Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum are expecting a boy baby together this year, they announced after the big reveal at the doctor’s office this week. “I definitely saw J.P.’s profile on the ultrasound,” said Hebert, 30. “I’m gonna be living with two J.P.s !” “As excited as I am for this, I think I’m just as excited for my parents,” Rosenbaum, 37, added. “This is their first grandchild and [now] the Rosenbaum name lives on. Not to mention that my dad already called dibs on his first baseball mitt.” In June, Ashley Hebert will finish her dental residency in Philadelphia. Then she and J.P. will focus on nesting in anticipation of their son’s arrival in October: “I’m a planner, so finding out the baby’s sex early definitely makes things easier on us when planning for the future. I’ve already started shopping for cute outfits!” “Now all I have to do is convince J.P. that he actually really loves the name I picked out.” What name will that be? She didn’t say, but it’s been love at first sight for this couple. The Bachelor is introducing a new spinoff this summer, entitled Bachelor in Paradise … seriously. ABC will air a six-episode season after The Bachelorette finale. The show will be similar in format to ABC’s Bachelor Pad, which was canceled last year, only Bachelor in Paradise will be filmed in a tropical destination. The network confirmed the spinoff to EW in a statement: “The romantic dating series will feature new twists, shocking surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in Bachelor history.” “Plus the usual romance, drama and tears we’ve come to expect from The Bachelor franchise. It all comes together in the romantic TV event of the summer.” Bachelor in Paradise stars will be based in a remote “romantic paradise,” where they will compete to find their true loves, or at least a hot hookup. Naturally, ABC is expected to bring back villains and fan favorites from prior seasons to compete against and possibly find significant others. No, Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell won’t be on it … we don’t think. As on The Bachelor, the spinoff will include a rose ceremony, although the format may be slightly different from the weekly sending home of a star. Details are scarce, but we’ll find them out soon enough. After Andi Dorfman is done with her emotional and romantic “journey” this summer, we’ll head to Paradise for even more Bachelor shenanigans. Catherine Giudici is officially a Lowe. The Bachelor winner took her husband’s last name following her fairy tale TV nuptials with Sean Lowe last month. The switch is official, as Catherine Giudici proudly declared, “The best day of my life. I’m a Lowe!” to her 500,000 Twitter and Instagram followers. The newlyweds have just returned from a romantic honeymoon in the tropics, and Sean says he is “so freakin’ happy” with how it all turned out. Married life does seem to suit the couple rather well. Since returning from her honeymoon, she’s been posting photos of her and her new husband cuddling in bed, as well as photos from her wedding. The two had their doubters when he picked her on The Bachelor, but he was true to his word that she was the one – and he was willing to wait for her. Seriously. They passed a premarital sex polygraph . In making the name change, Cat follows in the footsteps of Bachelorette Trista Rehn, took her husband Ryan Sutter’s last name after their marriage. Molly Malaney, who married former Bachelor Jason Mesnick in 2011, did the same, although Ashley Hebert did not take J.P. Rosenbaum’s last name. Desiree Hartsock is engaged to Chris Siegfried, and they seem like they’re going to make it, so we’ll see if she goes the Lowe route soon enough. As for Juan Pablo and his chosen bride? His dad Jay officiated the ceremony and called the romance of the duo, who got engaged in late 2012, “an epic fairytale on display for the whole world to see.” Sean Lowe , 30, watched Giudici, 27, walk down the aisle in a Monique Lhuillier gown. Soon enough, the beautiful bride was tearing up as she read her vows. “The first time that I saw you, you were like a light to my bug. I had to find you. You mesmerize me with how brightly you shine,” Catherine told him at the altar. “Sometimes I feel like I’m going to explode by how much I love you … I’m completely consumed by you … I promise to love you after my heart bursts.” “You are my dream and my reality.” “From the moment I met you I wanted more. Following their somewhat surprising engagement Monday on The Bachelorette season finale and their emotional After the Final Rose reunion, we can happily report that yes, Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez are still together. We may not have seen the last of them on ABC, either. Amid recent breakups of Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski, and more scandalously Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi, the idea of Ali Fedotowsky and her man making it to the altar will obviously have skeptics. But they’re off to a good start. Roberto hasn’t slept with half of Chicago during his sequestration period like Ed, nor is he insane, controlling and altogether phony like Jake. As for Ali and Vienna … we don’t have to explain. Ali and Roberto are moving to San Diego and planning a Spring 2011 wedding! The two certainly appeared happy and overjoyed to be reunited in their appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and Good Morning America last night and today.
