Sharknado 3: Already Ordered by Syfy!

Syfy may be in danger of jumping the Sharknado. Months before the  Sharknado sequel airs, this cable network has ordered a third edition of the ridiculous franchise, one we can only imagine will be titled Sharknado 3: The Third One. The second will air on July 30 and be set in New York, with original Ian Ziering and Tara Reid on board for a return. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum: Expecting a Boy!

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting a boy baby together this year, they announced after the big reveal at the doctor’s office this week. “I definitely saw J.P.’s profile on the ultrasound,” said Hebert, 30. “I’m gonna be living with two J.P.s !” “As excited as I am for this, I think I’m just as excited for my parents,” Rosenbaum, 37, added. “This is their first grandchild and [now] the Rosenbaum name lives on. Not to mention that my dad already called dibs on his first baseball mitt.” In June, Ashley Hebert will finish her dental residency in Philadelphia. Then she and J.P. will focus on nesting in anticipation of their son’s arrival in October: “I’m a planner, so finding out the baby’s sex early definitely makes things easier on us when planning for the future. I’ve already started shopping for cute outfits!” “Now all I have to do is convince J.P. that he actually really loves the name I picked out.” What name will that be? She didn’t say, but it’s been love at first sight for this couple. Hebert and Rosenbaum met on Season 7 of ABC’s The Bachelorette , with Rosenbaum proposing on the finale after she said goodbye to Ben Flajnik. Previously, she made it to the final three on Brad Womack’s second stint as The Bachelor . In 2012, the couple were married during a televised ceremony. Man and Woman Missing After Diving Into River, Saving Child

Emergency crews are searching for a man and woman who jumped into the Big Sioux River in South Dakota to try to save a six-year-old child. The boy is safe, but Sioux Falls authorities said on Friday that the effort to find the two adults is now considered a recovery and no longer a rescue mission. Man and Woman Save Child, Go Missing in River The man and woman jumped into the river near Sioux Falls around 6 p.m. Thursday after the young boy fell in, according to local NBC affiliate KDLT. The woman is related to the child but is not his mother. The man is not a relative of the boy, KDLT reported. “By the time I got there he was already in there and they had him by the arm,” Napoleon Ducheneaux, a friend of the man who dove in, told KDLT. “They had the kid in his arm and he slipped and fell. And then not too long after that, the kid popped up a little bit to the right and climbed up the rocks by himself.” The two adults found themselves in trouble. “I heard him and the woman talking. He said something like, ‘You hold on to me, I’ll hold on to you.’ And I kept telling them to come to my voice,” Ducheneaux said. The two then slipped under the water Sioux Falls Fire Rescue Chief Jim Sideras said, “We have some issues with very thick ice that we are trying to address. We also have a high flow of water because of ice melting. “We have a lot of foam. We have on the scene crews who are trained in swift water rescue and ice rescue. We also have on site a dive team.” “Because of the thickness of the ice, it’s not possible for that team to go in.” Sideras reported that the boy was safe with family members. “I was with him and he’s with family members, and he’s doing fine,” Sideras said.

Or so it would appear, given a pair of news stories in the last day: Jason and Molly Mesnick welcoming their first child, a baby girl. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum sharing honeymoon pics! It’s as if these couples – two huge success stories from the ABC franchise – are trying to prove to Sean and Cat that it is possible to beat the odds. Nearly three months after their wedding, Ashley and J.P. are going strong. Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum: The Dream Non-Wedding!

Unswayed by the recent breakup of Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Matinez, Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum from The Bachelorette are still going strong and supposedly planning their dream wedding … albeit a long way in advance. This cover makes it seem imminent, though: As recently as November 4, Ashley Hebert said she had no wedding date set, and that as happy as she was with J.P., they were taking things (relatively) slowly. The couple isn’t waiting too long, and will “start talking about [weddings] in the New Year,” assured J.P., who bested current Bachelor Ben Flajnik last season. For now, though, they’re just enjoying what downtime they have and getting used to living together in New York – which is great, but don’t believe the hype. A couple of vague quotes don’t mean nuptials are imminent – that’s not even a new pic! – no matter how badly a celeb news weekly wants to sell magazines. Ashley and J.P.: Will it last?
