Some TV shows know when to call it quits. Others are dragged kicking and screaming on for season after season. These 13 TV shows need to be canceled with no prior announcement. Just end them already! 1. 13 Reasons Why – Netflix The first season was a solid, but the second was laughable. The third was even worse. It doesn’t even deserve a final season to wrap things up. End it NOW. 2. Fear the Walking Dead – AMC When Fear the Walking Dead debuted, it was a cut above its predecessor. But after some changes behind the scenes, the better characters were written out to make way for silly characters. The current fifth season is essentially a satire. 3. The Hills: New Beginnings – MTV The Hills was stale long before it went off the air in 2010. This reboot is about 10 times worse. The plots are forced, and it plays out as though the cast is desperate to create drama. It’s pretty sad. 4. Veronica Mars – Hulu Fans rejoiced when Veronica Mars returned as a series on Hulu, but then they went and killed off one of the most important characters. Now, fans really want the series to crash and burn. 5. The Affair – Showtime The Affair was groundbreaking when it launched, but it’s now in its fifth and final season. Absolutely nothing of note has happened, so it would be better to just cancel it without airing the rest of the episodes. It’s hard to imagine them being much better than the nonsense the series has been churning out. 6. Grey’s Anatomy – ABC We hate to say it, but Grey’s Anatomy has run its course. Spencer Pratt has vowed revenge against those whom he felt “wronged him.” But he and Heidi aren’t focused on the negative. Talking about Baby #2 is very much focusing on the positive, but when do they plan for this to go down? To hear Heidi tell it, she fully expects to start trying to get pregnant as soon as possible. The clock is ticking, folks! On Thursday, July 25, Heidi Montag was in attendance at the Booby Tape USA Launch Party. There, she revealed to Us Weekly that she and Spencer are already making plans to expand their family. It’s not just that they want a second child. They apparently have a timeframe in mind for when they would like to start trying to conceive. “Hopefully in a few months,” Heidi reveals. “We’ll start trying” Heidi also gushed about little Gunner Stone, who will be two years old in just a couple of months. “He’s starting to talk a lot more, which is really fun,” Heidi reveals. Different babies develop linguistic skills at different ages and rates. “He loves TV,” Heidi notes. “Which is great for traveling and he’s running the sprints everywhere.” She brags: “[He’s] just a lot of fun.” Contrary to some concerns about screen time and child development, TV in moderation can be wonderfully stimulating for children. It sounds like Gunner really does take after his parents — and especially hi dad. The adorable baby also “loves [playing with] crystals.” Heidi also shares that he enjoys being in the presence of the The Hills: New Beginnings camera crew. “He loves an audience,” she explains. “He’s a great artist, actually,” Heidi brags. “He loves painting, and he’s really great at the piano.” Spencer spoke just last month about what Heidi is like as a mother. “Heidi was a very, very intense-attachment parent,” Spencer shared. “I’m sure some would say extreme,” he admitted. “But to me it was just being a super mom.” “To be honest, if it [wasn’t] for The Hills , I don’t know if she would have ever left Gunner’s side,” Spencer confessed. It turns out that Heidi wonders the same thing. This week, Heidi also acknowledged that the show “was actually a blessing in disguise.” Or just a blessing. They’re getting money and reality stardom again. How many people get a second chance like that? “It was nice because I wouldn’t have left [Gunner],” she admitted. “And I kind of needed a little encouragement and motivation to do that.” “It’s still really hard for me to leave him,” Heidi shared. Obviously, the most fun for me is being home and being with my son and I love being a mom,,” Heidi emphasized. “[But] at the same time, it’s good for both of us to go out sometimes,” she points out very correctly. Honestly, hearing that Gunner likes crystals is almost too funny. It’s not surprising — most humans like them — but for Spencer, they were once a financially devastating addiction. The reality television careers of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are dead. About this, there can be no debate. But the former Hills star has come out and told Paper Magazine something shocking: She was once also dead! Back in late 2009, the ex-MTV personality underwent 10 plastic surgery procedures. It was a decision she later confessed to regretting, telling multiple outlets that it was a mistake to get a nose job, breast implants and liposuction, among other surgeries. In this new interview, we learn a large reason why. “Spencer thought he lost me. I died for a minute. With that much surgery, I had to have 24-hour nurse care and Spencer didn’t want to leave my side,” Heidi explains. She goes on to offer more detail of her harrowing experience: “I was at a recovery center and had Demerol to deal with the pain because it was so extreme.” At one point, the brand new mother recounts: “My security guards called Spencer and told him, ‘Heidi’s heart stopped. She’s not going to make it.’ “And I easily could’ve. Cutting yourself up isn’t something I’d recommend, and Demerol isn’t anything to play around with. That’s how Michael Jackson died.” Many years later, Montag had her size F (!!!!) breast implants removed — and spoke honestly about mistakes she had made. “A lot of positive things came out of that. I had to look at myself in the mirror every day healing, and be like, ‘What did I do to myself? How did I get here? What is going on?’ “I basically had to hit that rock-bottom moment in my life, to realize what was important to me.” It may seem hard to remember now, but Heidi and Spencer were sort of Kim Kardashian before there really was a Kim Kardashian . They were EVERYwhere, sharing their life with the public and becoming A-List celebrities, despite lacking any real talent. And most of the public hated them for it. In actuality, however, Speidi was sort of just ahead of its time. Think of how many reality stars now dominate the news, despite this same lack of talent. “It’s the exact same thing, and it’s being seen by maybe even more people than what we had done,” Heidi tells Paper . “It’s fascinating that that’s accepted now, but it was cheesy and fame-whorey when we did it.” To be clear, Kardashian, just to use her as an example, is still a fame whore. But it’s evident she has earned a level of respect that was never afforded to Montag or Pratt back in the day. Not that Heidi is complaining. We never would have said this a decade ago, but she doesn’t care about fame or fortune very much anymore. She really just cares about one thing and one thing only: her son. Gunner’s given me a whole new strength that I didn’t know. I feel like I am stronger than I’ve ever been emotionally. At the end of the day, I’m his mom, and that’s my main priority.” How very mature and grounded. We never thought we’d see the day.

