Dancing with the Stars Fans are Disgusted Over Casting of Tonya Harding

Dancing with the Stars announced its full cast for Season 26 on Good Morning America today. A shortened season, upcoming episodes will feature 10 past and present athletes competing for the Mirrorball Trophy, with participants including: The NBA’s all-time leading scorer, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The most famous women’s softball pitcher in history, Jennie Finch. And Tonya Harding. Yes, that Tonya Harding. The very same Tonya Harding whose ex-husband confessed in 1994 to having masterminded an assault of Harding’s chief figure skating rival at the time, Nancy Kerrigan. You can go look it up if you somehow aren’t familiar with this scandal: Harding is VERY strongly believed to at the very least been aware of a plan to break Kerrigan’s kneecap just weeks prior to the Winter Olympics. The former figure skater recently came out and admitted as much . Despite Harding likely having played a role in severely injuring Kerrigan, and despite Harding showing absolutely no remorse in the years since, she has somehow been celebrated of late. Heck, the disgraced ex-sports star even attended the Golden Globe Awards in January because a movie based on her life was nominated for Best Picture. Fast forward a few months and Harding will now be placed in the spotlight on Dancing with the Stars. She’ll be given a platform to resurrect her image… just one year after the show cast Kerrigan as a contestant! We can’t imagine how Nancy must be feeling right about now, but we need not use our imagination when it comes to Twitter. As you’re about to see below, social media users are aghast over ABC’s decision to team up with a basic criminal such as Harding. “Have people forgotten what Tonya Harding did to Nancy Kerrigan? Why is she being celebrated and part of this show? I don’t get it. #DWTS,” wrote one disgruntled individual, while another added: “I won’t be watching DWTS this season, I have no use for Tonya Harding who has no right being showcased anywhere other than in a jail cell.” Shortly after the Kerrigan assault took place, Harding received three years probation and was sentenced to 500 hours of community service. She was also assessed a $160,000 fine. Three years later, she was banned for life by the U.S. Figure Skating Figure Skating Association from all sanctioned events for her involvement in the scandal. What has she done to her a second shot at fame and fortune? She sat back while a studio made a movie about her. Truly, that’s all that has happened in the decades since. This really is pretty disgusting. Where do YOU stand on Tonya Harding going Dancing with the Stars? View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars Athletes Season: Cast Revealed!

Dancing with the Stars Athletes Season: Cast Revealed!

It seems like an athlete wins nearly every season of Dancing with the Stars, doesn't it? Looking ahead to Season 26, however, we can say with absolute certainty: An athlete WILL win Dancing with the Stars. This is because the ABC competition will air a special four-week event in which only current and former athletes compete. Pretty cool concept, right? With the exception of the inclusion of a certain disgraced figure skater who almost definitely played a role in assaulting her main rival at the Olympics back in the 1990s. Who are we talking about? Who are the players set to take Dancing with the Stars field next season? Scroll down. Find out! 1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar The NBA’s all-time leading scorer will be paid with Lindsay Arnold as he attempts to dunk all over the competition. 2. Johnny Damon Teamed with Emma Slater, the speedy ex-centerfielder will hope to run (and dance!) circles around all his ballroom foes. 3. Tonya Harding Tonya Harding is going from the ice to the dance floor… and all other athletes would be well served to don knee braces all season long. 4. Adam Rippon Adam Rippon will partner with Jenna Johnson as one of the only ice skater on Season 26 who did NOT try to take out a rival via physical assault. 5. Josh Norman The NFL cornerback will have Sharna Burgess by his side when he tries to intercept the chances of anyone else to win this season. 6. Mirai Nagasu We know Mirai Nagasu can do a triple lutz. But will she and Allen Bersten twirl their way to the Mirrorball Trophy? View Slideshow

Anastacia Dancing With the Stars Pussy Flash of the Day

Anastacia is some 48 year old American singer – who I think had more international fame than local fame – but I don’t really remember – because I can’t think of one Anastacia song…. She’s a 48 year old dancing on some show…not showing off her breast cancer stars…because she had breast cancer in 2003, then she had it again in 2013 – she is a survivor who I guess decided to go for the chop – and get the double mastectomy – because fuck that nois – who wants to deal with cancer coming back over and over – plus you can always get breast implants to still feel like like you have tits – But she’s still got a pussy….which is what we are all into….unless they are homos…because tits don’t make the woman…vagina does…so flash it…

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Got TWO Perfect Scores?!

