Mindy McCready Suicide Prevention Video: "I’ll See You Yesterday" Takes on New Meaning

Mindy McCready’s last song, “I’ll See You Yesterday,” contained a strong suicide prevention message and was dedicated to her late boyfriend David Wilson. Obviously, it’s taken on a whole new tragic meaning now. Mindy McCready – I’ll See You Yesterday As she sings “I’ll See You Yesterday,” a photo of a rural scene transitions to pictures of McCready and Wilson, followed by contact info for suicideispreventable.org. It had been intended to be used as a PSA. “She told me it was beautiful, it made her cry and was exactly what she wanted,” says Dan “Danno” Hanks, a private investigator friend who produced the video. “I asked her if I could post it and Mindy’s answer was, ‘You’ll know when it’s right.’ In hindsight, she was having me produce her suicide video.” Hanks posted the video online after police found Mindy McCready dead on the porch of her Arkansas home after apparently shooting herself. Last month, police found David Wilson dead in the very same house, by the same means. He is believed to have taken his own life, as did Mindy. The song, written by McCready pal Courtney Dashe and co-writer Jason Walker, is about remembering the good in relationships that had gone sour. “We know she has been through a lot and the song clearly resonated with her,” says Dashe, who watched McCready cry after hearing the song. “[Danno] said the song had been really helping her cope with the loss.” McCready, who shot her dog as well, had been battling drug use and depression in the 36 days in between her death and Wilson’s – and for years prior.

Mindy McCready Sex Tape: Pulled By Vivid Following Star’s Suicide

Vivid Entertainment has halted circulation of the 2010 Mindy McCready sex tape in the wake of the singer’s suicide, according to news reports. Vivid CEO Steve Hirsch says he has no plans to resume distribution of Baseball Mistress , which features McCready and her boyfriend at the time. It’s unclear when the footage was shot, but the title stems from her alleged affair with married MLB legend Roger Clemens … who is not on the sex tape. Mindy McCready does talk about the affair with Clemens on the video, however … and later denied she ever authorized the release of Baseball Mistress . Anyway, kiss that DVD you planned on purchasing goodbye. Those have already been pulled by the porn company. Digital sales are harder to regulate, but Hirsch says he’s yanking it from Vivid’s website too. McCready was found dead at her home in Heber Springs, Ark., Sunday afternoon after suffering what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She had battled demons for years and was just 37 years old. Mindy shot her dog before taking her own life in the same spot where her boyfriend, David Wilson, was found dead of a gunshot wound just 36 days earlier.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt on Celebrity Big Brother: We Feared For Our Lives!

Having come in second place behind Ryan Clark on Celebrity Big Brother (UK), Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are continuing to open up about their experience. The gruesome twosome, who said they only feigned being asses for the sake of ratings, now admit they feared for their lives during the competition! Long out of sight and out of mind as far as the American public is concerned, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt re-emerged on UK reality TV this winter. While the Big Brother house tends to be unpredictable, Spencer and Heidi both admit that they felt as if their lives were in danger during the competition! “We didn’t sleep much at all,” Pratt said. “I always had one eye open. We were watching them thinking they were going to try and kill us in our sleep.” “We were constantly nervous something might happen. Every time we saw any of them near knives we left the kitchen straight away,” he said. The man has always had a gift for hyperbole. “They were at such an intense level in the house, we thought they would come and mess with us. Who knows what they would do?” Heidi Montag adds. “At times they were very volatile, easily triggered, and had violent tendencies. I thought we would have to run to get away. I didn’t want to get into a fight at all costs.” The duo did admit, however, to playing the villains. “They brought us in to be Speidi and stir it all up. I feel like a cartoon character. My talent for some odd reason, is being an a**hole” Spencer Pratt said. The winner of the competition, Ryan Clark, isn’t buying it. “I think that’s a load of b*llocks. If that’s really how they feel then ‘bully’ means a different term in f**king America,” says the former X Factor hopeful. “I’ve never met two people who have made me feel so uncomfortable in my life … I think they are genuinely gutted they didn’t win. F*** them … I won in the end!” Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt :   Love ’em! Hate ’em! Love to hate ’em … View Poll »

Chris Brown Likens Self to Jesus; Feeling Crucified in Wake of Frank Ocean Melee?