It’s only been six weeks since Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell got married , but already, the newlyweds find themselves at the center of a controversy. The latest Duggar mini-scandal has nothing to do with the Joe and Kendra’s actions since saying “I do,” however. Instead, it seems fans are irate about something that took place before their massive wedding. TLC recently uploaded a video taken just days before Joseph and Kendra exchanged vows. The footage shows the young couple enjoying a picnic and discussing their plans for married life. “I think it’s gonna be exciting to move into our first house together,” Kendra says at one point. “And doing some of the ministry stuff again … Doing the singing and the outreach. It’ll be great to get back.” Kendra adds: “I think I’m also looking forward to getting back into a normal schedule. Maybe cook some meals together.” For his part, Joe says simply: “I’m looking forward to making more memories like this with you.” So what’s so controversial about that? Well, nothing really, but the outing appears to differ from Joe and Kendra’s other dates in one significant way: In the past, Joseph and Kendra’s dates were chaperoned by members of his massive family. In fact, the Duggars proved the lengths Joe and Kendra went to to safeguard their own chastity by posting footage of a rollerblading date on which the pair was kept in line by the presence of Joe’s younger brothers. (Fact: no rollerblading date has ever resulted in sex.) Fans believe the pre-wedding picnic presented in the new clip shows Joe and Kendra on an un-chaperoned date, which would put them in violation of the Duggar rules of courtship. (No, camera crews don’t count as chaperones according to the Duggar Code of Conduct.) Naturally, critics have been quick to attack the young couple for their alleged hypocrisy. But we’ve gone full Zapruder film with this footage, and after hours of painstaking frame-by-frame investigation, we now believe Joe and Kendra are being unfairly criticized. In the first several seconds of the video, an unidentified third party can be seen following close behind Joe and Kendra. We don’t know who it is, but it’s worth noting that woman is dressed according to the Duggar rules regarding female attire. Is it one of Joe’s sisters? A trusted family friend, perhaps? We don’t know, but we’re guessing it’s safe to assume Joe and Kendra didn’t give into their biological urges right there in front of the cameras. On Sunday, October 1st, Heidi Montag gave birth to her and Spencer Pratt’s first child — a precious baby boy. The first photos of baby Gunner Pratt are slowly trickling in, but the proud parents have shared a brand new photo. Heidi has now joined the ranks of actresses who are sharing breastfeeding photos. During they heyday of The Hills , the very idea of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt becoming parents would have given us nightmares. After the two of them managed to burn through their $10 million fortune in a frighteningly short amount of time, the thought of them becoming responsible for a tiny human being would have caused us to slip into a coma. But this pair of D-listers have come a long, long way since then. Don’t get us wrong — they’re still, uh, “eccentric.” Their feud with Lauren Conrad still seems to be going strong. And yes, Spencer Pratt still loves crystals. But they’ve clearly made strides towards what is at the very least a strong resemblance to personhood since The Hills was a thing. Which is good, because baby Gunner is here! Awwwww! This is great, first of all, because it’s a precious photo of all three members of this small but growing family. But it’s also wonderful because every photo that celebs share of themselves breastfeeding helps to normalize breastfeeding for millions of women. We don’t know how many instances there have been of women being asked to leave or to breastfeed their babies in often filthy public restrooms. ( No one should have to eat lunch in a bathroom, folks) The worst cases are when women in art museums are asked this, since they’re often surrounded by paintings and sculptures of bare breasts but aren’t being allowed to feed their infants. The #FreeTheNipple movement isn’t just about toplessness for toplessness’ sake, though that’s a worthy cause in and of itself. It’s also just about making society less uptight about breasts and their accompanying nip nops. In her own way, Heidi Montag is helping make the world a better place. Every drop in the bucket contributes to the inevitable cultural shift. Precious baby Gunner deserves the best, right? Fortunately, Spencer and Heidi have done more than just grow with age and life experience. Heidi rekindled her relationship with her formerly estranged mother, Darlene Egelhoff. Previously, Heidi had gotten what the medical community refers to as a “horrifying f–kton” of cosmetic surgery, distorting her features into a twisted caricature of humanity and spending a ludicrous amount of money in the process. At the time, Heidi’s mother had expressed concerns. Like the rest of America. Heidi hadn’t liked that, so she and her mother were on bad terms for years. But they both agreed to appear on The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition . The whole purpose of which is to orchestrate reconciliations between mothers and daughters. In some cases, it didn’t work out so well. In some cases, it shouldn’t work out. But in the case of Heidi Montag and her mother, they were actually able to reconnect and soothe some old wounds. In fact, Heidi Montag flaunted her 6-month baby bump while hiking with Spencer and with her mother. The more family that they’re close to, the bigger their support network. Family isn’t the only support network that they’ve set up for their baby, of course. Jen Bunney is Gunner’s godmother , which is not surprising but makes for an amazing The Hills callback, but she’s apparently not his only godparent. We don’t have the complete list or anything, but that’s interesting to know. And comforting. The whole idea is that they would assume responsibility for Gunner if, heavens forbid, anything should happen to Heidi and Spencer. But hopefully the Pratts’ extensive, expensive collection of crystals will bring them all of the good vibes or good luck or whatever that they need so that they can always be there for little Gunner.
