Matt Roloff Breaks Silence on Ex-Wife’s Engagement

Let no one ever say that divorce has to be messy. Or ugly. Or really disagreeable at all. Don’t believe us? Just ask Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff. Not only did these two split after nearly 27 years of marriage and four kids, but they continued to work together on the TLC reality show Little People, Big World. Moreover, they actually continued to live on the same property until very recently, residing just 100 yards or so away from each other on their mutually-owned farm in Oregon. Just how well do these exes get along? Consider the following: Amy just got engaged last week to boyfriend Chris Marek — and Matt has now become the first family member to congratulate her in public! The Roloff patriarch did so in sort of a subtle way, but he definitely did so nonethless. “My buddy Ty and I got together for our regular Saturday morning breakfast today,” Matt as a caption to a photo he shared of himself and his friend over the weekend, adding simply: “He doesn’t do social media … so I filled him in on Amy’s exciting engagement news. Congratulations to Amy and Chris!!” There you have it, folks. We have no doubt that Amy’s kids, all of whom welcomed Marek into their lives years ago, are thrilled for their mother. But, as far as we know, none of them have said anything about the engagement on social media just yet. Marek popped the question a few days ago, shortly after Amy turned 55 years old. “I’m excited, I’m so surprised, I’m thrilled!” Amy told People Magazine of the engagement, adding to the publication: “I never in a million years thought I’d be getting married again, but I also hoped for it! Now that it’s happening, I couldn’t be happier or more excited.” She and Chris have been dating for almost three years and fans around the globe had been hoping/anticipating an engagement announcement could be forthcoming. Even Marek, who has rarely spoken to the press during his courtship of Roloff, commented on the major development after Amy agreed to marry him. “I was very nervous! It had to be a heart shaped diamond because I knew that’s what Amy wanted,” he said. Amy has since shown off her engagement ring ( it’s gorgeous!!!!! ) on Instagram and included with the snapshot a caption that reads: I was so surprised when Chris asked me to marry him. I said YES. I couldn’t be happier and so looking forward to this new part of our life journey together. I’m blessed. Love you Chris. I love us. No word yet on a wedding date or location or anything. But the couple has plenty of time. As for Amy and Matt? They’ve been nothing but respectful of each other over the years, with the notable exception of Amy having come out with a very personal memoir this summer. In one section, she writes in detail about her split from Matt and states firmly that he cheated on her back in the day with his current girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. In an emotional sense, at the very least. “We had someone that worked for us for a very long time, on our farm,” Amy writes of Chandler in the book, adding: “And I believe – this is all from my perspective – that there was more than just friends going on. And I think that evolved to a point where that got in the way of our marriage as well.” Yikes . And yet: isn’t it nice to see Matt send Amy his best wishes, even in the wake of this controversial release and revelation? View Slideshow: Matt Roloff Fires Back at Amy: I’m Better Than You Are!

Jacob Roloff is Now a Married Man and These Pics are Melting Every Inch of Our Heart

