In a word? KABOOM ! In a whole bunch of words? Holy shocker, reality TV fans, can you believe the bombshell that exploded all over last night’s Married at First Sight finale?!? We’re still reeling from what we just witnessed and, as you can tell by the looks on the coaches’ faces below, we aren’t alone… We won’t delay the suspense any longer. We’ll just hope all readers are sitting down when they read the following: Keith Manley said he wanted to separate from Iris Caldwell on Wednesday night’s episode. “You’ve been nothing but supportive. Whether it’s coming to my grandmother’s funeral or you coming to meet my family and spending time with my family,” he told her on air, adding in more painful detail: “I do want you to know how grateful I am to have met someone who has pushed me in so many different ways that I just had no idea I needed to be pushed in. “Right now, I do think that we are in different places individually and for that reason I would like to get a divorce.” Dr. Pepper Schwartz was left “stunned” by this decision, while Dr. Viviana Coles said her heart was “broken for Iris.” As for the bride? She handled the news better than expected. “I think you’re an amazing person,” Keith added. “I think you’re an amazing woman but I’m just not sure you’re the right one for me.” “I guess I’m at peace with it because it’s something I can’t change,” Iris replied simply. Take as long as you need to process this development and then scroll down to learn the fate of Gregory Okotie and Deonna McNeill … Deonna said she was “growing in love” with her husband during their sit-down, helping us believe in this emotion once again. “This kind of feels like a fairy-tale,” she continued. “I got married at first sight to find my forever relationship, to find my complementing partner, go on adventures, go grocery shopping, go home and have someone to talk too. With Greg, I have all of that.” Hooray! Can Matthew Gwynne and Amber Bowles keep this positive reaction flowing? After Gwynne was confronted with allegations of flirting with other women while married, the athlete apologized. He sounded sincere, at least to an extent, but it wasn’t enough for Amber … who stood up for herself in a way that left viewers applauding all night long. “I think I deserve to be pursued,” she said, continuing as follows: You said it’s because you didn’t feel a spark or connection but why didn’t you walk away when you didn’t feel the spark or connection? “You could have saved me a whole lot of heartache because I’m hurting now and I’m feeling humiliated and I’m feeling like I’m not enough because of how you acted and the choices you made. “I wish you would have walked away instead of hurting me.” Amen, Amber. As for Elizabeth Bice and Jamie Thompson ? These two, and the way they were presented, left us guessing until the very end. First, Jamie confessed that he doesn’t “love the sexual relationship” he has with Jamie. So the end had to be near for the newlyweds, right? Nope: despite their many ups and downs, the couple was united in their decision to remain married. “I think there is a lot for us to grow together in this world and I think we have a lot of positive things to bring to each other’s lives, but you’ve done some pretty effed up things and you’ve called me some pretty choice words,” Elizabeth said. “I think I’d be really crazy if I didn’t stay with you so I want to stay in this marriage.” Can’t say we saw that coming, but the episode was chock full of surprises. “I just think there’s just too much good, too much positivity, too much to throw away so my answer is yes, I want to stay married,” Jamie concluded. C hicago-bred rapper Common is adding real estate developer to his repertoire. According to the Chicago Tribune , the music artist—whose real name is Lonnie Rashid Lynn —is investing in the transformation of an underdeveloped property located in the city’s South Side area. Chicago rapper Common and a group of real estate developers want to convert the former U.S. Steel plant on the city’s south lakefront into a movie production campus. https://t.co/44yxW8ug3L — Chicago Tribune (@chicagotribune) July 28, 