One duo has emerged as the ones to watch as we approach the conclusion of Dancing with the Stars Season 25.  They managed to score two perfect scores, solidifying their status as the best dancers in the competition, but who lost their place in the competition? Was it another shocking elimination? Let’s break down the performances! Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke Charleston – “Bad Boy, Good Man” by Tape Five (feat. Henrik Wager) Terrell Owens had a lot to prove on the episode. He needed to prove that remaining in the competition was the best move, and nothing could prepare us for his fast-paced moves.  Despite a hiccup in rehearsals, it was a wonderful performance that solidified his status as a competitor.  Score: 27/30  The trio round found the duo joining forces with Kelly Monaco and performing the Ruma to “Slow Hands” by Niall Horan. It did not work as a trio number, and it proved that sticking to a duo is still the best way to go.  Score: 24/30 Drew Scott and Emma Slater – Waltz – “Both Sides Now (Torch Songs)” by Years & Years Drew and Emma have been all over the place throughout Season 25. Every time it seems they are ready to become contenders, they find themselves put back down the leaderboard.  Their most recent performance was not great. For this part of the competition, they should be doing better. Drew’s confidence is rearing its ugly head, and that will likely send them out of the competition quickly.  Score: 22/30 Rashad Jennings joined them for the trio round, and they performed the Cha Cha to “Get Up Offa That Thing” by James Brown. It was a much better performance. But Drew struggled to keep up, and they were gifted with a better score than they should have been.  Score: 25/30 Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy – Argentine Tango – “Down” by Marian Hill Victoria wanted to prove that she was a worthy competitor to win the trophy, and that involved her oozing some sex appeal into her performance.  The performance was decent, but it was very clear she was uncomfortable, and that hindered them from emerging from the pack  Score: 24/30 Laurie Hernandez joined forces with them for the trio round, and they performed the Jive to “Magic” by B.o.B. This one was intriguing because Laurie and Val won together.  There was a severe lack of fluidity from Victoria, and that could prove detrimental to her winning the whole competition.  Score: 24/30 Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas – Samba – “Morning Drums” by Gregor Salto Lindsay was a woman on a mission during the latest episode of this ABC juggernaut. She was ready to prove that she could rise from the doldrums, and she did so in winning fashion.  Her pain appears to be well and truly gone, and her performance with Mark benefited from it. Their timing was on point, and that’s the most integral part of the competition.  Score: 26/30 Kristi Yamaguchi returned to the stage after nine years for the trio number, and it was a resounding success. They went with the Jazz to “Let’s Face the Music and Dance” by Seth McFarlane.  Everything felt very fluid, and the three danced very well.  Score: 28/30 Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson – Viennese Waltz – “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran Frankie’s dancing has been up and down over the past few weeks and he wanted to come out roaring after his Halloween spectacular. While it was fun, it lacked the finesse of their previous efforts.  Score: 26/30 Alfonso Ribeiro joined in the fun at the trio round. They performed the Jive to “Good Place” by Leo Soul. Alfonso noted straight off the bat that Frankie needed to be more confident if he wanted to win the competition.  These words of wisdom helped and Frankie emerged as the best part of this trio.  Score: 27/30 Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold – Quickstep – “Chuck Berry” by Pharrell Williams Jordan has already proved that he is the best dancer of the season, and the judges were enamored with his latest performance. Knowing a thing or two about dancing works wonders.  The performance was one of the best of the season.  Score: 30/30 Fellow Disney actor, Corbin Bleu joined them in the trio dance. They all got along like a house on fire and Lindsay wanted to make sure they were all on the same page.  All three of them were in sync, and the judges lapped up the performance. It was delightful.  Score: 30/30 Terrell and Cheryl and Frankie and Witney were revealed to be in danger. Yes, we were shocked to the very core about Frank and Witney, but they lived to dance another day. Terrell and Cheryl lost their place in the competition! What did you think of the dances? The Voice Recap: Steals Galore!