The cast of Little People, Big World just celebrated a very gigantic occasion: A wedding of one of their own! On Saturday, September 7, Jacob Roloff exchanged vows with long-time girlfriend Isabel Rock, becoming the husband to her wife on an unspecific beach in Oregon. There had been chatter that the couple would tie the knot at their parents’ farm, just as Jacob’s siblings Zach and Jeremy had done before him — but the ceremony actually  took place elsewhere. A reception, however, was held on Roloff Farms. Neither Jacob nor Isabel — both of whom are rather media unfriendly — has commented yet on their nuptials, but Tori Roloff has shared a few family photos from the big day, which apparently included Jacob and Isabel’s 1987 Westfalia, a Volkswagen camper van. See for yourself: Jacob and Isabel go everywhere in this vehicle. The former left Little People, Big World back in the summer of 2016, trashing his loved ones as a bunch of phonies at the time and exposing the popular TLC series as fake and scripted. “For the sake of ‘the episode’ and ratings I’ve seen a lot of STORYLINES drawn up (loosely) about our lives,” Jacob wrote online at the time , adding in bitterness and anger: “The family that is filmed is not my family. “They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.” Since then, Jacob and Isabel have mostly enjoyed their time traveling across the Pacific Northwest with their dogs, mostly living off the beaten path. But Jacob has since made up with his relatives. He never made a return to Little People, Big World… but he did explain at various points that he reacted in an immature manner back when he blasted his parents and siblings on Instagram. Jacob does now also spend a decent amount of time with his brothers and sisters, often posting pictures on social media of him and nephew Jackson. As you can see here, this young man was easily the most adorable guest at his uncle’s wedding: As previously reported, Jacob announced his engagement to Isabel in Iceland in January of 2018 after keeping the news secret for more than a month. He had proposed to his soulmate on Christmas Day the year before. To confirm the development, Jacob shared the following photo and wrote as a caption: “… we got ENGAGED! It happened in Iceland on the frozen pond, Tjörnin, late on Christmas. So much love for this beautiful soul @izzysofia. Here’s to many more Christmas’, you n me.” How very sweet, right? As of this writing, we aren’t entirely sure if all members of the Roloff family were invited to the wedding. There have been rumors over the past several weeks of Jacob not getting along with brother Jeremy or sister-in-law Audrey. All we can say for certain is this: ONE, the wedding will not be televised on TLC. TWO, we’re so very happy for Jacob and Isabel! We wish them a lifetime of happiness! Tori Roloff Gets Very Candid About Pregnancy

Tori Roloff is nothing if not refreshingly candid. The Little People, Big World star is pregnant with her second child — and, of course, she's over the moon happy about this fact. But she's also been very honest about what this pregnancy has felt like for her, most recently sharing these personal thoughts via Instagram… …  along with a beautiful maternity picture. Scroll down to see this images and to read through Tori's revealing thoughts. 1. The First Maternity Photo Tori shared this is image back on July 31, admitting then that she was hesitant to pose for such a shoot. 2. How Come? We’ll let Tori explain, per the caption she included back on July 31: “This pregnancy hasn’t made me feel my best but holy smokes @moniqueserraphotography did! What a magical evening photography the bump! @moniquetserra you made me feel so beautiful and confident! Thank you for these, they are truly a gift. Also sorrynotsorry that I will be sharing these for the unforeseen future.” 3. And Now She’s Gone Ahead and Shared Another! On August 14, Roloff posted the following photo to her official Instagram page. 4. Gorgeous, Right? So very gorgeous. 5. But Tori Has Reiterated Why She Didn’t Want to Pose for This “I really didn’t want to take maternity photos. Im not one of those women who loves being pregnant. In fact there’s not a lot of times I do love being pregnant,” Tori admitted in her latest caption. 6. Go On, Tori… “Don’t get me wrong. I thank God for this amazing gift every single day and I know how blessed I am but it definitely hasn’t made me feel my best. However, I am so freaking thankful I was talked into maternity photos by friends and family. This photo truly embodies what I LOVE about pregnancy.” View Slideshow

