Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Won Season 27?

Did Dancing with the Stars deliver another shocking twist to close out Season 27?  In a season that has been filled with controversy, with fans ruling it a popularity contest as opposed to a dancing competition, there have already been some headscratchers.  From the surprise elimination of Tinashe early into the season to last week’s stunning elimination of Juan Pablo Di Pace on the same night he landed two perfect scores, we think it’s fair to say fans are less than impressed with the series.  Hey, that’s not to say we still think Milo Manheim, Alexis Ren, Bobby Bones, and Evanna Lynch could even be ruled as celebrities.  To the casual viewer, this season probably feels like a civilian edition, and we can’t blame them. But how did those final routines pan out and did they even matter when it came to the final vote?  Let’s break them down one last time! Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten — Argentine Tango 27/30; Freestyle: 30/30 It was clear from the first week of the competition that there was a lot going for both Alexis and Alan. They had the chemistry sorted and later embarked on a relationship.  Their Argentine Tango was not without flaws, and it was a misstep for this otherwise solid pair. Thankfully, they pulled it back with a rock-solid freestyle that showed why viewers are voting for them: They’re both flexible as hell! Bobby Bones and  Sharna Burgess —  Cha-Cha: 24/30; Freestyle: 30/30 Bobby has come across as a mere novelty act. The radio personality has charisma for days, but he’s been lacking as far as dancing ability goes.  It’s surprising he lasted this long in the competition. His Cha-Cha with Sharna was much of the same, but the Freestyle definitely kicked things up a few gears.  Where has that  level of dancing been all season long? It did seem like it was too little, too late, but we still had the results to go.  Milo Manheim and Witney Carson — Charleston: 30/30; F reestyle : 30/30 Next to Juan Pablo, Milo seemed like the next best thing. He and Witney have been pulling in high scores all season long, and the pair secured another two perfect scores.  They perform well together and are confident. Whoever put them together at the start of the season knew they would make for a powerful duo.  Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe — Halloween Night tango: 30/30; Freestyle: 30/30 Evanna started the season off in the middle of the pack, but she quickly adapted, and got her confidence back as the season progressed.  Pulling off two perfect scores in one night is difficult, but it shows just how far she’s come since that first week.  After all of those performances, there was still room for Grocery Store Joe to show up with some of his Bachelorette alumni to prove why he should have been kicked out in the first week.  Seriously though, who the heck was voting for that dude? In the end, Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess secured the Mirrorball Trophy, and yes, it’s got to be one of the biggest twists to rock the series.  It’s high time the dancing had a higher weighting on the results because the viewer vote is starting to ruin the show.  Will there be changes implemented? Time till tell.  In the meantime, congratulations Bobby and Sharna! What are your thoughts on the finale? Hit the comments below! View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: The Odds are Out! Teen Mom OG Recap: I Want a Divorce!!!

A week after Bristol Palin was welcomed to the Teen Mom OG family on last Monday's premiere , the famous mother of three decided to put an end to her own family. As it is currently constructed, that is. On an emotional follow-up episode, viewers received an up close and personal glimpse at the problems that plagued Bristol and husband Dakota Meyer to such an extent that they filed for divorce. These problems were largely related to Meyer's PTSD , but they ran deeper and were more pervasive than this single (major) issue. Scroll down for a recap of the latest Teen Mom OG installment, which centered on Palin and Meyer decided to divorce on national television… 1. Are You Okay? Bristol asked Meyer if he was in an okay state to discuss their marital issues, referencing the demons he still battles on a daily basis due to losing so many friends in combat as a Marine, before she delved into the reasons why she wants a divorce. 2. I’m Married, But I Feel So Alone “I was a single mom for a long time but being married, I’m more lonely now than I’ve ever been,” Palin explained to MTV producer Kerthy. “And I know that he’s probably more lonely now than he’s ever been. I think that we don’t know how to, like, coexist together at all.” 3. A Painful Admission Meyer was the only surviving member of his platoon during the war in Afghanistan, an unfathomable situation to anyone watching. He acknowledges that he can’t move on and that this has impacted everyone around him, saying on air: “It’s been tough. Ninety-nine percent of our problems in this family, in our marriage, is my anxiety and my PTSD whether you want to believe or justify it or not.” 4. We’re Better Apart “I fully take responsibility of becoming cold. And I am sorry. I’m sorry that I am that way, I don’t think you deserve to have a wife that’s that way and I want you to have a sense of peace,” Bristol said to Meyer. “I do feel like we are better people when we’re not together.” 5. Another Personal Failure Turning to the producer sitting with them, Kerthy, Meyer opened up and was honest about how this all made him feel: “Obviously, you know, Bristol doesn’t want to be together anymore. For me, I just get the same feeling that I do with my teammates, that I failed again and that I’m helpless again.” 6. This is NOT on You No, Bristol tried to tell Dakota, fully aware of how personally he takes things and all he has been though. “You’re not a failure, you’re not a failure at all,” she repeated. Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who the Eff is Voting for Joe?!