2019 Lynn is reportedly working with a group of real estate developers to transform a vacant piece of land which used to be a U.S. Steel plant into a large mixed-use development. He wants to convert the 415-acre site into a hub that will include homes, stores, entertainment and sports facilities, and a movie production campus. He hopes that the development of these new establishments will revive the surrounding community and provide job opportunities for people in the neighborhood. The cost to purchase the site will be nearly $71 million. The developers are working on bringing investors on board and the plans for the site would have to be approved by the city. Lynn has been dedicated to bettering his hometown and bringing authentic narratives about the city to the forefront through his artistry. “I felt a responsibility to be a voice for the people of Chicago, to represent their humanity,” he said in an interview with the Los Angeles Times . “We are human beings and that’s something many people don’t get to experience or witness because they hear about Chicago through its violence. We have a duty to make sure we tell the stories of these human beings.” The rapper isn’t the only one who is investing in their hometown. Earlier this year it was announced that Queen Latifah is creating an affordable housing complex in Newark to level the playing field when it comes to housing equity. The project—which is reportedly going to cost $14 million—will include a community of multi-family townhouses, a fitness center and commercial space that will be used by nonprofit organizations. Source: Marvel Studios / Marvel Studios A few weeks ago at San Diego’s Comic Con Marvel revealed it’s movie slate for MCU’s phase 4 which included some highly anticipated projects including Blade starring Mahershala Ali as the vampire killing Daywalker and Thor 4, but noticeably absent was any mention of the sequel to everyone’s favorite Black superhero, Black Panther 2 . Though we know it’s definitely happening and director Ryan Coogler is penning the script, we haven’t gotten much else other than rumors about Killmonger possibly returning to Wakanda (Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige basically shot that rumor down recently). While official word on Black Panther 2 remains scarce, We Got This Covered is reporting that the villain for the highly anticipated sequel has been nailed down and it’s none other than the merman known as Namor. The Sub-Mariner will be T’Challa’s main antagonist when we all return to Wakanda for the next adventure. According to our sources – the same ones who told us that the real Mandarin will appear in Shang-Chi and Taskmaster will be the villain inBlack Widow, both of which were later confirmed by Marvel – the studio has chosen Namor to be the main antagonist of Black Panther 2. The specifics of his role are still a bit unclear, but like we said above, the sequel will see him trying to take control of Wakanda and become its ruler. As with any scoop of this kind, we imagine Marvel may deny it publicly as they so often do, but as we mentioned above, our sources are usually pretty reliable, so we feel fully confident in their intel. And while things can always change in the development process given how early on it still is, for now, it seems that Namor will finally be making his big screen debut in Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther 2 . This shouldn’t come as a surprise as rabbit-eared fans caught the easter egg in Avengers: Endgame when Okoye mentioned underwater earthquakes off the coast of Africa. Could it be the city of Atlantis readying to make its presence known to the world? We don’t know but fans were quick to point out the possibility and that Namor would soon be joining Marvel’s cinematic universe. Though Marvel hasn’t confirmed the news We Got This Covered is also reporting that they’re eyeing Crazy Rich Asians star Henry Golding to take on the role of the hotheaded anti-hero. No word yet on when Black Panther 2 will be making its way into theaters but rumors have it dropping November of 2021 or February 2022. Either way, we can’t wait.