Caryn Chandler Tries and Fails to Shade Amy Roloff

If you love painfully awkward exchanges between reality stars and their fans, this one’s for you. Mott Roloff has been sticking it to ex-wife Amy Roloff all summer by flaunting gorgeous vacation photos with his girlfriend Caryn Chandler. Now it seems Caryn is dipping her toe in the drama pool too after posting her own date night photo with Matt, and throwing a little shade Amy’s way. Last weekend, Caryn posted a cute shot of herself and Matt sharing a meal on Instagram.  The couple both grin for the camera while enjoying what looks to be a tiny pizza and a cup of tomato bisque. It all seems innocent enough, with a sweet caption to match. “Dinner in Bend, Oregon on a quick road trip & get a way,” Caryn captioned. “Never mind those pesky summer thunderstorms,” she added. She also included the umbrella and eye roll emoji, for good measure. Caryn’s fans and followers, however, were not about to waste this opportunity to drag up some Roloff drama. One pot-stirrer wrote “Watch out, I see Amy looking through the window.” That’s a scary thought that would have anyone looking over their shoulder, just to check. Amy and Matt’s breakup has stayed relatively mature and amicable.  However, amy has been open about Matt having an  affair with Caryn  while he and Amy were still together. The former couple has refrained from public arguments and online mud-slinging. But it’s clear Amy is not a big fan of Caryn, or her involvement in the dissolution of her marriage. Fans are keenly aware of this, and that’s why some are jokingly tormenting Caryn with references to Amy creeping around her and Matt’s dates. So how did Caryn respond to being put on the spot for stealing Amy’s man? With just one, somewhat inscrutable flushed-face emoji! Use your words, Caryn! What are we all supposed to make of this? At the very least, we can say Caryn seems to feel pretty embarrassed by the commenter’s remark. That she chose to respond but not actually say anything implies that she doesn’t know what to say in her defense. Or maybe she just has nothing nice to say about Amy? Our best guess is that Caryn was just trying to say, “Wow, why’d you have to go and make this real awkward?” But that’s not the kind of thing “nice” celebs tend to say to fans. That’s a whole conversation Caryn is not trying to have with this random Insta user.  But if that’s the case, perhaps the more graceful alternative would have been to just ignore that comment. Some other commenters seemed to agree.  “Yikes,” began one response, “no response to that would [have] been classy move.” Maybe so, but it was too late by that point. Other commenters just wanted to get in on the fun. “Yeah,” One user chimed in, “[Amy’s] saying thank God she’s someone else problem.” “Exactly!!” another agreed, “She can have him.” It seems like quite a few people feel like Amy is well rid of her duplicitous ex. That said, we hope Caryn’s blushing emoji doesn’t mean she feels ashamed of her behavior. Caryn was just trying to share a happy moment from her life.  If Amy has any objections to that, it’s really not Caryn’s fault. But the real winner in this comment thread was one user who ignored the ex-drama, but took issue with Caryn complaining about the stormy weather. “Summer thunderstorms are cool!” they insisted, adding a storm cloud emoji. How dare Caryn drag Mother Nature like that? Hopefully her Instagram fanbase will always be here to set her straight. View Slideshow: Matt Roloff Fires Back at Amy: I’m Better Than You Are!

Amy Roloff Sells Farm to Ex-Husband, Makes an Absolute Killing

One day, the sad news will come and TLC will cancel Little People, Big World. But Amy Roloff can now take solace in the knowledge that another job on another network will likely be sitting there, waiting for her. Indeed, the reality star is apparently well-prepared to host a series on HGTV about property-flipping. We say this because Oregon property records reveal that Amy has officially sold a portion of her family’s farm to her ex-husband, Matt. She didn’t merely sell it, however. She raked in an ENORMOUS profit. The aforementioned documents, which were obtained this week by Radar Online, state that the mother of four sold this section of land for a whopping $667,000. To put this in perspective?  In 1990, newlyweds Matt and Amy purchased the farm together for just $185,000. The debate over the future of this property and whether or not Amy was going to sell it to Matt was the main storyline on Little People, Big World this  past season. It prompted a number of arguments between the exes, who split over three years ago yet who have continued to work together and live in close proximity to one another. At one point on the series this spring, Amy slammed Matt for bullying her about the farm. “I just want to make the best decision,” Amy told the camera at the time of why she was taken so long here to figure out next move, adding: “Moving out of a house that I never really thought I’d move out of years ago. … to think about that now is a little daunting. It is a little scary, it’s a little intimidating because I’ve never really been on my own before.” Here’s the confusing thing, however: Amy did NOT sell Matt the land on which her actual house sits. She sold Matt a segment of the land around where his actual house sits so that he can renovate it and work on however he sees fit. In early June, Matt shared a lengthy message on Instagram in order to explain just what was going on with this sale and the farm debate in general. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm,” he wrote, explaining that pumpkin season was very much a go and elaborating as follows: “For now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on… “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave.” Amy has made it clear, though, that she has decided to leave. She is in the process right now of looking for a new home away from the farm. Someday, Matt told his followers, “we will jointly work to sell the side she lives on together. “This may happen in the future but it’s not happening yet! “The only change (for now) is that I will take title to the DW and can decide to remodel it to be more accessible with a lower kitchen or walk-in shower like my home in Arizona.” In conclusion, Matt — who recently made it clear he wants to move to Arizona full-time — wrote that little is changing about the business or the farm as fans know it. But down the line? “The future may be different …but Now is Now …and this is where we are at this moment in time…. Maybe one of the kids will eventually buy it?? Who knows?” Might this kid be Jeremy?  The family’s oldest son has said he wants to maybe run a farm someday . For now, though, we can’t predict his future or the future of any Roloff, with the possible exception of Amy: She’s probably dining on champagne and lobster tonight! Way to make a killing, Ams! Jeremy Roloff: I Have Big Ideas for Running Roloff Farms, But …