Chris Brown is apparently feeling crucified since his fight with Frank Ocean. Yesterday, the 23-year-old R&B star, who also paints in his spare time, posted a new photo on Instagram of Jesus on the cross, with a not-so cryptic caption: “Painting the way I feel today,” he wrote. Although he seems to have an extremely hard time taking his own advice, the controversial and often embattled singer also added, “Focus on what matters!” Accounts of the Chris Brown-Frank Ocean fight vary. The alleged altercation involving the stars and their posses occurred at a W. Hollywood recording studio parking lot Sunday night, then moved into the lobby. Officials said “Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The ruckus allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim.” Ocean, who claims Brown threw the first punch, is only listed as the victim because he stayed and spoke to police, while Brown and his people left. Chris has not been charged with a crime, however, and isn’t likely to be; his lawyer says he can and will speak to police because he did nothing wrong. Moreover, Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos, says that studio surveillance footage of the incident also proves that his client did not punch anybody. What actually happened remains to be seen, although there is a history of animosity between the two that likely contributed to emotions growing heated.

Newtown Father Heckled at Gun Violence Prevention Hearing

Neil Heslin, the father of a six-year old boy who was among the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting on December 14, testified yesterday before the Gun Violence Prevention Working Group at the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. With over 1,000 people in attendance, Heslin held a framed photo of himself and his late child and pleaded with lawmakers to improve mental health options and to ban assault weapons. Newtown Father Heckled at Hearing “I still can’t see why any civilian, anybody in this room in fact, needs weapons of that sort,” Heslin said. “You’re not going to use them for hunting, even for home protection.” Interrupting his speech at various points, pro-gun activists in the crowd shouted “Second Amendment” as Heslin tried to continue. “There are a lot of things that should be changed to prevent what happened,” he said. Watch the video above and then vote: Is it time for major gun legislation in the country?   YES. Fewer guns, fewer tragedies! NO. It’s unconstitutional and won’t stop anything! View Poll »

Mindy McCready: I Didn’t Kill David Wilson!

Mindy McCready has been through a lot, and is certainly no saint (drug addiction, jail time, domestic altercations, etc), but she wants to clear one thing up: She did not kill David Wilson . In an interview with NBC’s Dateline (a portion of which aired on Today), she says of losing her boyfriend, “I’ve never gone through anything this painful .” “Nor will I ever again go through anything as painful.” Calling Wilson, who took his own life via self-inflicted gunshot wound, her “soul mate,” she added, “He didn’t just touch my heart, he touched my soul.” Wilson, 34, was the father of McCready’s 9-month-old son, Zayne. She also has a 6-year-old son, Zander, from her relationship with Billy McKnight. According to news reports, David Wilson died at his home in Heber Springs, Ark., of suicide. The investigation into his death remains open, however. Asked whether she had any role in the record producer’s demise, Mindy said, “Oh my God, no. Oh my God, no. He was my life. We were each other’s life.” She also slammed rumors that Wilson was cheating on her, saying, “David was not having an affair with another woman. That is absolutely totally untrue.” However, when questioned about whether she believed “100 percent” that David Wilson had committed suicide, McCready was quiet for a moment. “I don’t know,” the troubled singer admitted. All we can do is stay tuned on this one.

It’s (Only) a Boy for Mindy McCready!

Mindy McCready cannot even give birth without controversy. The country singer – who abducted her son in late 2011 and was eventually found cowering with the five-year old in a friend’s closet – welcomed a baby boy into the world last Monday, she confirmed over the weekend, despite reports that she was pregnant with twins. His name is Zayne. “Zayne is truly a blessing and a joy,” McCready and boyfriend David Wilson said in a statement. “It was a long and trying pregnancy; we’re so happy he’s here. There are no words to convey how happy we are.” A rep for McCready says a “misinterpreted sonogram” was to blame for the initial claim of two fetuses. The crooner’s sordid history includes an alleged relationship with cheating baseball star Roger Clemens when she was only 16, along with the incident detailed above and a sex tape . She is also the mother to Zander, 6.