There have been many gloriously bitter celebrity feuds over the years, but few have captured the public’s imagination quite like the longstanding beef between Katy Perry and Taylor Swift. Katy and Taylor’s war was a cold one waged with subtle invective and veiled insults. Despite the mostly passive nature of the aggression, there was never any doubt about the singers’ animosity toward one another. Some say Katy and Taylor feuded over backup dancers . Others say the rivalry had to do with the fact that both women dated John Mayer (at different times). We may never know for sure, but whatever the cause, the bad blood was so intense that years after their initial spat, these two are still not on speaking terms. So you can imagine our surprise this week when Robert Pattinson was spotted hanging out with Taylor. Perry and Pattinson dated briefly and they’ve remained close friends in the years since their fling came to an end. These days, Katy is engaged to Orlando Bloom and Taylor is dating Joe Alwyn, so there’s no risk of this turning into another Mayer situation. But still, fans were caught off-guard by reports that R-Pattz and girlfriend Suki Waterhouse were spotted on a double date with Taylor and Joe. Many expected that this development would reignite the dormant beef between Katy and Taylor, but remarkably, it seems Perry is taking a Zen-like approach to the news. “Katy is cool if Rob happens to go out with Taylor in social settings and [feels that] it’s none of her business,” a source close to the situation tells Hollywood Life . “She and Rob have been friends forever and she isn’t going to make something out of nothing.” Yes, it seems we’re dealing with a more mature Katy these days. In fact, the insider says that while Katy won’t be burying the hatchet with Taylor anytime soon, she no longer harbors an intense, burning hatred for her fellow pop icon: “Katy’s issues with Taylor have tempered anyways and Katy is actually looking to the future and not the past with that feud,” says the insider. “She has no ill will toward Rob for the dinner date, and she won’t if he does it again.” It’s a far cry from the days when Karlie Kloss hung out with Perry and got cut off by Swift as a result. We’re proud of Katy and Taylor for moving on from the pettiness — but we’d be lying if we said we most miss their wildly entertaining feud. View Slideshow: 21 Celebrity Feuds We Never Saw Coming
And, with that, it’s over. Both the latest season of Little People, Big World and the one major debate that hung over the past several episodes of this TLC reality show. Would Amy and Matt Roloff sell their family farm? Would the latter convince the former that this was for the best? Or would the former successfully hold out and hold on to the property? On Tuesday’s concluding episode of Little People, Big World, Amy finally decided – after lengthy, frustrating and at times anger-filled negotiations with her ex-husband – that living on the farm was no longer “healthy” for her. She agreed to move on. “This has been a huge, huge decision, and it’s probably caused me a lot of stress and a lot of anxiety and a lot of sadness,” Amy confessed to the camera on Tuesday night ahead of her meeting with Matt, adding: “It was hard to get to this place, but I think it’s time.” Does she really, though? “I’ve been dreading making this decision,” the mother of four continued. “I wish it came a lot quicker, but it didn’t. And so I did take the time. It wasn’t easy for me, but I’m glad it’s here now.” Amy and Matt have lived on the farm in Oregon and run it as a business for three decades. Even after their divorce in 2016, they remained on the propery; residing just about 100 yards from each other and still working side by side. So of course this was a monumental decision for Amy. Of course she needed to take her time in making it. We really can’t believe fans gave her a hard time for thinking about the issue from all sides. Matt explained on the finale that he wanted Amy to still feel welcome on the farm — and he hoped she would be part of pumpkin season every year. However, he also agreed that Amy moving on would be best for their family as a whole. “I’m a little surprised Amy is choosing to sell her equity of the farm, but you know, it feels like it might be the right decision,” he told the camera. “I know it’s hard for her; it’s hard for both of us and she’s been raising her kids here for 30 years, but I do think it feels like it’s time to move on.” For his part, Matt referred to farm ownership as a “burden” earlier this season… and he also bought a home in Arizona with girlfriend Caryn Chandler last year. After all these years on the land, he’s expressed little hesitancy in doing something else with his life. “I don’t think any decision was really a good one. I think it’s the best one, not only for right now, but I think in the future for me,” Amy said of why she has finally sold, making it clear she isn’t exactly thrilled with the development. On the finale, she added of her decision: “This farm worked for