Earlier this month,  Jeremy Roloff announced an exciting new venture . But he and Audrey have a  lot  of plans for their future. They’re authors, they’re podcasters, they’re parents, and now they’re prepared to run a farm. Does this mean that Jeremy Roloff is prepared to own and operate Roloff Farms? In a recent post on Instagram, Jer shared a series of photos along with his enthusiam. “I’m totally re-inspired to eat healthier, consistently exercise, and to buy a farm,” Jeremy gushed in the caption. “We spent this last week at the @youngliving convention in Salt Lake City,” he revealed. “And it was awesome.” Jeremy added: “We got to meet more of Audreys @morethanoils team and other folks actively pursuing a healthy lifestyle.” “We truly are what we eat,” he remarked. Sure. “I’m super thankful Audrey has such a good group of women who all want to help each other,” Jeremy wrote. “Highlight for me,” he admitted. “Was visiting the YL Mona farm.” “It was an absolutely beautiful property,” Jeremy shared. “And got my brain firing on all cylinders,” he concluded. “With ideas and dreams for (hopefully) Roloff farms. ” That is some  extremely  exciting news! But … why does Jeremy seem to be talking about buying a farm. His parents have Roloff Farms. It’s where he grew up. Surely he wouldn’t have far to look for his own farm, right? Fans and followers asked as much, and Jer explained the harsh realities to them. Jeremy told one that it “costs money to buy Roloff Farm.” To another, he remarked that his parents’ farm is “very expensive.” It sounds like what Jeremy and Audrey have in mind isn’t quite the same thing as what Matt and Amy created before them. Roloff Farms isn’t just a farm — it’s a massive territory designed to give multiple children plenty of room in which to play. The family raises pumpkins to sell. Other pumpkins are turned into products, like Roloff Salsa. Most significantly, Roloff Farms is a tourist destination, particularly for fans of the show. It doesn’t sound like this is what Auj and Jer have in mind for their future. Maybe things would be different if Jeremy felt that he could buy and maintain his parents’ massive farm. But without those resources, he and Auj are looking at a much smaller farm. It sounds like they have an interest in largely living off of food that they grow themselves, for health reasons. It may be that Audrey has an interest in growing herbs that might be used in essential oils, though that is just a guess. They’re talking about growing food for themselves. That’s on a much smaller scale than the land where Jeremy grew up. Not everyone has the physical ability, the resources, the space, the inclination, or the need to grow their own food. Specialization is a wonderful feature of civilization. Without it, brain surgeons wouldn’t really exist. But if this is what Auj and Jer want for themselves, more power to them. We do wonder how soon in the future they intend to buy a farm. After all, just because they want that life doesn’t necessarily mean that Ember Jean or Baby #2 will enjoy growing up that way. Just look at Jacob Roloff and remember that not everybody is content living the same life. View Slideshow: Audrey Roloff: See ALL Her Baby Bump Photos!

Tori Roloff Baby Bump: It Won’t Stop Growing!