“Most Memorable Year” night on Dancing with the Stars gave us a lot of heartwarming stories, some great dancing, and some terrible dancing.  Oh yes, Grocery Store Joe is still terrible, but did he manage to show signs of improvement? Let’s break down the latest installment, shall we? Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber This compatible duo went with the Viennese Waltz to “We Are the Champions” performed by Ray Chew Live. Mary went with 1984 as her most memorable year.  That was the year she won the Olympic gold, so it was a predictable year for her to pick. But she did open up about her win not being all that solid in the lead up to it.  She had knee surgery which could have rendered her unfit to compete in the Olympics.  Her latest routine with Sasha was another solid one that allowed them to scale new heights.  Judges’ Score: 24/30 Milo Manheim and Witney Carson Milo went with 2018 as his most memorable year, and this could be attributed to him being just 17 years old. We dare say that most viewers had no clue who he was prior to his casting, so maybe he had a point.  Milo and Witney both went with another energetic performance that ticked all the boxes as far as the judges’ scores go. It was a Jive to “Can You Do This?” by Aloe Blacc.  Judges’ Scores: 27/30. Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy It was time to dance the Rumba for this couple. Nancy went with 2006 as her most memorable year because she felt that was the year of her family.  The duo performed to “Love Someone” performed live by Lukas Graham. As has been the case for Nancy this season, there’s improvement, but she’s still nowhere near where she needs to be.  Judges’ Score: 22/30 Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten The Instagram star and the pro went with a Contemporary performance of “How to Save a Life” performed by Ray Chew Live. They danced a tribute to Alexis’ late mother who passed in 2014.  As always, it was a robust performance with Alexis showing off how flexible she is and the scores reflected it.  Judges’ Score: 26/30 Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe Evanna went with 2006 as her year of choice. That was the year she landed the role of Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies.  To celebrate this, she performed the Viennese Waltz to “Hedwig’s Theme” by John Williams. Evanna admitted that she had a connection to the movies through the books.  She was offered a role in the movies after becoming penpals with J.K. Rowling while suffering from an eating disorder.  This performance showed just how much she has grown as a dancer, and she has a lot left to give.  Judges’ Score: 27/30 Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson Joe went with 2018 because he said it was going to be the year he wins Dancing with the Stars!  We’re kidding, of course. He did choose 2018 but said it was because he realized he could fall in love.  His Viennese Waltz to “You Are the Reason” performed live by Calum Scott, and Leona Lewis did not help him much in the scores.  He was all over the place. Who the heck is voting for him? Judges’ Score: 18/30 Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke Juan Pablo went with the year 1999, opening up about it being the year he hot-footed it out of Buenos Aires in order to pursue his dreams of being an entertainer in Los Angeles.  We think it’s fair to say he accomplished his goal! His performance of the Samba to “Ni Ty Ni Yo” by Jennifer Lopez was visually stunning. He and Cheryl upped their game in a big way and got a perfect score in the process.  Judges’ Score: 30/30 John Schneider and Emma Slater John has been rather wooden since his debut on the series, but he’s showing some improvement. He went with the Waltz to “Smile” by Ray Chew Live.  His year of choice was 2016 because that was the year he lost his mother. The performance was lacking, but the judges recognized that he was getting better.  Judges’ Score: 21/30 Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess Another week, another Greatest Showman number. Bobby went with a Contemporary routine to “A Million Dreams” from the box office smash.  In doing so, he chose 1998 as the year for him because he graduated high school while dreaming of having a better life.  Judges Score: 23/30 Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong Tinashe went with the year 2014 because that was the year her first album was released and gave her the success she was looking for.  Her Rumba to “2 On” by none other than herself gave her and Brandon some more time to shine. They have a lot of chemistry, and it shows in their performances.  Judges’ Score: 27/30 DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold It was Argentine Tango time for DeMarcus and Lindsay. The duo danced to “Lux Aeterna” by Clint Mansell & Kronos Quarter.  But they went with the year 2016 aka the year DeMarcus winning the Super Bowl. Their performance was tight and filled with big set pieces.  Judges’ Score: 26/30 In the end, it was Nancy and Val and Tinashe and Brandon in jeopardy. Nancy and Val lost their place in the race for the mirrorball trophy.  It’s bizarre that some of the others are still in the competition, but the show is becoming more like a popularity contest these days.  What are your thoughts on the latest elimination? Dancing with the Stars continues Monday on ABC. View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars: The Odds are Out! Who Will Win?