me because we had two people making it happen. I can’t do it on my own. Everything for me has changed on the farm.” How did Zach Roloff feel about this conclusion? It didn’t come as much of a shock to him, not after the many weeks his mother spent contemplating what to do. Watch Little People, Big World Season 14 Episode 10 Online This is what he said once the decision to sell was finalized: “I think probably that’s the best choice. It will be harsh and quick, but then the road to recovery, I think will happen faster.” According to Radar Online, however, Oregon property records show both Matt and Amy’s names remain on the deed of the house. So we’re not entirely sure where things stand at the moment, months after the finale was filmed. As always, however, stay tuned to The Hollywood Gossip for the latest news, views and Roloff hot takes! View Slideshow: Little People, Big World: The Roloffs’ Shocking Scandals… Exposed! [Updated]
Source: Slaven Vlasic / Getty Pras Michel Charged In Obama Campaign Donation Scheme Former Fugees member Pras Michel has been charged with campaign finance violations that took place during the 2012 United States presidential race. According to the four-count indictment, Pras has been accused of funneling foreign money to a super PAC that allegedly supported Barack Obama’s reelection campaign. According to reports from TMZ , the legal document doesn’t specifically mention Obama’s name, but does point to a number of instances where the artist was photographed with the former president. Federal prosecutors are accusing the Fugees co-founder of conspiring with Malaysian businessman Jho Low to hide the source of these funds. The scheme is said to have involved using falsified records to funnel millions of dollars from foreign accounts to the U.S. That money ended up being split up among “straw donors,” who would then proceed to make small, more discreet donations to the PAC over time. “Mr. Michel is extremely disappointed that so many years after the fact the government would bring charges related to 2012 campaign contributions,” Pras’ attorney Barry Pollack said about the incident in a statement to CNN . “Mr. Michel is innocent of these charges and looks forward to having the case heard by a jury.” Michel is facing charges of conspiracy, making a false statement, and two counts of falsifying records. Pras and Low were both named in the DOJ’s investigation of the 1Malaysia Development Brand scandal. “According to the allegations in the complaint, Michel and [former Justice Department official George Higginbotham] defrauded U.S. financial institutions and laundered millions of dollars into the United States as part of an effort to improperly influence the Department’s investigation into the massive embezzlement and bribery scheme involving 1MDB,” Assistant Attorney General Benczkowski said in 2018 . “The Criminal Division and our law enforcement partners will do everything we can to trace, seize, and forfeit the proceeds of foreign corruption that flow through the U.S. financial system.”
They say that love is a battlefield. On Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 , however, the concept of love appeared to trump anything that happened on the battlefield… … and it was exceptionally weird. Following a succesful battle against the Night King, nearly everyone in Winterfell was in a celebratory mood on Sunday night. That’s fine and great and understandable and all. We’d down a few pints of ale after defeating the army of the undead as well. But focus was shifted so strongly away from what Dany described as the “last war” still to come against Cersei that many of our heroes and heroines cared more about plotting their romantic gestures than plotting their next attack. This was no big deal when it involved poor Gendry (just made Lord of Storm’s End) proposing to Arya and the young Night Kingslayer responded by saying she’ll never be a Lady. However, it was a far bigger deal when it centered on Jaime and Brienne shedding both their armor and their clothing. These two have been through a lot together. There’s a very clear and strong bond there. But the show somehow couldn’t leave it alone, couldn’t just allow them to be respectful friends and battle partners. It had to give us a storyline in which Jaime got jealous of Tormund hitting on Brienne and therefore got drunk and followed her into her bedroom and the two had sex and then acted like a pair of totally smitten teenagers. Heck, totally middle middle schoolers, really. Because they were just so in love, Jaime and Brienne chose to stay behind in Winterfell, even after a plan was devised for two groups (one by boat and one by land) to storm King’s Landing and overthrow Cersei. Yes, Brienne (a proud knight who may be the best fighter in all of Westeros) and Jaime (who should want nothing more than to murder his sister and who isn’t a shabby fighter himself) stayed behind to hang out in bed all day. This changed, of course, after Sansa made a remark about Cersei eventually getting hanged