Little People, Big World? More like Expecting Mother, Huge Baby Bump! Tori Roloff has been keeping Instagram followers well apprised of her pregnancy ever since announcing it to the world — and her latest update makes it clear that her and husband Zach’s second child is really anxious to get here. In other words: Roloff is growing bigger and bigger by the day! We mean no offense by this statement at all, of course. We’re basically just paraphrasing what Tori wrote as a caption to a couple new social media photos. “How are you so big already baby girl?!” Tori wrote along with the following photo, emphasizing once again that ths started showing far earlier this time around than she did back when she had Jackson growing inside of her. Tori first posted a picture of her baby bump back in early June, posing in a very cute manner while presenting her ever-changing body to the world. Check out that memorable snapshot HERE . At this point, however, you can tell that Tori is simply over it. She’s not trying to look especially put together or stylish or anything like that. She’s simply keeping it real by poinsting her phone at the mirror and clicking away. “I got things a size up to fit the growing up!” Tori penned as an affiliated message to the next photo. Just as she did during her first pregnancy, Tori has been very open with followers when it comes to what she’s going through now and what she thinks may happen down the line. Asked, for example, whether this second child will be a dwarf, Tori recently replied “50/50.” She and Zach learned close to the end of that initial pregnancy that their son would, indeed, be a dwarf; just like his dad and his grandparents. As for how she’s feeling at the moment? She revealed a short while ago that this second go-around has been “a lot harder. But still easy. If that makes sense… “I had no symptoms with J other than egg aversions. I’ve got all the symptoms this time.” The Roloffs broke their exciting baby news to fans on May 13. They confirmed both the gender and the general due date at the time as well, saying to Us Weekly: “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” This precious addition to the Roloff family is due in November. We can’t wait to meet her! Zach and Tori Roloff: Pregnant With Baby #2!!

Just a couple of weeks ago, Tori and Zach Roloff revealed that they want a whole “pack” of children . At the time, they said that they would just see what happens. They were sitting on a big secret. Tori and Zach are expecting baby #2! On Monday afternoon, Zach and Tori Roloff announced to Us Weekly that they’re once again expecting. “We are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother!” the couple shared. We knew that they were hinting at this possibility recently, but we didn’t know that it would happen so soon! “We can not wait to meet our sweet baby girl!” Tori and Zach gushed. This precious addition to the Roloff family is due in November. Just a couple of weeks ago, Zach and Tori gave a lengthy interview about their family planning. They spoke a lot about little Jackson — who is no longer a baby, but a toddler — and his development. He’s crossed a lot of milestones, which is encouraging to see. They also shared that they would love to have several children, but are in no rush to get there. Now we know that the two of them obviously knew about this pregnancy, but were waiting before they announced it to the world. Sunday, May 12, was Jackson’s birthday. He turned two years old! “Happy birthday to our sweet (not so) baby J!” Tori gushed in a beautiful Instagram tribute to her son. She continued: “I can not believe I have spent 2 years of my life with this kid.” “It goes by way too fast,” Tori observed. “Jackson,” she wrote. “You are so confident and I have loved watching your personality develop.” “You are becoming so silly,” Tori raved. “And always up for a good time!” “You are so easy going and smart,” she added. “I pray that you continue to face life head on the way you do,” she expressed. “And,” Tori wished, she would like to see him “continue to bring smiles to everyone’s faces effortlessly.” “I love you so much Jackson!” Tori announced. “Happy birthday!” “Can’t wait to see what is ahead this year!” Tori expressed to her fans and followers. She continued, writing: “thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us.” “And,” Tori concluded, she gave thanks to those who “passed along sweet notes to me!” She and Zach have used a Z and T party of three tag a few times on Instagram. Now, it looks like they’re going to need a new catchphrase, because by the end of the year, they’ll be a party of four! This is such happy, heart-melting news. We love that it was shared the day after Jackson’s birthday. It is widely recognized that a two-year age gap between siblings gives parents some breathing room but still allows the children to grow up as peers. (Too much of an age gap, and you’re looking at someone who spends more time as a caregiver than a sibling) Jackson is going to be an amazing big brother. We know that Amy and Matt must be over the moon about getting a new Roloff grandchild. View Slideshow: Tori Roloff Flaunts Stunning Beach Body, Post-Baby Weight Loss

Little People, Big World: Just How Fake Is It?!?

