Laura Helm said Usher’s belief that he needs an all-encompassing gag order because he’s such a big star that revelations about his sex life, partners and health coming to light could ruin his rep, are full of hot air. Helm said she has already had to endure embarrassment and humiliation from her herpes diagnosis and from having to publicly accuse Usher over it. “Unfortunately, trials are public and often the contents of a trial are embarrassing, but just because the Defendant is a celebrity does not entitle to him to private confidential trials while the rest of society must display their most embarrassing damages publicly, like the Plaintiff had to do to bring this action for the embarrassing damages caused by the Defendant,” Helm wrote in court docs obtained by BOSSIP. Helm said Usher’s legal bid to put a gag order on her herpes transmission case against him not only violates her and the media’s first amendment rights but the courts legal right to a public record. “It is ironic the Defendant, whose lawyer in this matter makes public statements, now asks this Court to gag the Plaintiff. The Defendant, with his power, money and popularity, requests this Court to silence his victims in the time of #metoo.” The alleged victim is adamant that evidence including both of their “content of medical reports or billing records regarding STDs and herpes or third-party claims for the same” be made public once the case heads to trial. A judge has not yet ruled on Usher’s gag order motion.

That’s according to a new motion from the “Caught Up” singer, which asks the judge presiding over his herpes exposure case to seal evidence in the case going forward, according to the motion, which was obtained by BOSSIP. Usher said in court papers that as a public figure, he has a lot to lose if details about his sexual activities, intimate partners and medical records come out as part of the case. We exclusively revealed that plaintiff Laura Helm sued Usher earlier this year, accusing the 40-year-old Atlanta native of knowingly exposing her to herpes simplex during two sexual encounters in 2017. Usher has denied Helm’s allegations and said she assumed any risk when she agreed to unprotected sex with him. Usher insists that if the info were made public, it would cause himself, Helm and third-party witnesses “harm, annoyance and/or embarrassment,” according to Usher’s motion. He said he is especially concerned that the media and others will get the case info and use it for profit. Usher used a similar tactic in a separate, simultaneous herpes exposure case against him involving a woman named Quantasia Sharpton and an anonymous man. The father of two said his legal team tried to reach out to Helm and her lawyer outside of court about a potential protective order, but couldn’t come to an agreement. The news comes as a judge denied Usher’s request to file the motion for the protective order under seal, arguing that all court records should be available for the public to see, and Usher failed to prove how he would be harmed if he filed the gag order motion publicly. Helm hasn’t responded to Usher’s motion, and a judge has yet to rule on his request.

The singer recently released his ninth studio album “A” — and although fans are conflicted about the production of the album, they’re just happy to have their guy back. The ATLien’s last body of work, Hard II Love didn’t connect with his core fans as much. The same year that album dropped,he was f aced with the whole herpes scandal , which forced him to take a break from music. On top of that, he was going through a another divorce, which means his head was totally not in the music game. Usher’s Accuser Reveals Her Identity The woman who claims to have contracted herpes from Usher just earlier this year has stepped forward to reveal her identity. Laura Helm, formerly listed as “Jane Doe” in her $20 million lawsuit against Usher for infecting her with the Herpes virus, has dropped her anonymity. We’re not exactly sure why she chose to expose her identity in this case, but here’s what she looks like: Welp, she’s a far cry from a Quantasia Sharpton . PLUS, she actually has the virus as “proof” and insists that she did not become infected before smashing Usher earlier this year. As we previously reported , Laura claims her run-ins with the very married crooner took place just a few short months ago, on two different occasions — both in Atlanta and in New Orleans, and both completely unprotected. She insists that she wasn’t some groupie, but a platonic friend to the singer. She says he came at her in a romantic way, and drew her in by telling her all about his humanitarian efforts in Africa. She says that when it came time for their encounter at her Atlanta home, Usher set the mood by performing oral sex on her while playing some smooth jazz in the background. She is now revealing that Usher behaved oddly at the time, but she didn’t think as much of it. For one she never saw him “finish” during the act…he always scurried off to the restroom in the final moments. Shortly after their second meetup, she noticed an unusual bump inside her cheek. A few days after that, another one — the size of a grean pea, according to her description — popped up on her vaginal area. YIKES. I went out to London, England to sit down with Halle and Pedro to discuss their role in this film and when I walked in Halle’s hands were stuck together. It turns out her rings got tangled and she had to call outside help to get them separated. After the scare was over, the interview got underway where we learned that this role was handed to Halle while Pedro had to work very hard to get his role. He also revealed that it was an honor to have his driver leave him to go pick up Halle. The Oscar-winning actress plays Ginger Ale, the brainiac agent responsible for all the high-tech gadgets used by the Kingsman’s cousins The Stateman. According to TMZ , her name is Laura Helm and she says in new legal documents that she had two sexual encounters with Usher. The docs say the “Confessions” singer behaved very oddly in their encounters. Helm states in the docs that Usher ran to the bathroom before they finished first having sex. The second time, she says he did not wear a condom and a few days after Helm says she noticed an unusual bump on the inside of her cheek. A few days passed and Helm says she noticed another bump the size of a green pea on her vagina. Helm says Usher set the mood the second time by putting on some jazz music and performing oral sex on her. Helm insists her and Usher started off as platonic friends but then she was wooed by the singer when he told her of his humanitarian efforts in Africa. You can check out a picture of Helm here. Usher Moves To Have Herpes Lawsuit Dismissed Usher is pushing to have his herpes lawsuits flamed out by the judge, claiming that the woman in question has no proof whatsoever that he was the one that lit up her genitals. Now this isn’t the infamous Quantasia case …but the one that came just before it, from another woman claiming to have had a rendezvous with Usher just earlier this year . She originally sued him for $10 million, but upped the ante to $20 mil once she hit the clinic and discovered that she indeed bore the scarlet H. According to TMZ, Usher’s legal folks are stressing that the woman’s paperwork never indicated if she had bothered to be tested for herpes anytime before her encounter with Usher. We’re assuming she was asymptomatic since it took the news breaking in the media for her to even bother to go to the doc for the bloodwork. Either way, seeing as how two-thirds of the population supposedly carry the Herpes infection, Usher says there’s a strong possibility that she already had it before laying with him last spring. OR, she may have caught it after the fact. He also calls her out for getting freaky with folks without knowing her own status or theirs in the first place, and she clearly puts herself at risk with “casual, unprotected sexual intercourse and/or oral sex.” HMMM. Usher is all but admitting that he’s got that fire with this clapback suit. Note, he didn’t say “I couldn’t have infected her because I DON’T HAVE IT,” just that if she didn’t want Herpes, she should have been more careful in general. Cold world, man.