Dancing with the Stars Recap: Who Went Home?

The dancers went from New York City to Las Vegas Tuesday night as Dancing With the Stars turned up the heat and had all of the competitors perform a second routine in one week.  Yes, the stakes were higher than ever before! But who managed to stay in the game, and who was given the boot following another awkward dance?  Let’s break down the performances, and the results, shall we? Juan Pablo Di Pace and Cheryl Burke   Juan and Cheryl danced the Foxtrot to “Why Don’t You Do Right?” by Peggy Lee. It was a sultry performance that continued to keep them in good standing with the judges.  The minor niggle came from Len, and it was all about Juan’s frame, but who the heck cars when you can dance as well as Juan does? Judges’ Score: 26/30 Milo Manheim and Witney Carson “Put on your heels, the sky’s the limit,” said Celine Dion ahead of the duo dancing the Tango to “Ashes.” Milo and Witney took that quite literally because they went all out with their latest number, and the judges were even shocked by it.  Judges’ Score: 26/30 Danelle Umstead and Artem Chigvintsev Danelle and Artem went with the Quickstep to “Luck Be a Lady,” and it highlighted what could go wrong for Danelle.  Her disease rendered her blind, so she was scared of the Quickstep because it was a high energy and high stakes routine.  While the other couples are improving every performance, it seems these two have already peaked.  Judges’ Score: 19/30 Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten Despite being the surprise success of the season, Alexis was blindsided by how demanding this routine actually was, and she left Alan in rehearsals.  Their Tuesday performance that included the Salsa to “Booty” by Jennifer Lopez took a hit as a result, but it was still solid when compared to some of the others.  Judges’ Score: 24/30 John Schneider and Emma Slater John has struggled since the season premiere because he’s rather wooden. His Jive to “King Creole” by Elvis Presley was not all that.  He has a lot of energy but he struggles actually to put that into the performance, and that’s what could ultimately cost him his place in the competition.  Judges’ Score: 20/30 DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold After building up a lot of momentum with their first two performances, that all slowed down with the Quickstep dance to “Ladies Man” by Boyz II Men.  There was something really off with this performance, and it could be down to the height of DeMarcus. They look mismatched as a result.  Judges’ Score: 23/30 Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson Joe may be improving, but there’s still a lot wrong with his dance moves. He lacks the skill, and Jenna wants to try and drum into him the fact that they’re skating around the bottom of the leaderboard.  The Jazz to “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers highlighted the fact that these two might be ready to dance out of the ballroom.  Judges’ Score: 18/30 Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe Evanna and Keo are going from strength-to-strength and their high energy Jive to “Heat Wave” by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas was excellent.  Judges’ Score: 24/30 Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess It turns out, there is such a thing as too much energy in the ballroom! The judges were not all that enthused by the Quickstep Bobby, and Sharna went with to “That Old Black Magic” by Sammy Davis Jr.  Could their exit be on the horizon? Judges’ Score: 19/20 Nancy McKeon and Val Chmerkovskiy Nancy is another middle of the pack performer who seems to have fizzled out early on. Her Paso Doble to “Storm from KA” by Cirque du Soleil was not her best dance yet.  She needs to adapt quickly if she wants to remain in the competition.  Judges’ Score: 20/30 Tinashe and Brandon Armstrong Tinasha has already performed with Britney Spears, so it was unsurprising that she went with “Circus” by the Queen of Pop.  Tinashe and Brandon have the chemistry sorted, so that was a huge positive. They could actually win, you guys! Judges’ Score: 26/30 Mary Lou Retton and Sasha Farber Mary Lou continued to build on her early success with the Samba to “Copacabana” by Barry Manilow. It was a rock-solid performance that proved she was willing to take risks.  The judges were happy with it so that reflected in the scores.  Judges’ Score: 24/30 At the end of the night, it was Danelle and Artem and John and Emma that were in danger. Danelle and Artem were sent packing.  It’s surprising Grocery Store Joe gets to dance again, but he could be leaving in the next week or two.  What are your thoughts on this? Alexis Ren Bolt On Tits Getting Wet of the Day

