Mo’ne Davis who covered Sports Illustrated in 2014 after becoming the first female to pitch in a Little League World Series win and to throw a shutout post-season, is attending Hampton University next fall. The Philadelphia Tribune reports that Mo’Ne selected Hampton over Bethune-Cookman University, Southern University, Coppin State University, the University of Massachusetts and the University of Pennsylvania. She was attracted to the HBCU’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and will apparently major in some field of communications.
