Justin Theroux Finally Speaks on "Gentle" Jennifer Aniston Split

No one told Justin Theroux his life was gonna be this way. His job isn’t a joke. The guy definitely isn’t broke. And his love life, when it comes to Jennifer Aniston, was not DOA. But the marriage was put to sleep back in February of this year, as the famous couple ended their union after two and a half years. Did it die a slow and painful death, though? The former Leftover lead has said next to nothing about his split from America’s Sweetheart, remaining almost entirely mum on the topic until speaking to The New York Times for an article that went viral on Saturday. “The good news is that was probably the most – I’m choosing my words really carefully – it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity,” the 47-year old told the publication. He added: “In a weird way, just sort of navigating the inevitable perception of it is the exhausting part.” That perception, of course, is that someone cheated. Or there was some huge and ugly falling out. Or, of course, that Aniston just wants to get back together with Brad Pitt and this romance was destined to fail. Theroux and Aniston must have known that this is the sort of stuff people would say once they announced their divorce, so at least they were prepared to deal with the fallout. In reality, however, Theroux says here that the break-up did not come about due to any one significant issue. Rather, there were many small cracks that eventually led to an unfixable fissure. “These are actually in reality small events that take place,” he said, explaining as best he could to The Times: “But everything can feel like 10 on the Richter scale if you make the headline big enough and salacious enough.” Sources at the time mostly blamed the split on different lifestyles and different visions of the future. Aniston wanted to live full-time in Los Angeles, for example, while Theroux preferred New York. Now, seven months later, Theroux says he’s adjusting well, noting that breakups in Hollywood are different because of what he refers to as a “kind of carny lifestyle” with frequent scenery changes. “[It] doesn’t have that seismic shift of an ordinary couple, where everything is, like, you have to tear a baby in half,” he said. “Neither one of us is dead, neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It’s more like, it’s amicable. It’s boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be.” That really is pretty boring. Yet it also makes sense. It must be challening to keep a spark lit when each half of the couple has such a busy schedule and is traveling so often. “It was heartbreaking only in the sense that the friendship would not be the same, as far as just the day to day,” he concluded. “But the friendship is shifting and changing, you know, so that part is something that we’re both very proud of.” For her part, Aniston has clapped back against most of the BS out there . View Slideshow: 13 Friendliest Celebrity Break-Ups of All-Time “It’s pretty crazy,” she said in August. “The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career. “Or that I’m sad and heartbroken.” Having dealth with rumors about her womb and her love life forever and ever, Aniston rightfully went off this summer as follows: First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.

Amy Roloff Celebrates Anniversary with Chris Marek, Posts GORGEOUS Photos

Amy Roloff has officially won this week. We’re just gonna go ahead and call it now. That’s what happens when you get to celebrate both a birthday and an anniversary mere days apart, spending time wth those you love and counting your blessing at every turn. Indeed, the Little People, Big World star turned 52 years old on September 17. She marked the occasion by gathering with close friends and family members, as documented in THIS PHOTO GALLERY . Fast forward mere days and Amy marked a different special occasion with someone who may someday be a family member; Long-time boyfriend Chris Marek. As you can see above and below, in some rather intimate and downright gorgeous pictures, the TLC matriarch and her man got together on Saturday to celebrate two years as a couple. Wrote Amy as a caption to these images: Anniversary! What? Where did two years go? It’s been a wonderful adventurous and full of lovely special moments of dating with this guy. So looking forward to the tomorrow’s and days ahead with him. She concluded her heartfelt post with the hashtags: #dating #anniversary #lotsoftime #lotsoflove #youandi #lifeisgood. Marek is in the real estate business and, by all accounts, is a very nice guy who gets along very well with Amy’s children. Sadly, however, for reasons that continue to defy our comprehension, so-called fans of Roloff don’t just give Marek a hard time… … they say some really dumb and cruel things about the guy . We’re not kidding around here. We mean some REALLY dumb and mean things . Thankfully, Amy keeps ignoring the haters and the trolls and just keep enjoying what she refers to as her “second act. A much-deserved second act, we’d like to add. Amy and Matt Roloff divorced back in early 2016. They released an amicable statement at the time and have maintained a healthy relationship ever since. Matt is seriously dating a woman named Caryn Chandler and both halves of this couple has moved on successfully, having established romances with their new significant others. In this spirit, we’re just gonna go ahead and wish Amy and Chris all the best, while sending them our congratulations and posing one simple question to Marek: When are you gonna put a ring on it, man?!? The Only Thing Crazier Than Mike Tyson? Mike Tyson And Tupac

You know how there are moments in life that are so incredible, they defy our understanding at the time? From MTV News , Mike Tyson describes his first meeting with Tupac Shakur: “Magic Johnson had a party at the Palladium in Los Angeles. … I came outside. I was talking to the people running the door. They were friends of mine. They wouldn’t let these guys in, Tupac and them. I said, ‘Man, let these guys in. You remember how it was with us.’ “So they let him in. ‘Pac had said, ‘Hold up for one minute,’ and he brought back 200 more people. Next thing I knew, it was over. I hear somebody on the mic — he took the mic. Him and his guys got the mic somehow and started rapping. The whole crowd started going crazy. They loved him. The guys from Digital Underground introduced him to me. They said, ‘This is Tupac.’ I met him, he was very young. He was very happy, vivacious. While we pause before the jump, imagine Mike Tyson’s pronunciation of “vivacious.” As for the story of Tyson and Tupac, I’m shocked the world didn’t split in half with those two in the same place. Listen to Tyson’s description of Tupac . It’s eerie: He had a lot of hostility. I think it was just misguided and misdirected. It was obvious he was a genius, he was a prodigy. Whoa! He was just amazing as far as his energy was concerned. He was explosive. … His presence and his energy … the word I’m looking for is fearless. He came across as fearless. When you come across somebody that’s fearless, you’re a little bit in awe. You’re like. ‘Whoa!’ He’s ready to blow, too, at any moment; very volatile. Doesn’t that sound like someone describing Mike Tyson? Without getting too abstract over all this, we’re talking about two of the most complex and polarizing individuals of the past 20 years, both of whom seemed to send ripples through society just by sheer force of nature. Here’s Tyson recounting Tupac’s visit to him in jail: He was standing on the table, started talking. All the people in the prison started going crazy. … The white prisoners, the guards, everybody went crazy in this redneck prison. They went nuts when he came in there. … He was prolific. He was talking, having a ball. … He was very territorial. He was an interesting guy. He was different than any other rapper I had ever met from a philosophical perspective.” Really, there were layers to both men that were beyond our comprehension when they were at the height of their powers. Not until Tupac’s death in 1996 and Tyson’s fall from grace shortly thereafter did we realize just how unique they both were. Powerful, paranoid, and profane. Vilified, venerated, and vulnerable. But most of all, they were impossibly magnetic . Like no boxer or rapper that we’d seen before or since. Humans like Mike Tyson and Tupac Shakur just don’t come along very often. My less abstract reaction? People always talk about their “dream golf foursome.” One of those fun hypotheticals at dinner parties. But I defy you think of a more entertaining trio to hit the links with than these three. In 1993, Tupac Shakur, Mike Tyson, and Eazy-E. Now that would make for an entertaining trip to the country club.