With the Blind Auditions out of the way, the hopefuls went to war with each other to secure their spot at the next stage of the competition, and it paved the way for some emotional scenes.  Rascal Flatts advised Blake Shelton, Kelly Rowland joined Jennifer Hudson, Joe Jonas partnered with Adam Levine and Bill Ray Cyrus joined forces with Miley Cyrus.  Lucas Holliday vs. Megan McNeal – “My Prerogative”  Jennifer stressed that it was vital for them to focus on their own performance as opposed to worrying that the other was getting all the attention.  Despite positive comments for both contestants, Jennifer sent Megan home and kept Lucas around until the next stage of the competition. When the pair were put together, Lucas was the clear winner.  Moriah Formica vs. Shilo Gold – American Woman Miley implied that this was a terrible choice for her, but when you think about it, Moriah completely owned the stage during the battle. Shilo was decent, but no match for Moriah.  Moriah went on to win the vote of Miley, sending Shilo packing.  Keisha Renee vs. Noah Mac – “I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry” This one was more of a tough choice. Both singers put so much effort into ensuring they would secure a victory, and they even took a lot of feedback from the coaches into consideration.  That’s the best thing you ask for of a participant during one of these shows. Unfortunately for Noah, Blake thought Keisha pulled it off better.  Chris Weaver defeated Kathrina Feigh  – “Dangerous Woman.” In rehearsals, Chris got an early lead on Kathrina, and you could tell Kelly thought so. It was almost like everyone had agreed Chris was advancing and Kelly’s fate was up in the air.  When it came to the actual performance, Kathrina sounded like she was whimpering throughout, while Chris turned in a solid performance. Jennifer kept Chris around, but it was not the end of the road for Kathrina.  Blake swooped in to give her a shot on his team. We’re not quite sure it was a wise idea, but time will tell whether it will come back to bite him.  Brooke Simpson vs. Sophia Bollman – “You’re a Big Girl Now” Both Brooke and Sophia brought a lot to the table, so you can only imagine our surprise that one of them got through and the other was sent home.  The performance was rock-solid, and the two squared off against each another with class. Miley kept Brooke around, but nobody thought it was a good idea to steal Sophia.  What a shame.  Adam Pearce vs. Whitney Fenimore- “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” What do you get when you put two of the most promising singers together? One of the biggest disappointments of the season. Both of them appeared as early frontrunners, but putting them together was just wrong.  There was nothing about their voices together that really worked. Adam scraped a win by the skin of his teeth, and Whitney was stolen by Miley.  We are so glad she’s getting a second chance.  With the Battle Rounds in full swing, it should be fun to find out who goes next.  The Voice continues Tuesday night on NBC! Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Got the First Perfect Score?

