Amanda Bynes does not hold back when it comes to the weed … or the munchies. We don’t know that for sure, because we weren’t there, but we do know she racked up a MASSIVE room service bill before getting booted out of her hotel Thursday. The one-woman Twitter tornado spent over TWO GRAND there in a week-plus. She was kicked out of the Ritz-Carlton for smoking weed in her room, as well as for being repeatedly rude to the staff (who she called “ugly” obviously). Amanda Bynes denies the allegations … but the bill does not help her cause. According to the hotel, she piled up nearly $9,000 in charges, much of it coming from her $700/night rate, but $2,389 of it just from room service. The 27-year-old spread that out over 40 separate room service orders (yes, forty), which breaks out to around $60 per order over her stint there. Even with the jacked up prices on those $17 pancakes, holy munchies girl.

So, Geraldo Rivera posted a nude selfie on Twitter. Last night, the TV personality went on Twitter to post the above photo, writing “70 is the new 50 (Erica and family are going to be so pissed… but at my age…).” That would be his wife, Erica Michelle Levy, whom he married in 2003 and with whom he has a daughter, Solita, 8. He has four other kids ages 19-34. The three main takeaways from this story: Geraldo does look good for 70 He really needs a new phone It’s a slow news weekend

Paula Deen has been laying low following her now-infamous racism scandal, which saw Food Network axe her show and her biggest sponsors cut ties with her. At least one star wants to boost her comeback, however. Dancing With the Stars’ Cheryl Burke says Deen would make a great contestant, and that coming on board the ABC hit would help her image rehab. “I think that you’d probably see a different side of her and I think she would be a great addition to the cast,” the pro ballroom dancer told ET Canada. “Doing something light and fun would be good for her.” Interestingly enough, Paula Deen had apparently been invited to join Dancing With the Stars back in 2010, but the queen of comfort food recipes declined. “They did ask me and I said no,” she told Extra then. “Fat girls don’t look good sweating!” Since then, however, things have changed. Instead of the tried and true Paula Deen recipes , she has embraced a healthier lifestyle and lost weight. In addition to dropping 40 pounds, she’s been dropped by so many corporate partners that a stint on DWTS might be just the ticket to turning things around. Wissam Al Mana, the Qatari billionaire who married Janet Jackson earlier this year, is being accused of firing a female employee for reporting rape. Marte Deborah Dalelv says she was axed by his interior design company, Al Mana Interiors, after reporting being raped on a business trip to Dubai. Wissam Al Mana ‘s company denied this allegation in a statement: “Only when Ms. Dalelv declined to have positive, constructive discussions about her status, and ceased communication with her employer, was the company forced to end our relationship with her.” “The decision had nothing to do with the rape allegation, and unfortunately neither Ms. Dalelv nor her attorneys have chosen to contact the company to discuss her employment status.” However, an alleged copy of the letter Dalelv received informing her of her termination by the company says she was fired for her own improper conduct. And then there’s this fact: Dalelv has been sentenced to 16 months in prison in Dubai on charges of unlawful sex, making a false statement and illegal consumption of alcohol. According to Al Mana’s former employee, a male colleague “dragged” her by her purse into his hotel room after offering to escort her back to hers. She woke up some time later being raped with her clothes off, she says. Later, when she could escape, Dalelv called the cops, who asked her: “Are you sure you called the police because you just didn’t like it?” Dalelv claims she was given a medical exam, but then was put in jail for four days with no explanation as to why before eventually being released. She was charged with sex outside marriage and public consumption of alcohol, both of which are against the law in the United Arab Emirates (seriously). Dalelv is not married, but sex outside marriage is still illegal. She says that subsequently, her manager from Al Mana’s company told her to say the sex was voluntary and then the whole issue would go away. Dalelv took the advice at one of the hearings, saying the sex was voluntary … and then she says she was charged with making a false statement. “That was my biggest regret,” she tells CNN of that move. “It wasn’t voluntary. I just thought it would all go away.” A rep for Al Mana Interiors tells CNN that she was not advised by her manager to say that the sex was consensual but rather by a police officer. Dalelv says that a month after the rape, while she has been forced to stay in Dubai at the Norwegian embassy, she was fired from Al Mana Interiors. She is now appealing her 16 month sentence. The perpetrator, a married Sudanese man, was charged with public intoxication and having sex outside of marriage and was sentenced to 13 months.

Phil Mickelson won the 2013 British Open Championship with a superb final round as the other contenders, including Tiger Woods, faded from contention. Mickelson captured the famed Claret Jug for the first time and his fifth major championship with a 5-under 66 Sunday, tied for the best round of the week. Phil Mickelson Wins British Open The left-hander birdied four of the last six holes to win by three shots and emphatically erase the memory of this year’s U.S. Open heartbreak. “This is such an accomplishment for me,” Mickelson said. “I never knew if I’d be able to develop the game and the shots to play links golf effectively.” “To play what is arguably the best round of my career, to putt the way I putted, to shoot the round of my life, it just feels amazing to win the Claret Jug.” Mickelson, 43, has eight runner-up finishes in golf’s four major tournaments, but has now won three of the four in his remarkable Hall of Fame career. Congrats, Phil!
