I really, really love it,” Lindsay gushes. “I love working with all the young children.” Looking ahead, “I hope to continue teaching and find Mr. Right and have a family. I want a normal life, I really enjoyed this opportunity, but I am just a normal girl.” “I’m glad that everything is [out of the way] and I can just move on with life. I can just enjoy the normalcy of not being able to hide anymore.” Who do you think Sean should have picked on The Bachelor?   Lindsay Yenter Catherine Giudici View Poll »

Puddle Jump Fail: Springtime Fun Goes Too Far

Whether you’re young or just young at heart, few feelings compare to the joy of jumping in a puddle after a spring rain … unless said puddle is several feet deep. When a friend offered him a buck to splash around in what he believed to be a run-of-the-mill puddle, this poor guy just couldn’t resist the offer. Who could? What looked like a puddle was more like a sinkhole, though. Watch: Puddle Jump Fail Two questions come to mind here: What was going through his mind the second he plunged into that? Why is there no tape, sign or traffic cones around that thing?!

Catherine Giudici and Sean Lowe: We’re Getting Married SOON!

The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici are not only convinced they’ve found everlasting love on ABC, they’re planning on getting married fast! They’re also planning on tying the knot Bachelor style. Televised. “It’s just fitting,” Sean Lowe says of fast-tracking a TV wedding. We’re sure it is, but that it’s also motivated by two factors: ABC paying them an ass ton of money to do so. His unwillingness to get it in before marriage. That will light a fire under them for sure! In any case, Catherine Giudici, 26, says she can’t wait to wed ASAP: “Everything in our relationship has been documented so far. It’s right for us!” Sean, 29, actually proposed in Thailand four months ago. Now that they can now finally proclaim their love after The Bachelor finale , expect it to grow even stronger as they both bask in the bliss, they say. Said Sean last night on the After the Final Rose special: “We’ve been harboring this secret for so long. We just want some normalcy, to go out to eat, hold hands and do all the things that couples do!” “We don’t have a wedding date yet,” he adds, “But we’ve kicked around a lot of ideas , most of which are silly and fun. We just want it to be a big party.” Silly and fun, as fans know, were two traits that won Cat the final rose over Lindsay Yenter, AshLee Frazier and Bachelorette-to-be Desiree Hartsock . “I just love being around her,” The Bachelor gushes. “We had the friendship as well as the romance. I love her so much. I know this is meant to be.” Following the proposal, Lowe and Giudici kept up communication through text messages, phone calls and Skype, and a few incognito rendezvous. “Every one or two weekends we would get to meet up and be locked up in a house somewhere,” says Lowe, 29. “We loved every minute of it!” Man. So much hugging must have gone on during those trips. What do you think: Will Sean and Catherine make it last?   YES. You can tell. They are made for each other. Maybe … not convinced, but not writing them off. No chance. I don’t see the connection! View Poll »

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: Will They Last?

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici got engaged Monday on The Bachelor finale , then went and dropped the “bombshell” that they want to marry on ABC. The future looked nothing but bright for the gushing couple last night, but the honeymoon (so to speak) is over, and the real work has yet to begin. Will their love last – and will they actually make it to the altar? Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: The Proposal As we know with franchise, the track record is not what you’d call good. Just a handful of unions have resulted from 16 Bachelors and seven Bachelorettes. In recent years, however, the results have somewhat improved, thanks to Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney and Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum. Past performance is not a perfect indicator of course, because every season – and couple – is different. Sean and Cat certainly have great chemistry. Still, some critics say that while the smitten pair has a blast together, there is something lacking, and building blocks of lasting love may elude them. Reaction to Sean and the happy-go-lucky, hilarious, bubbly Catherine Giudici definitely improved as the season progressed, but is still mixed. Some fans preferred him with runner-up Lindsay Yenter, third-place finisher AshLee Frazier or even The Bachelorette-in-waiting Desiree Hartsock . They certainly seem confident in their future, though, and if anyone seems grounded enough to make it last through this difficult phase, it’s Sean. Then again, he’s already going Dancing With the Stars … and we know how well that worked out for Jake Pavelka. We know, they’re not the same at all. Still, it makes you wonder. Can any relationship survive this adjustment period as the duo acclimates to real life? Some can, but some can not. Will Cat and Sean beat the odds? Time will tell. But you tell us for now: Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici: Will they last?   YES. You can tell. They are made for each other. Maybe … not convinced, but not writing them off. No chance. I don’t see the connection! View Poll »

After the emotional hometown dates, overnight dates and Women Tell All Special, it all comes down to Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter. Ryan Seacrest Praises Charlie Askew as "Courageous"

American Idol announced its Top 10 of Season 12 last night and, to no one’s surprise, Charlie Askew was not among the group of finalists. The contestant suffered through a mini meltdown on Wednesday night, struggling through a rendition of “Mama” and then confiding to Ryan Seacrest on stage that he’s really an unhappy individual. Charlie Askew – “Mama” “I was impressed that he was courageous enough [to] talk about it,” Seacrest told Access Hollywood yesterday. “But I could tell when he was singing and when he was standing there and the judges were talking to him… he was going through a tough time.” Seacrest handled Askew’s admission – that his smile masks his discontent – with aplomb and support on stage, adding at the show’s party in Los Angeles last night: “I think something’s going on and I just wanted him to know that we know him, we’ve gotten to know him well. And if he needs a friend… we’re there as a friend.”

Sean Lowe "Still Happy" With The Bachelor Winner, Chris Harrison Promises

Sean Lowe is still happy with his decision, The Bachelor’s Chris Harrison says. And you don’t even need The Bachelor spoilers to guess the result, he adds. “Going into the finale, I knew [who he would pick],” he told E! News this week. That was a stark contrast from the hometown dates, when he had “no idea.” On Monday night’s season finale, Sean chooses between his two finalists, Catherine Giudici and Lindsay Yenter. Opinion is split on who fans prefer. Harrison won’t give away who wins (the link above takes care of that if you must know), but promises Sean is ” definitely still happy ” with the outcome. Despite backlash from fans for eliminating Desiree Hartsock and AshLee Frazier , Sean has no regrets about his final two, or his fiancee, Chris says. “He was happy with Lindsay and Catherine [as the final two],” Harrison adds. “I think he aspires and hopes to have something like AshLee represents, I think that’s what his parents have. But I also think that in the end he realized he’s just not there yet.” “She’s a little more mature and further along. Catherine and Lindsay are younger at heart and more fancy-free, where he can think, ‘OK, that’s a little more me right now.'” Chris also says Sean’s values made for a great season. “Sean is a really religious guy and a man of high moral fiber, which he got from his family,” the host with the most explains. “So that’s the way the season went.” “If he would have been a playboy, it would have been a different season. I don’t think everyone can be like that, it’s just not in him, and that made things interesting and very real.” And a very real relief for his final rose recipient to know he didn’t also get it in with two other girls in the Fantasy Suite. There’s that benefit as well. Who do you want to win The Bachelor?   Lindsay Yenter Catherine Giudici View Poll »