Disney Week made its way to Dancing with the Stars, and there was no fairytale ending for the celebrities on this special night of the ABC reality series.  With one couple definitely going home, tensions were at an all-time high, but one couple managed to get a perfect score, so it wasn’t all bad.  Let’s briefly break down the performances of the night, so we can establish who did not make it through to the next heat of the competition.  Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy After emotions ran a little too high, this performance was all about bringing the fun back to the forefront, and that was a good thing. You could tell Victoria was in a much better place than she was last week. They threw it all the way back to 1928 for a homage to Steamboat Willie.  She and Val fit together like a glove, and their performance was a well-choreographed one that proved they have been taking feedback on board.  Score: 27/30! Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Vanessa and Maks have been solid dancers all season long, and despite some alleged behind the scenes drama, they do work well together.  However, they aren’t exactly offering anything new with their performances. With some of the other couples going from strength-to-strength, this pair appears to be stuck in a rut.  That’s not to say their waltz was terrible. They just need to change things up a little.  They could have done so much different with their Snow White and the Seven Dwarves inspired performance.  Score: 24/30! Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas Lindsay claimed she always wanted to be a Disney princess, and it sounded like the judges agreed that she would make a great one.  The jazz from the couple won rave reviews from them, and Len even handed them out a 10. When does that ever happen with Len? He’s always got something negative to say.  Score: 28/30! Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd Being at the bottom of the scoreboard is not the best place to be, and Nick knew there was a lot riding on his performance. The couple performed the quickstep, and you could tell it took its toll on Nick.  The Jungle Book is a great movie, and now, we will probably never watch it again thanks to Nick’s wooden performance.  By the end, he looked like he wanted to take a nap on the stage, and the judges picked up on it.  Score: 22/30! Drew Scott and Emma Slater Drew and Emma have had a lot of chemistry going for them since the season kicked off, and that always seems to go in their favor. The went with a fun performance inspired by The Muppets Movie.  The waltz garnered them some praise from the judges, and they really deserved it.  Score: 25/30! Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko This duo went with the rumba inspired by The Little Mermaid, and it was a delight. Sasha struggled with nerves earlier in the season, and has been improving every single week.  The judges took note, with Carrie saying she was “mesmerized” by the whole display. Even Len gave another positive comment. What’s going on? Score: 24/30! Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke All of the performances seemed much better than recent ones, and Terrell’s was inspired by The Lion King. The whole performance was full of memorable moments, and Terrell managed to dance very well given the big height difference between him and Cheryl. They secured their highest score of the season, and it was well deserved.  Score: 25/30! Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson While his short-term memory may not be all that, Frankie’s short-term one is good because he continues to be one of the best dancers. The duo went with a tango to The Pirates of the Caribbean. The performance would have definitely secured a perfect score had Witney’s heel not caught in her dress.  Score: 29/30! Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold Jordan knows a lot about Disney, and that’s because he has been in the family for a long time. He performed a foxtrot to his song “You’re Welcome” from Moana.  It was flawless, and the judges seemed to think it was the best performance of the season. They were right. It secured them a perfect score.  Score: 30/30! Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Nikki went with the upcoming move, Coco, as her inspiration, and it was a refreshing mix of style, confidence, and chemistry with Artem. It was a real surprise, and Len called it Nikki’s best dance yet.  Score: 27/30! Sasha Pieterse & Gleb Savchenko, and Frankie Muniz & Witney Carson found themselves in the bottom two. No, that’s not a joke. In the end, Sasha and Gleb were sent packing.  It’s not up there with the Heather Morris elimination, but it sure was shocking. Nick Lachey should have been the one to go! Dancing with the Stars continues next Monday on ABC! View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars Season 25 Cast Rankings: Who Will Win … or Exit Early?

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd: Married!