Little People, Big World is a reality television show. This is not exactly a groundbreaking statement. As such, however, the long-running TLC series has faced the same criticism and the same questions that have faced all other reality television entries on the small screen. Which is to say that many viewers are often wondering the following: Is the series scripted? This speculation was spurred on about three years ago when Jacob Roloff quit the show , resigning with a controversial Instagram post that he claimed at the time called out the program for exactly what it is: An example of total phoney baloney, according to Jacob. “Producers have to try to get us to follow the talking points,” he shared in this message, jumping way high on a pedestal and adding: “For me, noticing how the agenda of the crew doesn’t work well with the health & happiness of our family is what made me decide quite a while ago that I could not be a part of it as soon as I was able.” In this same post, Jacob referred to “storyline” and wrote of his loved ones: “They are the Roloff Characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them.” Years later, Jacob would sort of apologize for these remarks; or at least explain that he had since grown up and regretted making them. He’s now on great terms with these same loved ones, but the issue remains. The question hangs over the Roloffs. How much of what we see each week is natural and normal? And how much is produced or even flat-out written for Amy, Matt and their kids? “For the most part, we keep it real,” Amy Roloff told Us Weekly in a recent interview. “My kids are real. They’re grounded … Granted, here we’re filming three hours and then take the one moment that people will say, ‘Oh, it’s scripted.’ “I say, ‘No, it didn’t feel like the three hours that I was in.’ I like to think that we’re pretty honest, we’re pretty real – at least I am – sometimes to a fault.” In other words: The show is edited. And these edits may be done in such a way to emphasize a certain topic or disagreement in order to boost interest — such as Matt and Amy’s fight a couple weeks ago over the farm . But nothing you see is fake by any definition of that word. How has a show that started off as an idea for a one-off documentary lasted this long? How has it actually set a Guiness World Record ? In this same Us Weekly chat , Matt Roloff chalks it up to what he calls “Compromise TV.” He expounded on this theory as follows: “Compromise TV to me, that definition in my mind, basically means male, female, there’s something for everybody – any age groups, grandpas, grandmas, young kids. “Everybody has got something. “Whether it’s the relationship between Amy and I, or the babies, or the marriages, or the bulldozers and Track Hoes, we’ve got the big farm that has the beautiful backdrop.” View Slideshow: Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Why They REALLY Quit Little People, Big World

Audrey and Jeremy Roloff: Hear Little Ember Jean Talking!

Fans are begging and pleading to see Jeremy and Audrey Roloff return to Little People, Big World . That would be amazing. For now, followers can listen to their podcast and, of course, see their updates on social media. Jeremy has revealed that little Ember Jean is now talking, and shared the cutest video imaginable of her doing so.  “'Dhankoo dada' haha,” Jeremy begins his caption of this precious video. “Ember is starting to attempt every world we say,” he reveals. “But,” the proud father confesses. “This one is my favorite.” Well, it's both adorable and it mentions him. Of course it's his favorite. As you can imagine, Jeremy also used the opportunity to plug a new episode of his and Auj's podcast, Behind The Scenes . He writes: “P.s. new podcast dropped today and you don’t want to miss it.” We're sure that a lot of their fans are excited for a new episode; they've certainly done some interesting interviews. But most people's attention was fixated on the sweet little girl. (Ember Jean really isn't a baby anymore — at atlmost 20 months, she's a toddler) “Say: 'thank you, dada,'” Jeremy prompts his precious daughter in the video. He is holding her with one arm — something he won't be able to do so easily in a few short years. As he captioned, Ember replies with her best imitation: “Dhankoo dada.” Jeremy repeats her words, and then plants a kiss on one of her irresistible little cheeks. (Cuteness overload, folks) Up next, she babbles something that isn't super intelligible. Jeremy asks if she's requesting milk from her sippy cup. But it sounded to us like she was saying “cup” or “top.” We're sure that Jeremy knows his daughter better than we do, of course. But any of those words would be salient to the conversation, as Jeremy pops on the lid to her cup. Child development is a funny thing. Some children are fully conversant by almost 20 months. Others have yet to say their first word. Ember is somewhere in between, which is completely normal. Children reach different milestones at different ages because they are different people with different experiences. Ember is lucky to be surrounded by parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents who provide her with stimulation and enrichment. Of course, viewers don't get to watch Ember Jean grow and learn on Little People, Big World like they once could. Auj and Jer have offered up a number of explanations for why they quit the reality series. At one point, they suggested that God had called them to do something else — podcasting, apparently. Jeremy has also said that, since ha and his siblings never actually had a choice about doing the show, he felt it was time that he just … stop. He wouldn't be the first to make that choice. Molly doesn't even live especially close to Roloff Farms. And Jacob famously stormed off of the farm as a young adult, angry that he had been forced to do the show for as long as he was.
