Phil Mickelson won the 2013 British Open Championship with a superb final round as the other contenders, including Tiger Woods, faded from contention. Mickelson captured the famed Claret Jug for the first time and his fifth major championship with a 5-under 66 Sunday, tied for the best round of the week.