It’s wedding season, y’all! This particular time of year, people seem to like to get married, celebrities and normal folk alike. And it seems like Dancing with the Stars power couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are those kind of people. Yesterday, Maksim and Peta got married in an absolutely gorgeous ceremony at an actual castle in Long Island. And, unlike most celebrities, they allowed their guests to take photos throughout the ceremony and reception, and to share those photos on social media. That’s how we have that beautiful photo of Maksim and Peta dancing during their wedding reception, and photos of … well, you’ll see! Since both the bride and groom are professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars, it makes sense that many, many stars of the show were there — both in attendance and in the wedding party. Not all of them though, because Julianne Hough also got married yesterday . See what we mean about it being wedding season? Val Chmerkovskiy, Maksim’s brother and another dancing pro, was the best man, and Tony Dovolani was one of his groomsmen. Meanwhile, Peta chose Sharna Burgess and one-time celebrity contestant Rumer Willis as two of her bridesmaids. Nyle DiMarco and Candace Cameron Bure were guests to the couple’s big day — Candace and Maks even shared a dance during the reception! Peta was walked down the aisle by her father, and her dress was an ivory ball gown fit for a princess. Maksim chose a stylish white jacket for his wedding ensemble — doesn’t he look so handsome? After the wedding, the couple spent some time outside with their guests before moving indoors for the reception. For their first dance, they didn’t show off like you might think a couple of people famous for their dancing skills would. Instead, they kept things simple. Simple and adorable. Speaking of adorable, Maks actually sang to Peta at one point. Can you even handle how precious this whole thing sounds? At one point during the reception, Peta left to change into her second gown of the night: a feathered dress that looked to be a bit easier to move around in. It’s also worth noting that both Peta and Maks looked painfully happy in each and every photo from their wedding. Sounds like a lovely day for lovely people, right? It’s also pretty special since the wedding comes six months, nearly to the day, after they gave birth to their first child, a boy named Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy. It was nearly a year before Shai was born that his parents got engaged, too — Maksim proposed to Peta in December of 2015. There’s no word on if little Shai had a role in the wedding, nor are there any photos of him, but still, it all sounds very cute. Congrats to the happy couple! Dancing With the Stars Results: A Semifinal Shocker! What is Up With This Show?!

One of Dancing With the Stars’ most controversial seasons in history is coming down the home stretch, and it’s still anyone’s title to grab. Just not one of the favorites. Oh yes. Having already seen the elimination of Heather Morris , we were treated to another results shocker Monday night on the parquet. Rashad Jennings, David Ross, Normani Kordei and Simone Biles have made it to the final four, vying to join the illustrious list of winners. This week, the fab four and their respective partners would dance twice, and one dancer would be sent home before next week’s finale. Let’s see how they did … and stunning Dancing with the Stars results awaited us at the end of the night (this was a real doozy, people). David Ross and Lindsay Arnold Unquestionably the weakest of the final four (still, to even make the final four is impressive), the ballplayer struggled a touch on the Foxtrot. Just the same, he’s progressed so much, and his tango to “Castle on a Hill” was up there with the most memorable routines of the year. Judges Challenge: 34/40 Unlearned Dance: 36/40 Total: 70! Normani Kordei and Valentin Chmerkovskiy The Fifth Harmony member stumbled a bit during her Viennese Waltz, but that was barely perceptible. But then she achieved perfection. Her jazz routine set to “What a Wonderful World” earned a standing ovation and was as good as any routine on any season. Judges Challenge: 36/40  Unlearned Dance: 40/40 Total: 76! Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater The NFL running back turned in a strong rumba, and an even stronger quickstep, continuing to show improvement week in and week out. A dark horse contender to win this thing, he’s flown under the radar at times, but showed real grit, charisma and progression as well. That’s a formula for a Mirror Ball. Judges Challenge: 38/40 Unlearned Dance: 39/40 Total: 77! Simone Biles and Sasha Farber After last week’s iconic “ smiling doesn’t win gold medals ” comment, Simone set out to have some fun doing the jive, and she delivered. Biles landed her first perfect score, then added another in the form of a rumba that also showcased her personality and her talents. Judges Challenge: 40/40 Unlearned Dance: 40/40 Total: 80! So naturally, at the end of Monday’s episode, Simone was the one to be sent home. We wish we were kidding, but that’s DWTS for you. View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: 9 Most Shocking Eliminations After Heather Morris’ exit, and to a degree Nancy Kerrigan’s, Simone looked all but assured of a place in this season’s final four. We know, two shocking ousters shouldn’t preclude a third, but given her place among these four, how could she not make it? Then to put together an 80/80 on top of that … what gives? Apparently, David Ross’ votes outweighed Biles’ in spite of all that. Half of the scores that determine who gets voted off come from fans, so Ross must have accumulated A LOT more of those. Shame. Brandy’s exit back in Season 11, and perhaps Morris’ a few weeks earlier this spring, were equally bad, but this? This? It may go down as the strangest of the strange Dancing With the Stars results we’ve seen over the show’s 24 seasons on air . View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: All the Winners!
