World’s Smallest Horse

A miniature horse named Einstein and is competing for the title of world’s smallest horse. As of now, the Guinness Book of Records has not verified yet if Einstein could hold the title of the world’s smallest horse. Married couple Charles Cantrell and Dr. Rachel Wagner is the owner and has bred the pint-sized pony in the US. The half-pint foal was born April 25, 2010 at Tiz A Miniature Horse Farm in Barnstead, New Hampshire. The one-week-old youngster stands at 14 inches (35.6cm) tall, weighs about 6lb (2.7kg) and is 7 inches shorter than the average miniature young horse. The average miniature horse weighs 18 pounds at birth and stands 21 inches tall. The miniature horse was named after the scientist Albert Einstein. According to Cantrell, this is to remind the people to be intelligent when buying miniature horses because their small size makes them even more susceptible to predators. Their body built can’t handle extreme weather unlike the bigger horses. The owner must have a background on how to raise them.
