Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum: Expecting a Boy!

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting a boy baby together this year, they announced after the big reveal at the doctor’s office this week. “I definitely saw J.P.’s profile on the ultrasound,” said Hebert, 30. “I’m gonna be living with two J.P.s !” “As excited as I am for this, I think I’m just as excited for my parents,” Rosenbaum, 37, added. “This is their first grandchild and [now] the Rosenbaum name lives on. Not to mention that my dad already called dibs on his first baseball mitt.” In June, Ashley Hebert will finish her dental residency in Philadelphia. Then she and J.P. will focus on nesting in anticipation of their son’s arrival in October: “I’m a planner, so finding out the baby’s sex early definitely makes things easier on us when planning for the future. I’ve already started shopping for cute outfits!” “Now all I have to do is convince J.P. that he actually really loves the name I picked out.” What name will that be? She didn’t say, but it’s been love at first sight for this couple. Hebert and Rosenbaum met on Season 7 of ABC’s The Bachelorette , with Rosenbaum proposing on the finale after she said goodbye to Ben Flajnik. Previously, she made it to the final three on Brad Womack’s second stint as The Bachelor . In 2012, the couple were married during a televised ceremony. Ashley Hebert: Pregnant with First Child!

Former star of The Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is pregnant and expecting her first child with her husband and 2011 final rose recipient, J.P. Rosenbaum. The self-described “cool dentist,” Hebert first won hearts as a contestant on Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor (the second), only to finish in third place. Ashley Hebert , 29, later went on to star on The Bachelorette, where she first met J.P. Rosenbaum, 36. He proposed in Fiji on the finale, and they wed in 2012. Their wedding was aired on ABC, just like Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici nuptials earlier this year. The couple now lives together in New Jersey. “Whenever we’re around each other, it’s just easy and comfortable and fun,” Rosenbaum famously said on the show. “It’s a chemistry you can’t ignore.” “It’s just there.” “I can’t be without her. I don’t want to picture a life without her. I am more confident with the direction this relationship is heading than I’ve ever been.” Congratulations to the happy, expectant couple … and we’re still waiting for those three words and eight letters, Juan Pablo ! Anderson Cooper Proud of Homosexuality: What a Blessing!

He may not have come out of the closet until last summer, but Anderson Cooper tells The Huffington Post in a new interview that he’s never questioned his sexuality, not even when “I was a little kid.” “I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t aware of it, even before I knew what it was or the name of it,” Cooper says . Moreover, the CNN host – who faced oral sex simulation from Kathy Griffin on New Year’s Eve – think “being gay is a blessing” and he “couldn’t be more proud” of his preference. In 1988, Cooper’s brother committed suicide – and Anderson opens up to the website about that event and how he links it to his sexuality. “If you feel like an outsider, you tend to observe things a lot more,” he said. “Early on I felt very much like an observer, because I knew I was gay, I knew I was somehow different. “If you learn the language of loss early, I think you seek out others who have experienced the same thing, who speak that same language of loss.” GLAAD will honor Cooper on March 16 with the Vito Russo Award, an accolade given to a LGBT member who has made an effort to promote equality. Sounds like it couldn’t go to a more deserving individual.

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: Will They Last?

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici got engaged Monday on The Bachelor finale , then went and dropped the “bombshell” that they want to marry on ABC. The future looked nothing but bright for the gushing couple last night, but the honeymoon (so to speak) is over, and the real work has yet to begin. Will their love last – and will they actually make it to the altar? Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: The Proposal As we know with franchise, the track record is not what you’d call good. Just a handful of unions have resulted from 16 Bachelors and seven Bachelorettes. In recent years, however, the results have somewhat improved, thanks to Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum. Past performance is not a perfect indicator of course, because every season – and couple – is different. Sean and Cat certainly have great chemistry. Still, some critics say that while the smitten pair has a blast together, there is something lacking, and building blocks of lasting love may elude them. Reaction to Sean and the happy-go-lucky, hilarious, bubbly Catherine Giudici definitely improved as the season progressed, but is still mixed. Some fans preferred him with runner-up Lindsay Yenter, third-place finisher AshLee Frazier or even The Bachelorette-in-waiting Desiree Hartsock . They certainly seem confident in their future, though, and if anyone seems grounded enough to make it last through this difficult phase, it’s Sean. Then again, he’s already going Dancing With the Stars … and we know how well that worked out for Jake Pavelka. We know, they’re not the same at all. Still, it makes you wonder. Can any relationship survive this adjustment period as the duo acclimates to real life? Some can, but some can not. Will Cat and Sean beat the odds? Time will tell. But you tell us for now: Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: Will they last?   YES. You can tell. They are made for each other. Maybe … not convinced, but not writing them off. No chance. I don’t see the connection! View Poll »

Reality Steve: Sued By The Bachelor!

