Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr made their public debut as a couple last night, less than two years after he was busted cheating on his wife with her. The 37-year-old country singer and his one-time mistress made their first appearance together since he split from his wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery . Jason Aldean and Brittany Kerr , first linked after they were caught kissing in public in 2012, looked as happy as could be at the 2014 CMT Music Awards. The woman who stole Aldean’s heart (sort of literally) is an ex-cheerleader for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, an aspiring model and former American Idol hopeful. Jennifer Lopez memorably tried to send her home after her audition, but Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson overruled her, giving her a ticket to Hollywood. Aldean and Ussery, his wife of 10 years with whom he has two daughters, reportedly tried to make their marriage work, to no avail. Just seven months later, Aldean filed for divorce.