We live in a world where hot cam girls post pics of butt plugs in their ass on TWITTER… What the hell do we need an instagram influencer that really has no influence…but that calls herself an influencer…because she’s got pervert followers into her bikini pics… But America has their priorities all fucked up and confused, focused on things that don’t matter, fighting over a government that no matter what side you are on are taxing crooks out to fuck you over and benefit themselves… Like overthrow the government, collectively stop paying taxes, instead of waiting around to see who raped who in the 80s when getting a girl drunk to fuck was considered foreplay…get a fucking grip… So America, instead of celebrating the cam girl with her buttplug in her ass, because that’s porno, on twitter, publicly traded PORNO… Are casting these bolt on tits for their dance show in hopes that some of her fans, who actually don’t give a fuck about her, will tune in and watch her dance… This is their attempt to go viral, her attempt to go legit, when all she is is a cam girl who should be putting buttplugs in her ass on twitter…cuz that’ll get you banned off instagram…. She has a lot of followers, they just don’t give a fuck about her, hence why she barely matters…we just like seeing her half naked…so here she is half naked…and retarded looking, fetal alcohol syndrome looking, dopey eyed looking…. Some influencers have influence. People care. Most are just followed cuz they get naked. Figure it out ABC…you’re a billion dollar company hire some people who can figure these things out for you…fucking as retarded as Alexis Ren’s retarded looking eyes. Alexis Ren’s Self Promotion for Dancing with the Stars of the Day

Alexis Ren is an instagram THOT, that’s a ho over there, that’s a girl who is only known for being the hot bikini body on the beach doing cool shit that went viral years ago…and sure she’s got a ton of fucking followers, one of the most followed accounts out there, and all she does is hang out in a bikini, but instead of going mainstream, she got bolt on tits to feel like she matters, as girls with small tits often do, insecurity they don’t realize is stupid, since small tits are JUST as exciting as big tits, we’re perverts and like them all… Then for the last two years of navigating this internet social media herself, all she knew to do was nudes and semi nudes, you know slutty fucking content and I was like “now is the time to put on a sweater and do serious shit to get serious money”…because the followers are there – they aren’t going anywhere..but a whore is a whore is a whore and these exhibitionists love being looked at and continue to be looked at…so they bring the nudity… I like nudity, I just think making money when you can is a smarter move… But as it turns out, I was wrong, and everything I’ve learned over the years about Mainstream blocking out racy shit, especially DISNEY OWNED COMPANIES, doesn’t fucking matter, and she’s on Dancing with the Stars and they are using her to promote the show in lingerie… A muppet face hot body from instagram on Dancing With the Stars….doing half nude shoots to promote Dancing with the Stars…is just the world we live in, and I guess trailer trash who still watch TV need tits to stare at while their wives they beat watch the garbage show that ABC still makes money with… The post Alexis Ren’s Self Promotion for Dancing with the Stars of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepFather.com .

