to propose to Jillian Harris on the finale after a change of heart … only by then she had already chosen Ed Swiderski to be her fiance. 5. Ed Swiderski Ed, too, left in the middle of that same season of The Bachelorette … only to return and WIN Jillian Harris’ final rose. His shady, cheating ways soon caught up with him, however, and the lovable Canadian decided to List It, Not Love It … see what we did there?! 6. Rozlyn Papa In Season 14, starring Jake Pavelka, Rozlyn Papa got the boot at a rose ceremony … after getting a rose! Say what? Yes, she allegedly had a fling with one of The Bachelor staff members. Melissa Rycroft: Pregnant with Baby #3!

Party of Five Alert! Party of Five Alert! No, Fox is not bringing back this incredible former drama. Instead, Melissa Rycroft is making an important, exciting announcement. The former contestant on The Bachelor jumped on Instagram on Wednesday to make an adorable reveal: she’s pregnant with baby number-three! “This is definitely the last one…probably… #partyoffive #babyonboard #maybethisonewilllooklikeme,” Rycroft wrote as a caption to the above image. She included with it an emoji of a baby’s face and a bottle, while smiling broadly alongside husband Tye Strickland, her daughter and her son. Rycroft, of course, was originally chosen as the love of Bachelor star Jason Mesnick’s life. But he then broke up with her on the After the Rose special and selected Molly Malaney instead. All has worked out well for everyone involved, however, as Jason and Molly have a child of their own. Rycroft, meanwhile, went on to compete in Dancing With the Stars season eight and actually win the All Stars season with partner Tony Dovolani. But she’s clearly happiest playing the role of loving wife and mother. “I’m a lucky girl,” Melissa recently wrote on Twitter while posing with her kids. “Heading on our next adventure!!! #mamaisworking #travelingfamilycircus.” We send our best wishes to this beauty and her expanding family! News of his supposed coming out soon provoked myriad responses and re-tweets, with reactions ranging from amused to surprised to apathetic. The “Dive In” singer soon hit back at the tricksters responsible, denying that he’s gay and ripping those that made crude comments at his expense, “The things you people craft up with hatred in your hearts … the things people believe without question, or validity, all baffles me,” he said. “Photoshop and a retweet is all people need to believe, any and everything. I feel bad for the impressionable, no minds of their own,” he added later. “If I’m gay then Tupac bringing me a ounce for this session wit Biggie tomorrow,” Songz concluded. “No weapon. #LOVE. Elizabeth Kitt and Ty Brown: Married!

At least Bachelor Nation has one happy ending to celebrate this month. The Bachelor star Elizabeth Kitt and Bachelorette star Ty Brown are married! The couple tied the knot Saturday, March 15 in a beautiful, rustic ceremony in Kingston Spring, Tenn. Check out the photo of the newlyweds here: Take that, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell … or something! “The ceremony took place yesterday in our barn on our wooded property,” the duo told Us . “We had just immediate family in attendance. We wrote our own vows.” “The ceremony was very intimate and personal.” Elizabeth Kitt, for the uninitiated, appeared on Jake Pavelka’s season of The Bachelor and went on to be featured in the first season of Bachelor Pad . Ty Brown starred in Ali Fedotowsky’s season of The Bachelorette that year (Ali was also rejected by Jake, who somehow picked Vienna Girardi). The duo met at a charity event in Los Angeles and has been dating since January 2013. They got engaged in October 2013, and the rest is history. As for the wedding day itself? “The weather was sunny, warm and perfect,” they said. “Afterward we lit a bonfire, and Ty and his backup singer Dustin Miller played well into the night.” “It really was the perfect day!” Congratulations! Adam Driver to Play Main Villain in Star Wars: Episode VII?

The force may soon be with Adam Driver. In a surprising piece of casting news broken by Variety, the Girls star is nearing a deal to appear in Star Wars: Episode VII as that blockbuster’s main villain. Details on the role are vague at the moment, but character is said to be “in the vein” of Darth Vader . Driver was a relative no-name prior to being cast opposite Lena Dunham as Hannah’s boyfriend on Girls. But he is currently shooting Warner Bros.’ “Midnight Special” and is attached to Martin Scorsese’s “Silence” (also starring Andrew Garfield and Liam Neeson) and his stock is clearly on the rise. If this report is accurate, Driver will be the first new cast member to be revealed for this wildly-anticipated follow-up. It will be directed by J.J. Abrams and released in theaters on December 18, 2015. Look for a deal with Driver, and other additions to the franchise, to be finalized over the coming weeks.