and then Jaime broke Brienne’s heart by choosing to rush back and seemingly save his sister because he, too, is “hateful.” This reduced mighty Brienne of Tarth into a blubbering, crying mess and, just… WTF, Game of Thrones?!? But it got far worse and less sensical on two other fronts. First, Jon Snow proved that he was far better off when he knew nothing because he insisted on spilling the secret of his true identity to Sansa and Arya. He did this after Dany begged him not to because she wanted to be Queen and he didn’t — and it didn’t take a Tyrion-like mind to realize that Sansa would not just sit quietly on this information. Dany basically threatened her lover to take this secret to his grave or else they’d never live peacefully as a couple and she’d never reign peacefully as a monarch. Jon ignored her, however, and told Sansa and Arya everything. At least we assumed he did so — somehow, despite Jon’s heritage being THE main plot point right now, the series chose to cut away and not give us Arya and Sansa’s reaction to this bombshell. Dany did prove to be prophetic, though, when Sansa barely lasted one scene before telling Tyrion everything. This at least led to maybe our favorite scene of the episode, as Tyrion and Varys debated what the heck to do about it. Jon is the true heir to the Iron Throne. He is reasonable and popular and, as Varys astutely pointed out, perhaps the ideal ruler is someone who actually does not want to rule at all. But Tyrion remained steadfast in his opinion that Dany would make a great leader, despite her penchant for killing and her frightening talk earlier that it was her “destiny” to rid the world of tyrants. She seemed totally fine doing this by burning King’s Landing to the group and killing thousands of innocents in the process simply to dethrone Cersei. Thankfully, Tyrion convinced his Queen to at least try and strike a bargain; to offer to spare Cersei’s life in exchange for a quick surrender. Cut to the final, most confounding and both suspenseful and irritating scene of the episode. Cersei and her crew stood outside of the capitol’s gates and Tyrion delivered their terms. However, he did so while Cersei and her entourage held Missandei hostage. She was handcuffed and standing up high alongside Cersei and Euron (who has been told the child in Cersei’s belly belongs to him) and The Mountain. This development raised several questions, chief among them: How did the Golden Army capture Missandei, who Grey Worm had told to get on a skiff as soon as things turned violent when the Unsullied approached King’s Landing? How did the Golden Army even know who Missandei is? Was this scene really necessary? Let’s put aside the beef that many critics have, which is that a show lacking in diversity took a former slave and put her back in chains and then (SPOILER ALERT WE GUESS!) chopped her head off. Let’s just hone in on why this was even included in the episode … outside of the broader political/societal points one could make about Game of Thrones. Did we need yet another reminder that Cersei is a monster? Tyrion pleaded with his sister to surrender at one point because he claimed she was decided NOT this type of non-human being. But she has proven at every turn that she’s as monstrous as they come! She blew up the Sept of Baelor and killed like hundreds of people at once just a short while ago! The audience didn’t need to be told yet again that Cersei is the absolute worst. And Team Take This Bitch Down Forever shouldn’t have ever thought differently, either. It all felt unnecessary, akin to torture porn and a forced twist, orchestrated by the writers for full effect — when the past seven-plus seasons have already been more than enough to prepare us for Dany taking on Cersei and pursuing what she believes is rightfully hers. Whether Dany truly goes mad and goes all dracarys on King’s Landing is an intriguing cliffhanger. The closing shot of the Mother of Dragons in full-on motherf-cker mode was awesome. But the time spent on supposed romances this week – concluding with the pain of Grey Worm watching his girlfriend get executed – felt out of place, not wholly earned and often extraneous. Do you agree? What did you think overall?? Check out scenes below from Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5, which will allegedly be THE BEST THING EVER : Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 5 Preview: It Is ON!

Reportedly, Mathew Knowles is developing a musical based on the story of Destiny’s Child. “I want to pull back the curtain,” Knowles said in a statement , as reported by Deadline . “I feel it’s time to give the world an opportunity to hear, see and feel the victories and failures that I’ve had as a husband, father and manager who risked everything in pursuit of fulfilling dreams – those of mine and others.” Per Knowles, the production will be titled Survivor: The Destiny’s Child Musical . He also plans for the musical to premiere in Houston in 2020 before going on to Broadway and London’s West End, and a world tour.