Bill Cosby & Roman Polanski Expelled From the Academy For Decades of Being Awful

Earlier this week, Bill Cosby was found guilty on three counts of sexual assault. The news didn’t come as a surprise to anyone who’s paid attention to the seemingly endless allegations against Cosby, but remarkably, it seems there are some who were caught off-guard by the verdict. For starters, there’s Camille Cosby, who apparently believes her husband was convicted because of racism . We’re no legal experts, but we’re gonna go out on a limb and say it had more to do with the overwhelming evidence against him. Anyway, it remains to be seen if Cosby will actually serve time behind bars, but in the meantime, he’s already suffering the consequences of being one of the worst humans on the planet. Toray, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences – the organization responsible for the Oscars and the Emmys – announced that Cosby has been expelled from its membership. Not only that, Cosby’s fellow sex offender Roman Polanski has also been expelled by the Academy more than 40 years after he allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl. “The Board continues to encourage ethical standards that require members to uphold the Academy’s values of respect for human dignity,” read a statement from the Academy. They should’ve followed that up with “but only in cases where there’s a lot of publicity and it looks like we might wind up taking some heat.” Obviously, the decision on Cosby was prompted by his guilty verdict. But it remains unclear why the Academy decided to finally take action more than 4 decades after his alleged crime. Most likely, the decision was a result of mounting pressure and the massive cultural shift that’s taken place in Hollywood over the past eight months. Ever since the Academy expelled Harvey Weinstein in October, they’ve faced increased pressure to continue cleaning house. Don’t get us wrong – better late than never, but we would be remiss if we didn’t ding the Academy for waiting until this scandal was middle-aged to do something about it. Hopefully, they’ve learned a lesson from all of this. When people are accused of genuinely monstrous acts, you don’t need to wait until dozens more accusers come forward of multiple decades pass to do something about it. And it doesn’t matter how much you love their crappy sitcom, their pudding pop ads, or their overwrought psychological horror flicks. View Slideshow: Bill Cosby Sex Scandal: What Led to His Arrest

Tonya Harding Blasted for Fake Crying, Diva Attitude on DWTS!

On the most recent episode of Dancing With The Stars , infamous Olympics legend Tonya Harding pulled off the Foxtrot. Her performance was pretty good, but it wasn’t perfect. And Tonya broke down in tears afterwards. An insider’s report says that Tonya’s competition think that her tears are fake, and are more than ready for her to go. RadarOnline reports that Tonya Harding’s fake tears were the last straw for the other dancers. “Tonya’s tears just did not sit well with the other contestants.” They were not charmed. And she was apparently already on their last nerve. “And they are already getting fed up with her theatricals.” Okay, so “theatricals” is a nonsense word. A person is theatrical . A theatrical person might display theatrics . “Everyone is saying that she completely faked her crying episode on-screen during the premiere.” And apparenlty they all know what she’s really like, behind the scenes. “Because she is not that emotional in real life.” It was more than just crocodile tears that rubbed them the wrong way. “She is such a huge drama queen and it seems that she believes she is the star of the show already.” And the insider says that she believes that for a not-too-bad reason. “The producers seem to agree.” They’ve been putting her front and center in their promos. “Because they are using her imagery for most of the promotion of this current season.” Weird, consider that Adam Rippon is the huge star from, you know, this century. But that’s none of our business, we guess. Apparently, Tonya’s “theatricals” and other antics have people thoroughly exhasperated. “Everyone is already just so sick of her.” Perhaps they wouldn’t mind her so much if she were dominating the competition? But she hasn’t been doing too badly. She hasn’t been sent home, anyway. Yet . “And the other contestants all agree that they all need to up their game.” They apparently have one goal in mind — aside from victory. “And get her eliminated as soon as possible.” Hey, it’s a competition. This sounds like fair motivation. We will play devil’s advocate for a moment. Let us consider, for example, that it is easy for people to hold a negative opinion of Tonya. She is, of course, implicated in the infamous attack on Nancy Kerrigan. Honestly, among younger people, many would not even remember her name were it not for that legacy — and the recent I, Tonya film on the subject. So it is easy to see how people might view Tonya through the filter of their preconceptions. At the same time … Tonya’s reputation probably didn’t come out of nowhere. Tonya Harding has been disgraced ever since Nancy Kerrigan’s attack . She’s had a number of less-than-ideal moments in terms of public relations and optics. She may have been hoping that Dancing With The Stars would be her redemption arc. But the show itself will thrive on drama. The drama of her winning or losing will work just as well. And if she’s poorly behaved behind the scenes … that honestly helps drive up interest in the show. But if Tonya continues to be seen as difficult to work with … she could be looking at the end of her TV career. View Slideshow: Dancing with the Stars Athletes Season: Cast Revealed!
