According to Page Six reports : The divorce between world-renowned DJ David Guetta and his wife Cathy has hit a real sour note. Sources tell Page Six the split has gotten nasty as they try to divide their assets. Although the couple’s divorce was reportedly finalized in a Parisian court in March, a source told us: “Cathy owns all of the business names, and the music [rights], [including] their ‘F*ck Me I’m Famous’ brand” of dance parties and popular compilation albums. “Even though [their divorce] is finalized, things are not good.” Another music insider told us: “She’s taking a lot of his money. He’s worth $30 million, she’ll probably take $15 million of that.” But many dance music insiders aren’t surprised, given that Cathy collaborated with David during most of the 22 years they were married and helped him grow into an international music sensation. “He’s the rock star,” said a source of David, who has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Usher, Madonna and The Black Eyed Peas, “but she’s the business mogul.” Sounds like Cathy is a real smart lady. Rihanna and Jay-z Set To Perform At London 2012 Olympic Festival Rihanna will be taking her controversial cakes to London to hit the stage with none other than her mentor and man on the low bossman Jay-z. Musical stars, including Jay-Z, Rihanna, David Guetta and Elton John, films from the likes of Alfred Hitchcock and Mike Leigh and art from Yoko Ono and others will all be part of the London 2012 Festival, a cultural celebration across Britain tied to the Summer Olympics that kicks off on Thursday. The festival, which runs through Sept. 9, includes 12,000 events and performances across the country in celebration of the Summer and Paralympic Games. Organizers say there will be 10 million tickets for free and paid-for events in such fields as film, music, theater, fashion, dance and art. Now the former reality TV star decided to focus all her “career comeback” efforts on releasing a second album. Breath? Probably shouldn’t be held. As we previously reported, Paris and Kim Kardashian are “cool” with each other … on the surface. But she still can’t believe her one-time BFF’s level of fame. After all, Paris wrote the book on getting railed on tape and turning it into nonstop celebrity gossip attention and millions of dollars. Kim just did her one better. Or five, or 10 better. In any case, Kim is all the rage these days, while Paris’ first album sold only 197,000 copies at the PEAK of her popularity in 2006. Think the second one’s going to do better? “Paris has been working with Flo Rida, LMFAO, and David Guetta, and the album should be released this summer,” says a source, anonymously of course. “She has a lot riding on this project because her last reality show was canceled, and she needs to do something to re-invent herself. The R&B superstar released his latest single, ” Scream ,” on Thursday (April 26), and it has chart-topper written all over it. The Max Martin-produced banger finds Usher in familiar territory, singing the virtues of living for the moment — just as he did on 2010’s “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love,” which was also helmed by Martin. With a pounding beat and a massive, swelling hook, the song returns Usher to the club after his recent foray into slow-jam territory with “Climax,” the Diplo-produced first single from his forthcoming Looking for Myself. “I see you over there, so hypnotic Thinking ’bout what I do to that body/ I get you like ooh baby baby,” Ush sings. “Got no drink in my hand/ But I’m wasted/ Getting drunk off the thought of you naked/ I get you like ooh baby baby.” In addition to his own new album, Usher also recently hit the studio with David Guetta to record a follow-up to their hugely successful collaboration “Without You.” Usher made a surprise appearance during Guetta’s set at Coachella on April 14. “These are really big records that we’re working on right now,” Guetta told The Hollywood Reporter of his new track with Ush. “It’s really crazy.” Head to our Newsroom blog to see why it’s time for an Usher greatest-hits album.