In an interesting piece of TV news, The Bachelor is suing Stephen Carbone, a.k.a. Reality Steve, claiming $75,000 in damages, according to reports . NZK Productions and Alternative Television, Inc. take issue with his tactics of “soliciting information from participants, cast, crew and/or other employees” by “inducing them to breach their confidentiality obligations.” Steve has been posting lots of The Bachelor , Bachelorette and Bachelor Pad spoilers for years, and surprisingly detailed, mostly accurate ones at that. The wild ending of Jason Mesnick’s season of The Bachelor, when he dumped winner Melissa Rycroft for Molly Malaney after the show aired, was Steve’s first big scoop . It’s unclear who the mole is – Steve is just some dude from Texas who posts this stuff in long-winded rants on his personal site – but producers claim he’s liable for damages because those who participate sign confidentiality agreements. Several of his tactics are highlighted, like this one email: “Let me just say, I’m very well aware of your contract,” Carbone allegedly wrote an unnamed source. “I also know that over 500 contestants have been on this show and not one of them has ever been sued for the $5 million.” “It’s just a scare tactic. Trust me. Just like they had no idea you sent me that last email, they’ll have no idea about any correspondence either.” “I know you’re scared and a little paranoid, but don’t be. Unless they are hacking your email or tapping your phone, there’s absolutely no way for them to find out.” The suit also highlighted this email to a former contestant: “I’m aware you were eliminated at the SF rose ceremony, so I probably actually know more about what’s happened since you left than you do, however … I do have some blanks that need to be filled in during the early episodes.” “I’m aware of your contract, but no one would know of our conversing.” The producers claim to have sent cease-and-desist letters to Carbone earlier this year. Now they’re arguing his actions “constitute unfair and illegal business acts” and are “unscrupulous, immoral, unethical, oppressive and injurious.” Carbone did not respond to an email from EW . The Bachelor returns January 2, with Ben Flajnik in the starring role. Steve has yet to spoil who wins this coming spring. The Bachelor Recap: Jason & Molly’s Wedding

Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney became the first couple from The Bachelor to walk down the aisle February 27. ABC aired a two-hour special about it last night. In keeping with our tradition, THG endured the two-freaking-hour extravaganza to recap every bit of the action in our exclusive, highly scientific plus/minus index: Updates on past stars: Trista and Ryan are going strong; Ed Swiderski and Jillian Harris are doing well; A bunch of peeps we don’t remember are there too. Plus 5 . DeAnna Pappas, who Jason once proposed to, is dating Stephen Stagliano, … the twin of Michael Stagliano from Jillian’s season. This is just incestuous. Minus 3 . The stirring Chris Harrison commentary begins with the venerable host-pimp calling this “one of the most anticipated weddings of all time.” Of all time! Plus 11 . The Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney nuptials took place in the driving rain. Minus 4 for missed Alanis Morissette “Ironic” musical tie-in … okay, maybe Plus 4 . Not even a monsoon could dampen the spirits of Jason and Molly. In all seriousness, the event was quite romantic. Jason Castro’s “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” was a nice touch, and the setting made for great wedding photos . Plus 10 . Molly’s dress gets an additional Plus 7 too. By the end of the ceremony, they are totally soaked, but Jason and Molly don’t seem to care one bit. All those Bachelor hot tub scenes prepared them so well. Plus 4 . Minus 9 for Chris’ “Jason and Molly weathered the storm” eye-roller, though. Do they sit around thinking these up, or is the master of ceremonies that good on the fly? Gavin DeGraw performs “Follow Through.” Fitting. Wonder if Jason and Molly had heard of Gavin DeGraw prior to ABC setting this up? Either way, Plus 3 . Good song! It was a fairy tale moment … engineered by Mike Fleiss. The Bachelor is not about love. It is about ratings. That being said, genuine feelings definitely came out of Jason and Molly’s season, and the wedding special did a nice job of showcasing them as a couple in addition to the obligatory filler. Plus 11 . The franchise is still 2-for-19 though. 2-for-19! Minus 10 . Jason and Molly now embark on a South African safari honeymoon, which sounds like an absolute blast, provided Chris is cool crashing on the couch. Plus 7 . Odds of Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi taking part in a similar wedding special next season … or any season? Somewhere around 500:1. Minus 12 , Jake. TOTAL: +24. Congratulations to a happy couple we wish all the best to!
